WWE Royal Rumble 2021 | A Coherent Review.

I know it's something you've heard a gazillion times but it's true.  We are on the road to Wrestlemania which is f'ing crazy to think about.  While this year's Royal Rumble PPV had its moments, the show as a whole was just fine.  By the way, the show was almost 4 hours but it felt like 2.  As usual, I can't talk about the women's tag team title match at the pre-show simply because I've not seen it.  Images via WWE.com Drew McIntyre vs Goldberg For The WWE Championship.  When Goldberg hits the jackhammer, I almost had a heart attack but thank God the Scotsmen kicked out.   Oh, and Drew McIntyre won the match in a meh opening match that was shorter than the Immortals Fenix Rising demo (the most specific reference I've ever made).  They showed some respect after the match.  At least Drew McIntyre won, right?  Sasha Banks vs Carmella For The SmackDown Women's Championship.  Carmella almost killed herself with that sick looking suic...

WWE Hell In A Cell 2020 | A Coherent Review.

WWE is continuing the streak of shorter PPVs and as a guy that lives overseas, I don't mind WWE doing this even if the fans come back to arenas.   Also, The 2020 edition of Hell In A Cell had a decisive and conclusive ending. Yayyyyyy!  The show itself was okay but it did have its moments, to say the least.  pictures via WWE.com Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso. Hell In A Cell I Quit Match.  I gotta say.  It is so weird to hear boos that WWE adds in the background for Roman Reigns given the history they've had in altering actual boos from the crowd many years ago.  It is also weird for WWE to open this show with a match that main evented the previous PPV. The question is, was it worth it? Heck yeah, dude.  Both men hit each other's finishers not once but twice and it wasn't enough for Reigns and Jey Uso to quit.  At one point, the match was turned into a strap match of some sort because Roman and Jey tied themselves with that strap. Jey used the strap...

WWE RAW 6/5/19 | My Coherent Review.

This is where I feel about how RAW is a hit or miss for me. Last week was a weak hit but a hit nevertheless but this week. This week was a definite miss. In other words, this was a bad show and also a skippable show too.  Opening segment.  The show kicked off with the madmen himself, Vince McMahon. He came out to say this RAW episode will be one for the ages because of him until Roman Reigns showed up with Michael Cole saying “here comes the big dog”.  Roman, please stay on SmackDown Live, please? Vince asked him that why Roman is over sudden on RAW? Roman brought up how the McMahon Family told the fans that the fans are now the authority and he's gonna listen to the WWE universe now.  The returning Daniel Bryan showed and the former planet's champion said that he's owed a rematch for the WWE championship with chants of “Kofi, Kofi, Kofi” which made me laugh. Out came Kofi Kingston (what the hell is going on?). Kofi and Daniel were arguing with each ...

Roman Reigns Relinquishes The Universal Title Because He Has Leukemia.

I have a sad and unfortunate news to break. Two hours ago on RAW, Roman cut a great promo pretty much stating that he's been living with leukemia for over 11 years and the disease's return forced him to give up the universal championship. The segment ended with both shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins gave a group hug to Roman and did the triple shield fist pump. Ever since that, fellow WWE superstars reacted to the news on Twitter and here are the tweets so far. An amazing human being, an incredible performer & a man I’m proud to be friends with. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. Get well soon, champ! #ThankYouRoman https://t.co/jL1Q5dVvzs — #WOKEN, yet #BROKEN, Matt Hardy (@MATTHARDYBRAND) October 23, 2018 My heart right now .... Prayers for @WWERomanReigns 😞🙏🏻 https://t.co/9sqk0KfFnP — Lexi Kaufman (@AlexaBliss_WWE) October 23, 2018 He’s our locker room leader. He IS the business. He’ll be back. You go...

WWE RAW 10/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was once again bad, boring and frustrating to watch and also nothing really happened on this show. Why you ask? Well, here are my reasons as to why. Here we go.  WHAT'S GOOD Triple H's promo   This was short but an affect promo. This build for the Undertaker and Triple H at the super showdown in Australia so far has been better than ANYTHING on RAW right now in my opinion.  WHAT'S OK Nikki Bella vs Ruby riott  There was a point in this match where Nikki Bella did a beautiful looking spinebuster. Match overall was ok. Nikki Bella wins here with the rack attack 2.0 finish.  Kevin Owens vs Tyler Breeze The match hasn't started yet but the best part about this is that Owens is becoming more vicious. In other words, he's becoming more NXT Kevin Owens. He then cut a pretty good promo pretty much saying that he blames Bobby Lashley for his actions and injuring his best friend Sami Zayn. The promo ends with Owens proclaiming that RAW...
