Some News I Guess: Who's Idea Was On Bringing Vic Joseph And Dio Maddin On Commentary?

I decided given that it's a slow news week, to give you some news that happened in the world of pro wrestling (three WWE news is not the equivalent of that but okay though). So, technically it's the 3 news week which doesn't have the same ring to it as the 5 news week.  WWE The Bump? What Is That!?  Honestly, I've asked myself the same question like a few days ago after looking a headline that says "WWE The Bump Is Coming" or something like that. To give you the full story, WWE has filed a trademark on Sept 16th called "WWE's The Bump" with a description that was given to the United States Patent And Trademark Office: " A show about professional wrestling; the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media inclu

WWE NXT 25/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

Not as great as last week's show but it was a good effort overall by NXT.  Keith Lee vs Dominic Djakovic.  A rematch from a fantastic match several weeks ago and no surprise, it was amazing. After a test of strength being implemented by both guys, Lee hits a quick crossbody.  Djakovic then delivered a chokeslam to Lee on the ring apron. Lee countered that devastating moment with an impressive one with a moonsault from the middle rope. A Canadian destroyer and a moonsault from Djakovic later and Djakovic was shocked that Keith carried him to which Lee delivered a modified jackhammer to win this match. And yes, it was a 50/50 booking but WHO. THE. HELL. CARES!? That is what I call a wrestling equivalent of a delicious entree. Dakota Kai vs Taynara.  Nice seeing Dakota Kai once again. The New Zealander won the match with GTK or the go-to kick.  The Street Profits cut a promo earlier about their tag team title match next week against the Undisputed Era an

WWE Smackdown Live 24/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

This show other than the opening segment and match, was just not interesting and I'm hoping that it's just a filler week for them so that they hammer back their creative strengths next Friday or Saturday morning where I live.  Erick Rowan Claims That "Might Is Right". Erick Rowan showed up with a killswitch engage shirt which I've not noticed it till I watched the YouTube version of this segment and he conveys to the fans that might is right (not gonna lie, that was a good line). Daniel Bryan came out and didn't buy that BS so he challenged him to a very competitive match with many near falls from the big man.  Luke Harper emerges at the end and due to his distractions, Erick Rowan delivered the iron claw which was botched but he got it with a second Iron Claw and won the match.  Roman Reigns makes the save to end a 2 on 1 beating. This is where my fickle wrestling fan side comes in (no pun intended), the mystery side of that story sucked bu

WWE RAW 23/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

I had little to no problems coming out of watching this episode. It was a very good show overall with a couple of things that I believe it wasn't offensive, to say the least.  Seth Rollins' Doesn't Fear The Fiend.  The show before the season premiere next week started off with Seth Rollins after we've witnessed the altered version of the WWE forever intro.  Seth explained in his promo about how he saw the living embodiment of a nightmare and promised the world that he will survive the destructive structure in two weeks because that's what he's going to do.  Braun Strowman came out to say that unlike Seth's opponent, the monster among men doesn't pretend to be Mr Rodgers playing around with puppets. Seth didn't like the way Braun treated him in this segment so he challenges him to a match later that night. It didn't do anything for me in terms of excitement but it was okay for what it was.  The Viking Raiders vs The O.C.

Should Wrestling Bloggers Quit Writing About Wrestling?

It's been 5 months since I wrote a piece so I apologize for that but lately, I've seen a few wrestling bloggers say that they thought of leaving the wrestling blogging world behind and I wanna address that because it's an important topic we as a community need to talk about.  I've been blogging about professional wrestling (more specifically WWE because I'm a WWE shill) for a year and a half now and one of the reasons why I do what I do on this site is that it's my form of mental therapy for me and I will always cherish that. However, not every blogger feels this way and thanks to my quote "influence", I've reached out to some of them and here are the common things I've got from them.  #1 "I'm not good enough because my work doesn't get much visitors"  I don't know if they've been writing for 2 years, 3 years but that sounds like somebody that has been blogging for that long. Anyways, if you do I get it.

The 5 News Week: Jason Jordan Injury Update, Ronda Rousey Rumoured To Play She-Hulk?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  Jason Jordan's Injury Update.   Jason Jordan has worked as a producer moments after getting neck surgery in February of last year and remained hopeful that he steps into the square circle once more.  From The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (shout out to WrestlingInc for the quotes), his career is most likely over but Jordan was reportedly "doing pretty good" back in January but he had trouble holding his fist.  He has however been doing pretty well as a producer even viewing his opinion as "high regard" according to WrestleVotes tweet back in March.  I remember at one point, liking where his character was heading towards. It's a shame that we don't get to see that conclusion considering that he is very talented in the ring.  H

WWE NXT 18/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

The first and the upcoming NXT TV episodes with an hour added to it and was it any good? Honestly, it was great. Really liked how they implemented NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live.  The only thing I could critique is that the pacing was a bit off but I'm sure that Triple H and the rest of the creative team will handle that in the near future.  There was a different intro narrated by Triple H basically putting NXT over which was great. Io Shirai vs Bianca Belair vs Mia Yim vs Candice Lerae. Winner Gets To Face Shayna Baszler For The NXT Women's Championship. Mia Yim at one point, hits the toe pay suicida (yes, I pronounced it that way sue me) Mamma Mia to most of the competitors and then, The genius of the sky does something genius in her element with a moonsault on everybody (that first line made no sense Omar, what is wrong with you?).  The match ended with a reverse hurricanrana and a springboard moonsault to become the number one contender for the NXT women'
