My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Rhea Ripley Challenges Shayna Baszler, Chris Jericho Celebration.

The black and gold brand and it's competitor (AEW Dynamite) were both okay. Not terrible and had a few highlights but overall, the shows were just fine.  NXT  Highlights. Keith Lee And Dominic Djakovic vs The Undisputed Era In Kyle O'Reilly And Bobby Fish.  Fish suffered an injury during this tag team bout so instead Roderick Strong, the team player he is, replaced Fish's role in this match. Djakovic at one point delivered a suplex to Keith Lee on to the rest of Undisputed Era.  O'Reilly's submission was countered by Dominic with a powerbomb while hitting a chokeslam to Strong at the same time. Djakovic with a beat-up leg, delivered a 450 on to Strong and O'Reilly outside the ring.  Cole was about to interject himself but Lee quickly threw him onto the crowd area meanwhile,  Strong and O'Reilly hits the high-low to Dominic Djakovic and the champions are still champions. A very good match. That throw from Lee to Cole was just…. Wow.

Peanut Butter Falcon Movie Review.

Ludacris once said, "I got movies. I got movies. In different cabinets." (if that isn't the most outdated thing I've said. I believe there's a word for it). He didn't actually say that but what I was trying to convey with my awful joke is that I love movies. So much so that I reviewed Fighting With My Family earlier this year.  I don't review a lot of movies, considering that I'm sticking to my niche that is pro wrestling but when a movie does have wrestling in them, I might give my thoughts on it.  Anywho, the film tells a story about a young person with down syndrome named Zak (played by Zack Gottsagen) and had aspirations of becoming a pro wrestler after watching very old videos of a wrestler he looks up to known as The SaltWater Redneck (played by Thomas Haden Church).  He lived in a nursing home being taken care of by Eleanor (played by Dakota Johnson) and eventually escaped that place in order for Zak to stop by at SaltWater Redneck'

WWE RAW 25/11/19 | My Coherent Review.

To put it simply, this episode was great with one thing to nitpick but again, a very good effort by WWE.  Seth Rollins Has An In-Ring Meeting With The Rest of RAW.  Rollins talked about RAW taking an L last night at Survivor Series and he wanted to bring up anybody that can speak up as to why RAW lost. Each RAW superstar slowly walks away and Kevin Owens showed up from behind.  Rollins passionately talked about his love for Monday Night RAW to which Owens stunned him with the stunner. After that, Seth challenged him to a match later that night in his short backstage interview with Charly Caruso. Let's just say that Seth is officially a heel right?  Bobby Lashley vs Titus O'Neil.  The match ended in a DQ because Rusev ran to the ring and beat the crap out of Lashley even when he was handcuffed and the reason for Rusev's arrest is because Lana put a restraining order on Rusev. Meh.  AOP vs Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. The Authors Of Pain rocking their

WWE Survivor Series 2019 | My Coherent Review.

The Survivor Series shows as of a few years has gotten better in terms of overall positives and I thought that this year will be no exception. It pains me to say this but the 2019 edition of Survivor Series was just okay. A few highlights but overall, not an offensive 3 ½ hours of wrestling to watch, to say the least. Oh, and I haven't seen the pre-show matches so I can't talk about it.  Team RAW In Kabuki Warriors, Charlotte Flair, Natalya And Sarah Logan vs Team Smackdown In Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke, Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans And Sasha Banks vs Team NXT In Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, Io Shirai And Toni Storm. Women's Survivor Series Match.  Io Shirai and Kairi Sane delivered some quick moves earlier in the match. Brooke delivered an impressive rolling Senton to Shirai. Given that LeRae and Io were hurt, they were both eliminated. Bianca Belair got rid of two women.  One, it was Nikki Cross with a roll-up and the other was Sarah Logan with a 450 s

NXT Takeover: Wargames 2019 | My Coherent Review.

It's a Takeover show so if you're expecting greatness then you are not disappointed. Out of all Takeover shows this year, this one was the best one and that is no knock on the 4 other shows that happened this year. I just prefer this one that's all.  The pre-show match between Isiah Scott and Angel Garza was decent. I'm really becoming a fan of Garza. He's just flawless at what he does.  Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai And Candice LeRae vs Shayna Baszler, Bianca Belair, Kay Lee Ray And Io Shairi. War Games match.  Dakota Kai replaces Mia Yim due to a backstage attack to Yim before the main show started and that played a role in the match. I'll tell you why in a bit. Candice LeRae and Io Shirai started off the first war games match of the evening and they wasted no time to hit each other.  Bianca Belair was up next and LeRae had to deal with a 2 on 1 mugging but Candice got some back up as soon as Ripley had her turn to enter the cage. It was no

The 5 News Week: WWE Comes Back To MSG In 2020, An Update On Aliyah's Injury.

A rare Saturday edition of 5 news week but if you're new here, I publish this weekly news article every Sunday and the format goes like this. I report on 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately and I put them in one post. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. An Update On Aliyah's Injury.  Aliyah's heel persona is something I'm really warming up to. Unfortunately, Aliyah is taking time off due to her nose being broken but that kick from Xia Li to Aliyah's face last week on NXT TV was a work at least according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio earlier this week.  Meltzer mentioned that the spot from Li was done to explain Aliyah's absence inside the square circle and the reason why Aliyah is taking an absence is that she's getting surgery on her nose. Wishing her a speedy recovery.  Jimmy Havoc Fined For Using A Staple Gun.  On this past week's episode of Dynamite, we saw Jimmy Havoc u

WWE Smackdown 22/11/19 | My Coherent Review.

I'm not a fan of the Smackdown on Fox episodes so far except one which was the NXT Invasion episode but this episode was really good thanks to you guessed it, the invasion between all brands.  Will see how SmackDown does creatively following Survivor Series and beyond. Hoping that the shows after this are not a snooze fest.  Smackdown Prepare Their One Last Brawl With RAW And NXT.  The show opened with Roman Reigns giving his Smackdown troops some motivation few days before Survivor Series.  Sasha Banks as Smackdown team captain for the women's 5 on 5 on 5 tag team traditional Survivor Series match, brought her team members to the ring and called out RAW.  Smackdown got their wish and Team RAW showed up and Charlotte challenged Sasha to a match for old times sake.  Team NXT entered the house that AJ Styles built in Smackdown and Rhea Ripley wanted this match to be a triple threat match between herself, Banks and Flair and that's the opening match
