Playard Wrestling Post

Since this past week's news was as slow as GTA 5's load time on the Xbox 360 I decided to showcase a few news, I guess?  Solo Sikoa Possibly Joining The Bloodline!?  Apologies for that clickbait headline but I had to do what I had to do, ya know?  Why? You'll see in a bit. In an interview with Corey Graves' After The Bullsh…….. I mean After The Bell, The Usos talked about their brother possibly joining The Bloodline (from Wrestling Inc ): "Always trying to evolve,” “You’re going to get left behind or you’re going to stay in the mix. And when you get here, you either sink or swim. That’s as simple as it can get, it doesn’t matter if you’re running things down there or whatever.  When you get up here, we’re going to find out what you’re really made of.  You’re either going to crack or deliver as we do, and the sucky part about this, little brother, it’s going to be hard. We’re all big timing and then you’ve got little bro and he’s next in line.  It’s going to...

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  Roman Reigns THE PART-TIMER!?  I guess he followed John Cena's promo 5 years ago saying that he may do it part-time better than he does it full time.  At least if you believe what "mark is worse than the n-word", Dave Meltzer said on the Wrestling Observer Radio (no, I don't, Omar).  He's heard from his snitch that when discussing the tribal chief's part-time schedule, the success of the first night of this year's Wrestlemania, convinced Titan Towers that they don't need to feature their top champion on every PPV since the Peacock money is "guaranteed" (the fact that I laughed at the line, "Peacock money" should tell you how immature I am).  Kota Ibushi BREAKS UP With NJPW!? To qu...

Mad Men Wrestling Podcast , the set of shows that will host this year's draft (RAW and Smackdown for all of you slow mofos) will possibly be delayed to a month.  The draft was supposed to be conducted on the 31st of August and the 9th of September.  The possible delayed date is now either the 1st of October and the 4th of October or the 4th of October and the 8th of October.  I am not a fan of the draft that is taking place right in the middle of the Survivor Series/October PPV build.  A draft that is scheduled weeks after Wrestlemania w...

I don't know if it's Smackdown or RAW okay. All I know is that they're working on new sets."  RAW would've benefited a lot with a set redesign or a refresh compared to SmackDown because the SmackDown set was straight-up beautiful. Will see what WWE is cooking up come July.  Money In The Bank 2021 Happen...

I do have some perspectives on a few key things.  Most notably, that Cody Rhodes promo which by the way, was without exaggeration, one of the worst PROMOS I've ever witnessed as a 14 year veteran in the wrestling fandom.  The overall dialogue was an example of American imperialism and without a little or too much propaganda (while having the basic understanding of American imperialism), it exposed the very dated nature of the "America vs foreign heel" storyline.  Let's move on to the positives. Miro's booking in recent months has been exc...
