A Few News I Guess: Roman Reigns Upcoming Challengers REVEALED!?

Since this past week's news was as slow as GTA 5's load time on the Xbox 360 I decided to showcase a few news, I guess?

Solo Sikoa Possibly Joining The Bloodline!?

Apologies for that clickbait headline but I had to do what I had to do, ya know?

Why? You'll see in a bit. In an interview with Corey Graves' After The Bullsh…….. I mean After The Bell, The Usos talked about their brother possibly joining The Bloodline (from Wrestling Inc):

"Always trying to evolve,” “You’re going to get left behind or you’re going to stay in the mix. And when you get here, you either sink or swim. That’s as simple as it can get, it doesn’t matter if you’re running things down there or whatever.

When you get up here, we’re going to find out what you’re really made of.

You’re either going to crack or deliver as we do, and the sucky part about this, little brother, it’s going to be hard. We’re all big timing and then you’ve got little bro and he’s next in line.

It’s going to be hard for him, but stick to the script and we always got his back. We love him, he’s doing great down there. I can’t wait until we expand this Bloodline, and trust me Uce, we expanding deep.”

NXT Producer On Going To Film A Side Project For Late Dusty Rhodes.

NXT producer, Ryan Katz revealed during a discussion with Stu's Wrestling Podcast that he and the late Dusty Rhodes were going to launch a production company and create short films (from Post Wrestling):

"And that ‘Hippie Dog’ thing was just something he [Dusty Rhodes] always wanted to do which was just going to be our little side film production company where we went and made some side little short films under the banner of ‘Hippie Dog Productions’ and unfortunately, that’s something that never got a chance to come to fruition but the memory lives on and his legacy will live on forever and that guy is one of the most phenomenal people ever."

Hey, look. That could've been so interesting especially since Dusty is pretty creative.

Roman Reigns' Upcoming Challengers REVEALED!?

Who were Reigns' upcoming challengers? To put it briefly, Davey Boy Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the challengers for the tribal chief were Randy Orton, Riddle and Drew McIntyre at Summerslam, Money In The Bank and Clash Of The Castle.

Those plans aren't currently set in motion but there are plenty of discussions about these performers facing the leader of the Bloodline.

If the 6 man tag team match at Wrestlemania Backlash has taught me anything, it is that those challengers would've made sense as singles opponents.

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy? Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
