WWE Smackdown Live 24/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown live was once again, a good show that did its job to build some hype for WWE super showdown. Now usually on my reviews, I give my thoughts on what's good, what's ok and what bad. However, I'm only gonna tell you what's good and what's ok for this review because I didn't find anything bad about this episode. Now let's talk wrestling, shall we?  WHAT'S GOOD The opening segment   Man, this opening segment was entertaining and I believe this is the first time since 2011 that R Truth has been featured a lot on WWE television. Look, I know some people who find the five-second dance break cringeworthy but I thought that was funny. That segment led to a match between The Miz and R Truth and if want to know my thoughts on the match itself then look below.  Rusev calls out Aiden English   Basically, this segment goes like this. Rusev calls out Aiden to explain himself for his actions last week. Aiden then comes out to the ring and h

My Thoughts on Brie Botching The Yes Kicks.

I didn't talk about this on my RAW review ( which you can click here ) but It is worth Its own editorial. If you're living under a huge rock, there was a six-woman tag match between Natalya and the Bella twins vs the Riott Squad. During the match, Brie hit the yes kicks to Liv Morgan that looked stiff as hell that gave Morgan a concussion. Shortly after that, Brie had tweeted about this and here's what she had to say.  My thoughts on it? I do think that she had no and I repeat NO intentions of injuring this poor woman and I do understand that being away from the ring for a longer period of time can make a wrestler sloppy and botch certain moves.  However, this is not the first time she's been sloppy in the ring. Two instances that come to mind such as when she botched her suicide dive twice and when she kicked Zelina Vega's face pretty hard on an episode of Smackdown Live the very next night.  Now look, accidents happen especially when you're

WWE RAW 24/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was  a mediocre show that had me entertained at few parts of the show. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.  WHAT'S GOOD The opening segment   The reason why I liked the opening segment is that when Dolph Ziggler talked about how Dean became WWE champion all by himself, I knew where they were heading with this. There was a laugh out loud moment when The shield got a standing ovation and as soon as Roman opened his mouth, he got booed outta building.     Dolph Ziggler and Drew Mcintyre vs The Revival for the RAW tag team championship So, I'm gonna assume that the revival are babyfaces now?  Anyways, this was a very good match. At one point, The revival did a tag team manoeuvre to Ziggler that almost got them the W but sadly they didn't because Dolph and Drew wins this match with the zig-zag, claymore finish to Dash Wilder. This is a great example as to why tag team wrestling on the mai

WWE Mae Young Classic S02 E03 | My Coherent Review.

Hello my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to my coherent review for episode 3 of the Mae Young classic tournament and this is a good solid hour of hard-hitting action and here's why.  Kaitlyn vs Kavita Devi This was more of a showcase for those who are not familiar with Kaitlyn as a wrestler but my god she was kinda vicious in the ring. Kavita however, I just don't see the appeal from her yet but I hope I'm wrong. Kaitlyn wins with a spear and by the way, her spear is better than Charlotte's spear and Roman Reigns' spear combined.  Toni Storm vs Jinny  Man, I love me some Toni Storm but Jinny's character as a fashionista is rather intriguing.  The match itself was pretty good. There was a point in the match where Jinny crawled under Toni Storm and she turns it into a submission which looked amazing by the way.  The match ends with Storm hitting a brutal looking German suplex and then hit the storm zero finish to win this match.  Karen Q vs X

WWE Smackdown Live 18/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown live was a good show that did its job to build some hype for WWE super showdown. Now usually on my reviews, I give my thoughts on what's good, what's ok and what bad. However, I'm only gonna tell you what's good and what's ok for this review because I didn't find anything bad about this episode. Now, here we go.  WHAT'S GOOD   AJ Styles vs Andrade Cien Almas  Man, what a good match. One of my favourites moments from that match was when Andrade hit the stomp to AJ on the ring apron. The match ends with Almas going for the hammerlock DDT and AJ reversed it into a jackknife hold pin and turned it into a styles clash to win this match.  After the match, Samoa Joe outta nowhere attacked AJ and Samoa Joe tried to hit AJ on the steel steps but AJ reversed that and instead hit joe on the steel steps. Joe then put his thumb on AJ's eyes and ran away to the crowd. I don't mind almas losing because he looked good in defeat and I hope

WWE RAW 17/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was a mediocre show that had some redeeming qualities but for the most part again, it was a mediocre show. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.  WHAT'S GOOD Dean Ambrose vs Drew McIntyre   Good match. It was surprisingly hard hitting in my opinion but there was a dumb babyface moment where dean jumped from a ring post and Drew reversed it and instead Dean hit himself on the barricade. After that, Drew hit the claymore kick and wins the match.  The opening segment  Overall, the segment was pretty good but the most interesting thing I've noticed in this segment was Roman Reigns' promo before Strowman showed up. In my opinion, he has come a LONG way in terms of mic skills. Don't get me wrong he's not "the best talker in WWE right now" but he has improved a lot. But that didn't stop me from thinking that the main event of that show was boring as hell. Lio rush.

WWE Hell In A Cell 2018 | My Coherent Review.

Hello my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to my coherent review for hell in a cell. Was this PPV straight hot garbage? (see what I just did there). The answer is no. This is the BEST main roster PPV of the year so far other than the ending and here's why. Preshow Match: The New Day (c) vs Rusev Day This was an entertaining match. One of my favourites moments of that match was when Kofi did a dive and rusev reversed it into an enziguri of some sort which looked amazing by the way. The match ends with Kofi hitting the trouble in paradise to Aiden English and wins this match and retain the titles. They're teasing a possible break up with rusev and Aiden English for weeks now I think and all I can say is insert sad emoji.  Main Show: Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton  First off, I've noticed that Jeff is rocking his old wrestling gear when he was part of the Hardy Boyz with Matt Hardy and I would like to thank Matt for giving us a career to remember.
