 The Coherent AEW recap. The only series where the word "consistency" is the equivalent of saying bloody Mary 3 times. And look guys, both AEW shows weren't all that bad aka a typical Tuesday.  Rampage.  Highlights.  Private Party vs Lucha Bros.  Oh, you know this match had a lot of SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS (in the taking some punches kinda way and not in the sense of drinking alcohol because I'm a halal boy).  The match was a little too short for my liking but it was sweeter than a peach-flavoured iced tea. Lucha Bros took the W here which means more rankings.  Some Other Things That Happened.  House of Black defeated the Dark Order's John Silver and Alex Reynolds - Something tells me that AEW needs a trios championship (no f**king sh*t, Omar).  Statlander and Athena defeated Renegade Twins - At least Athena's WWE main roster run included a several-month undefeated streak on RAW.  I know my 4 viewers, I haven't posted anything in over a week and that's because ya boy was under the weather (not Covid related thankfully).  But, the content never stops no matter how many pieces I've posted that include fart jokes straight out of master of disguise.  With that being said, here are a few thoughts, I guess?  Brief Thoughts On The Forbidden Door.  Yea. You read the headline right. Forbidden Door is Wrestlemania 2000 with thigh slaps.  What do I mean by that? Well, the main critique (or nitpick I should say) I have for this show (despite being a very good one), is that they were a LOT of multi-person matches and counting how many singles matches were there by two hands is as hard as pronouncing whatever the hell this word is  (Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch).  Like I said, I really had a good time with Forbidden Door, I just wished there was a little bit more variety in match types.  (Also) Brief T...

It's Friday. You know what that means. An AEW recap series that comes out as consistent as Vince McMahon's creative vision. You know what's consistent? How enjoyable Rampage and Dynamite are for the most part.  Rampage.  Highlights.  Get Well Soon CM Punk.  Headline spitting facts here. The fact that it's a match elimination series of a battle Royal then a one-on-one match then another one-on-one match at Forbidden Door and not a full-fledged tournament was the right choice considering how common tournaments are in AEW (also, please, let Adam Cole be the interim champion).  The Young Bucks vs The Lucha Bros.  Anything with the Bucks and Lucha Bros will always make me utter the word "Pog" like a typical Twitch chatter that has nothing going for themselves.  Unlike their encounter at last year's All Out PPV, The Young Bucks stood tall against the former tag team champions.  Some Other Things That Happened.  Kiera Hogan lost to Athena - I guess...

Ever since I saw that Monday was the day that AEW Double Or Nothing was happening, I knew I wouldn't be able to review a 4-hour show due to the fact this thing called "productivity" kept me occupied.  While the PPV was good, it's just way too long. Oh, and this episode of Dynamite was also pretty good.  Summer Of Punk Is Back.  The difference is that he's not going to lose to some guy named Paul Levesque.  The new AEW champion teamed up with FTR to face Max Caster and the a** men.  And of course, their a** wasn't enough to win the match as they lost to a finish formerly known as the shatter machine.  A decent but surprisingly short opener considering how that company loves their matches to be Stranger Things episode 9 levels long.  The segment didn't end here as NJPW legend Hiroshi Tanahashi appeared on Dynamite and pointed at the world title belt.  Let's freaking go, boyz.  Fans Went From Saying, "F**K YOU MAX!" AEW delivered a solid, enjoyable week of programming which that statement alone is as predictable as a distraction finish.  Rampage.  Highlights.  HOOK Said Something.  I know it's weird that a piece of dialogue is the only highlight of this episode but considering that Hook hasn't uttered a single word and his intimidation factor, made this scene pretty memorable.  Some Other Things That Happened.  Tomohiro Ishi lost to Adam Cole In The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament - Not gonna lie, seeing two performers from two different brands while Orange Cassidy and Rocky Romero were roaming around ringside felt like I was watching gameplay of WWE 2k because of how random this entire thing was.  Jade Cargill retained the TBS championship against Maria Shafir - that one-legged pin from Cargill into a leg bar from Shafir was *chef's kiss*.  Lance Archer DESTROYED Serpentico - Somebody check on Luther because his friend is getting destroyed and I'm not sure...

Sorry for not covering AEW for *looks at the archives* Since what it feels like the year 1456 AD.  Enough of the lame jokes and excuses, how did AEW do this week? Other than Wheeler Yuta stealing the show on the latest episode of Rampage, THE elite brand simply didn't deliver elite content. It was just kinda okay.  Rampage.  Highlights.  YUTAAAAAAAAAA!  We're not even in the middle of the month and already, we got a match of the year candidate. Wheeler walked out of this match as a legit main eventer that could possibly compete for the world title which I wouldn't mind.  It was so good, Moxley's mentor, William Regal shook Wheeler's hand out of respect (uh, I'd wash my hands faster than Wally West if I was Regal).  Sammy Guevara Nas Level ETHERED Dan Lambert's Misogyny And Wants That TNT Championship Too.  Based Sammy Guevara.  Oh, and Ethan Page can cut it both in promos and in m…..…………… (bro, it's Ramadan).  Some Other Things That Happ...

Since this past week's Rampage episode is a go-home show for Revolution (aka an anarchist's favourite word besides the concept of not showering), imma just review Dynamite solely. And how was Dynoomitte!?  To the shock of no one besides that antismark, it was a pretty darn good show.  Inner Circle 2.0 This opening segment went from Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston respecting each other to turning on Kingston as well as Santana and Ortiz to form an Inner Circle 2.0 with Daniel Garcia, the former Ever-Rise and Jack no Swag.  But what made this segment so special to me wasn't Chris' millionth heel turn but rather Eddie Kingston's promo. The way he tied his dialogue with his article was SO F**KING GOOD!  That man will always be a gem.  Hangman Page defeated Dante Martin For AEW Title To Which…………..  Out came Adam Cole and he basically did the "loss wasn't fair" cliche and challenged him to a 6 man tag team match, playas for next week's episode.  Later ...

For the third week in a row, I haven't reviewed a RAW episode while I'm recapping AEW. Does this mean that I'm now, THE AEW Shill!?  To my 1 viewer who's concerned (thanks Mom), the RAW reviews will be back with more bad comedy material than ever.  Rampage.  Highlights.  The Young Bucks vs Trent Barreta And Rocky Romero.  This match rocked harder than a Trust Company song. What a darn opener this was.  Trent went suplex city on the Jackson brothers with the amount of German suplexes being delivered.  Unfortunately for the best friends, The Young Bucks stood tall in this opening contest with a double knee strike on Ricky Romero.  Oh, and Jay White is here.   IT'S TIME FOR SOME RAMPAGE USING THE DYNAMITE!  I tried being clever with the intros y'all. Another thing that isn't all that clever to mention I guess is that both episodes were pretty underwhelming in that they didn't do much for me other than point out, "at least there wasn't a bunch of rematches I've seen way too many times." Let me describe my feelings toward both episodes in a short rap song so bad, it might as well have come out of Max Caster's mouth.  Yo, yo, this sh*t is so lame, I don't know who else to blame (TOONYYYYY!).
