WWE RAW 24/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was a mediocre show that had me entertained at few parts of the show. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.

WHAT'S GOOD

The opening segment The Monster Among Men promises to take Reigns’ Universal Championship, and he claims The Shield will soon implode.

The reason why I liked the opening segment is that when Dolph Ziggler talked about how Dean became WWE champion all by himself, I knew where they were heading with this. There was a laugh out loud moment when The shield got a standing ovation and as soon as Roman opened his mouth, he got booed outta building.

So, I'm gonna assume that the revival are babyfaces now?  Anyways, this was a very good match. At one point, The revival did a tag team manoeuvre to Ziggler that almost got them the W but sadly they didn't because Dolph and Drew wins this match with the zig-zag, claymore finish to Dash Wilder. This is a great example as to why tag team wrestling on the main roster can be a must-see commodity.

WHAT'S OK

Finn Balor vs Jinder Mahal WWE Photo

This match was a way to promote their mixed tag match immediately after smackdown live and now thinking about it, 2018 is the year of mixed tag matches. The crowd, however, ate that match up. Balor wins with a roll up. After the match, Mahal was kinda beating Sunil Singh and then Mahal does his meditation thing. Whatever.

The Riott Squad vs The Bella Twins and NatalyaWWE Photo

The first six-person tag match of the night and it was okay. The Riott Squad took a W in this with Ruby hitting the flipping axe kick to Natalya.

The Shield vs Baron Corbin and Two partners of his choosingTempers boil over as all six Superstars face off...
It turns out that Baron Corbin's tag partners were none other than the authors of pain with Dave Maverick by their side. This was a decent match that started out pretty slow. The Shield wins with Roman hitting a spear to Baron Corbin.

Dean not turning heel on RAW last night actually makes sense considering that they have a six-man tag match coming up at super showdown in Melbourne, Australia. However, it is possible that he could turn heel on that same show.

WHAT'S BAD

Chad Gable vs Connor of the Ascension WWE Photo

I don't care about this. This was a piss break match. Connor of the ascension wins with the dominator finish that Bobby Lashley used in his first run with the company. Just turn Bobby Roode heel already.

Bobby Lashley vs EliasWWE Photo
Look, I'm liking this Jak and Daxter type of relationship with Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley but that doesn't mean I like this match. This match was boring and it had the same DQ finish as last week's match. Lame.

Nia Jax vs Alicia FoxWWE Photo
This match was not only longer than it needed to be but it was also a waste of time. Nia Jax wins with the Samoan drop.

Roman Reigns Relinquishes The Universal Title Because He Has Leukemia.

I have a sad and unfortunate news to break. Two hours ago on RAW, Roman cut a great promo pretty much stating that he's been living with leukemia for over 11 years and the disease's return forced him to give up the universal championship. The segment ended with both shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins gave a group hug to Roman and did the triple shield fist pump. Ever since that, fellow WWE superstars reacted to the news on Twitter and here are the tweets so far. An amazing human being, an incredible performer & a man I’m proud to be friends with. WWE Smackdown 14/2/20 | My Coherent Review.

Last night was my 2nd anniversary of pumping out written content on this site and I thought since this show has delivered 6 or sometimes 3 out of 10s for 4 months now, I've written some lyrics about my thoughts on Smackdown in the style of the current song opening for the blue brand.  If you wanna put the instrumental version of ACDC's Are You Ready while reading this then that's cool too.  *Cue the intro* Are you Ready?  Are you ready for mediocrity! Then, get ready for disappointment.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.   Even Bischoff.  Are you ready for mediocrity! *ends with some guitar solos*.  The lyrics may suck but it is at least better than whatever the hell Justin Bieber meant when he sang his current single "Yummy".  Now, on with the review. The Return Of A Moment Of Bliss (Unlike The Return Of The Dirt Sheets, Nobody Really Cares).  Both Bliss...

Let's Talk About The White Rabbit In The Room.

I haven't reviewed last year's show mainly because it was so good and clearly as extreme as any ECW match and I'm happy to tell all 3 of y'all that this one is better by several inches or so. Why? *slaps my bald head* HERE'S WHY. The opening match between Sheamus and Gunther's crew ruled harder than the Mongolian empire.  It was basically an enhanced version of Sheamus' match with Gunther last night on Smackdown and I loved it.  The Brawling Brutes' victory means one thing that is clearly obvious, a rematch between Sheamus and Gunther for the intercontinental championship aka the only series of rematches I don't mind.  Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan delivered in what was a wrestling match equivalent to the X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.  While Bianca Belair and Bayley had their equivalent to the first Iron Man movie in that it was decent.  Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross had an okay edition of the "Meaty men slapping meat".  That spear from Edge to...
