WWE RAW 30/8/21 | A Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW this week didn't hurt my brain cells (except Nia Jax's wrestling skills which are as consistent as any Rob Schneider comedy).  Images via WWE.com   Damian Priest Was Like, "I'll Have An Open Challenge, Please?"  And then, it turned out to be a "wrestlers stated their case as to why they should be a contender" cliche starring Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and the team of RKBro.  To which Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville were like, "how about Damian Priest defending his belt against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus while RKBRO faces the team of MVP and Bobby Lashley".  Cliche aside, the opening scene did a great job of showing a huge importance to the United States Championship which is something that I've been wanting for quite some time.  Rhea Ripley vs Shayna Baszler.  Remember when both of these competitors main evented an episode of NXT? Good times.  Ripley wins with an inside cradle which led to Nia Jax attacking the winn...

WWE RAW 23/8/21 | A Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW yesterday didn't piss me off so that's nice, I guess.  Images via WWE.com   Bobby Lashley Confronted By Damian Priest.  Damian Priest was like, "You're a coward for relentlessly damaging Goldberg's arm and I want to challenge you for a match" and a pissed off Bobby Lashley accepted the offer.  My thoughts after watching the segment  was, "Damian's losing clean, right?"  Well, I was wrong. The match ended via a DQ due to an attack from Sheamus aka the man that was once called "the great white".  Priest got some help from Drew McIntyre. With McIntyre, Sheamus and Bobby Lashley being in the same segment, it's almost like a blast from the past if you're a zoomer that thinks 6 months ago is like 10 years ago (moi).  Of course, a tag team match happened and the babyfaces won the encounter with the claymore to Sheamus. I wasn't offended watching all of this unfold and I feel like that's asking too much from WWE...

WWE RAW 16/8/21 | A Coherent Review.

Another week, another L for the red brand in terms of overall quality. And they do not need that L considering that it's the final show before this year's SummerSlam event.  Images via WWE.com   Randal Keith Orton And Riddal Are Back Together?  Randy explained his actions last week, stating that he simply doesn't owe anyone an explanation because he's Randy Orton (okay?).  Out came the most obnoxious person in Riddle and he wanted RKBRO to reunite. Styles showed up to hype up his big goof in Omos.  That RKO last week was as confusing as the thought of Jupiter Ascending being a "good movie".    The question is, did the band realigned themselves once again?  The answer was a soft no if you stopped watching the show after the Riddle and AJ Styles match (I don't blame ANYONE that stops watching Monday Night RAW).  However, that became a solid yes after Randy's bout with Omos. Am I the only one that feels kinda mid about this?  It's not terri...

WWE RAW 9/8/21 | A Coherent Review.

I'm back and I'm not better than ever because I watch Monday Night RAW and talk about it every single week.  But, this week's edition wasn't bad, it was just kinda there.  Images via WWE.com   You Hear Voices In Your Head? It's Probably Randy Orton Coming Back (so f**king corny, Omar).  Randy Orton returned to the red brand after a several week absence which I wouldn't blame you if you thought Orton was a bald Pedro Pascal for a second.  Orton wanted to have nothing to do with Riddle (I'm sure everyone is in agreement with that statement) and Riddle wasn't too thrilled about it.  Styles showed up to challenge Randal Keith Orton to a match on this very episode and Orton accepted it which led to a bit of a brawl.  Later in the night, Orton defeated the phenomenal one in a decent encounter. And then, Riddle ate an RKO. I've said this before in my reviews and I'm saying it again. WWE HATES friendships.  As far as where this storyline goes, I legit ha...

WWE RAW 19/7/21 | A Coherent Review.

Not gonna lie, this episode of RAW was f**king bad. It did have its moments but as a whole, it was the typical Monday Night RAW content I've been watching but with fans now.  Images via WWE.com John Felix Anthony Cena Explains His Motivation Behind His WWE Return.  The reason why the former 16-time world champion came back to world wrestling entertainment is quite simple.  He wants the blue belt that Roman Reigns is currently holding.  Why? Because according to Jacob Toretto, Roman Reigns is a piece of sh*te. Side note, Cena will be on Smackdown this week to confront the tribal chief so there's that.   I ain't mad that Cena showed up to RAW instead of Smackdown to air his motivations since the gut wasn't part of last year's draft. This current iteration of Roman Reigns vs John Cena is a dream match that somehow feels like it was leading to that big destination and not a random face that WWE wants to put against the universal champion.  Overall it was s...

WWE RAW 12/7/21 | A Coherent Review.

This week's Monday Night RAW episode marks the end of the Thunderdome as we know it. I'm not gonna lie, when I think of the "Thunderdome era", I think of two things.  Roman Reigns and the worst series of episodes of Monday Night RAW I've ever covered on this very site. I'm sure that once the episodes will be conducted in a live setting again, the red brand will be so much better to digest, right?  Maybe according to Pete Roseburg but not me, I'll tell ya that much!  This week's RAW had its usual mediocre and predictable setting with a few highlights.  Images via WWE.com   Bobby Lashley vs Xavier Woods.  Not as solid as their Hell In A Cell match encounter a few weeks back but it's fine, I guess.  Woods pulled an inside cradle to win the match clean as a whistle. Making your champ lose a week before a PPV is pretty lame in most cases but seeing the final segment of the night, kinda enhanced the storyline Or, they might "plant the seeds" fo...

WWE RAW 5/7/21 | A Coherent Review.

The build for the Money In The Bank show continues as the red brand is surprisingly delivering a decent job at it so far.  The question is, did this episode continue its solid build towards the next PPV or nah? Not really.  While the episode was as a whole, pretty average. It does have its highlights and here's why.  Images via WWE.com   The Miz. Special Guests, Feels like Everybody. This segment was basically The Miz and John Morrison being interfered by Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles (along with Omos) and the piece of dogsh*te himself, Riddle.  Riddle was sitting on top of the ladder throughout the entire segment just talking about getting high or something to which Omos and later AJ Styles, further damaged Riddle's knee.  This opening act was as basic as it gets. Ricochet's mic presence is so mediocre, he makes Dana Carvey look like an Oscar contender in the process.  It was just one long "meh" that feels like I'm going through the motions....
