WWE RAW 29/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode of Monday Night RAW was pretty decent actually. Had some nitpicks for this show obviously but again, decent show.  Opening segment.  The show started off with Alexa Bliss and she's set to announce the participants for the men's Money In The Bank ladder match. She introduced the RAW participants and they are Braun Strowman, Ricochet (the sound effects. Get rid of it NOW!), Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin.  Corbin then proclaimed that he's going be a two-time winner and Ricochet replied by saying “you mean a two-time loser?” (great line by the way). Ricochet said that he's not on RAW to talk which Drew told him to shut up (that was funny).  Braun Strowman said that he's going to be Mr Monster Money In The Bank and proposed a tag team match between himself and Ricochet vs Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin to open this show.  I like this segment. It was short, a bit funny at times and did its job to build off Money In The Bank so far. Oh

A Guide On How To Improve Wrestling Criticism.

Now, before you all verbally eat me alive like a hippopotamus (yes hippos eat humans, look that up), understand that I’m just an average dude writing about pro wrestling and doesn’t claim to be an expert in anything and that includes professional wrestling (except cooking. I’m damn good at cooking).  However, what I’ve been discovering as a pro wrestling blogger for over a year is that there are some wrestling criticism out there that just make me wanna scratch my head to the point where my hands turn into an electric shaver if that makes sense. For instance, “Why is Ricochet’s trunks red instead of white?” or “Why’s Andrade wearing his Luchador mask for his entrance every week?”  In other words, they’re nitpicking and trust me I do that ALL THE TIME in my wrestling reviews. There’s nothing wrong with nitpicking certain things but the difference is that I acknowledge that I’m nitpicking and those guys clearly don’t.  There are fans out there on the interweb that believe their c

WWE NXT 24/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a meh episode of NXT. If this is the first time that somebody watches NXT with this episode then you'll have a hard time convincing that particular person to watch another episode you know what I mean?  The Forgotten Sons’ Jaxson Ryker vs Humberto Carrillo.  I don't watch 205 live but I'm loving every time Humberto wrestles. The match ended in a double count out because Ryker was beating the crap out of Carrillo until Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan showed up to save the young luchador. Not a fan of the Forgotten Sons but this feud for some reason made me wanna watch those two teams fight and I don't know why exactly.  After that, Adam Cole was asked backstage in a photo shoot about the Roderick Strong vs Johnny Gargano match until Matt Riddle showed up and said that it's his turn which led to Adam Cole leaving the shoot.  Aliyah and Vanessa Bourne vs Candice LeRae and Kacy Catanzaro.  This was okay. The team of Candice LeRae and Kacy Catanza

WWE Smackdown Live 23/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode was basically Monday Night RAW lite in terms of how long this show felt but it was fine for what it was.  Opening segment. The show started off with The best in the world, Shane McMahon and tells Greg Hamilton to announce his name with conviction just like the past weeks.  After that, discusses how he's disgusted seeing his father getting hit by Roman Reigns and how it's equivalent to disrespecting the United States flag.  Shane then called out Roman Reigns which that's exactly what happened (but at least I don't get to hear Micheal Cole say “here comes the big dog”).  Reigns threw the microphone and so did Shane McMahon but out came Elias which led to both Elias and Shane McMahon beating the crap out him.  So, we know who Roman is gonna feud now and I'm meh with it for now.  Kayla Braxton interviewed Kofi Kingston and she asked about his 11-year journey to become champion. Kofi Kingston said that it feels good to become WWE

WWE RAW 22/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a decent show with some good stuff but the negatives made me scratch my head to the point that I almost got bald (it's a metaphor, relax guys).  Opening segment.  The show kicked off with the man with three H’s in Triple H and as soon as he was about to speak, The beast slayer in Seth Rollins came out. The universal champion said that it feels good to be back in his hometown after everything he and Hunter been through. Triple H then said that he went into Wrestlemania as the King slayer and now came out of WrestleMania as a certified beast slayer.  Minutes later, Triple H told Seth that there are 2 triple threat matches and the winners of those two matches will compete in the main event of RAW to determine the number one contender for the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank PPV on May 19.  Out came Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Baron Corbin and AJ Styles. They all basically said that they will beat Seth Rollins and become the u

The 5 News Week: WWE Filed A Trademark For WWE Stomping Ground, Ric Flair On Whether AEW should compete with WWE.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. WWE Filed A Trademark For WWE Stomping Grounds. So, this is interesting. WWE NXT 17/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a wrestling heavy show for the most part and you know what? I like it.  Velveteen Dream vs Buddy Murphy for the NXT North American Championship.  Great match. During the match, Velveteen Dream hit a superkick to Murphy that knocked Murphy's head off. Minutes later, Murphy hits a superkick while Dream was upside down followed by a sitout powerbomb to a near fall.  The match ended with Dream does his signature moves in the death valley driver and the purple rainmaker and won the match. Again, that was a great TV match and I know this early to say this but that was a match of the year candidate.  After this amazing encounter, Street Profits was knocking on William Regal’s office door and the War Raiders (yes, I'm gonna call them that because The Viking Experience is an AWFUL name) came from Regal’s and said that The Street Profits are getting their championship match next week. Weird that The Viking Experience wore the War Raiders shirt.  Johnny Champio

WWE Smackdown Live 16/4/19 Aka Superstar Shakeup Final Day | My Coherent Review.

Overall a good show but the Superstar shakeup element was a bit better than Monday Night RAW’s version.  Opening segment.  The second and final day of the Superstar shakeup started off with The Kevin Owens show and he obviously got a big ovation from the Montreal crowd. Owens said welcome to the Kevin Owens show in French and that's all I got from him speaking in French.  He then introduced ⅔ of The New Day in Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston and Owens asked him that they have a match between Rusev, Nakamura and Cesaro vs Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and himself.  The segment ended with all three of those men making a fool of themselves which I'm not gonna lie, it was entertaining. A decent segment in my opinion. Especially when Kevin Owens was gyrating. Hilarious stuff from Owens.  Ali (Still Mustafa Ali to me) vs The first SmackDown Live Pick.  The first SmackDown Live pick is the Intercontinental champion, Finn Balor. Samoa Joe was supposed to be on RAW last n
