Since this past week’s news was slower than a 70s wrestling match, I decided to provide you guys with a few news, I guess?  Now, there was supposed to be a 3rd story that talked about the IATSE Strike and how it would affect professional wrestling television production but just yesterday, the 128-year-old union's West Coast area just reached a 3-year agreement with the producers union, the AMPTP which isn't a great deal for the workers but corporations, am I right?  Let's say if IATSE did go on strike today, I honestly can't see it affecting WWE all that much (I do see it affecting AEW though since they utilized IATSE to handle their production side of things).  Besides, if there's one thing we've learned from last year is that even at the height of the pandemic, WWE's televised programs were still airing. So sad that It's more depressing than what they're doing with Baron Corbin honestly.  From bodyslam.net , they've heard that a segment that involved Karrion Kross cutting a promo before Samoa Joe showed up, had chants of "Hardy". Mad Men Wrestling Podcast , the set of shows that will host this year's draft (RAW and Smackdown for all of you slow mofos) will possibly be delayed to a month.  The draft was supposed to be conducted on the 31st of August and the 9th of September.  The possible delayed date is now either the 1st of October and the 4th of October or the 4th of October and the 8th of October.  I am not a fan of the draft that is taking place right in the middle of the Survivor Series/October PPV build.  A draft that is scheduled weeks after Wrestlemania w...

The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  WWE Refreshing Their Set Designs.  WWE has officially announced that starting on July 16th, world wrestling entertainment is back on the road as first reported by the Mad Men Wrestling Podcast (see, was it difficult, WWE?).  Speaking of Andrew Zarian of Mad Men Wrestling Podcast , Zarian has teased that WWE might refresh their set design for their flash programming:  "Right now, they're working on the sets. I don't know if it's Smackdown or RAW okay. All I know is that they're working on new sets."  RAW would've benefited a lot with a set redesign or a refresh compared to SmackDown because the SmackDown set was straight-up beautiful. I do have some perspectives on a few key things.  Most notably, that Cody Rhodes promo which by the way, was without exaggeration, one of the worst PROMOS I've ever witnessed as a 14 year veteran in the wrestling fandom.  The overall dialogue was an example of American imperialism and without a little or too much propaganda (while having the basic understanding of American imperialism), it exposed the very dated nature of the "America vs foreign heel" storyline.  Let's move on to the positives.
