Aliyah's heel persona is something I'm really warming up to. Unfortunately, Aliyah is taking time off due to her nose being broken but that kick from Xia Li to Aliyah's face last week on NXT TV was a work at least according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio earlier this week. Meltzer mentioned that the spot from Li was done to explain Aliyah's absence inside the square circle and the reason why Aliyah is taking an absence is that she's getting surgery on her nose.
