Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  A Brief Thoughts On Double Or Nothing 2021.  I was supposed to create a separate review for Double Or Nothing but life came into the way. Hence, why I'm briefly writing about it. Here are my key takeaways from what was a pretty entertaining PPV:  AEW should really think about the length of the show because honestly, there's no reason why a wrestling show should be 4 and a half hours bruh. I felt every single second of the 4-hour runtime.  I prefer the Stadium Stampede match over the Blood And Guts. It had the right amount of batsh*t shenanigans along with the surprising additional humour (that Konnan cameo was gold).  The women, in my opinion, STOLE THE DAMN SHOW! AEW had a big mission to accomplish ever since their announcement as a wrestling entity and that is to deliver an enjoyable and memorable PPV titled " Double Or Nothing ." That mission was successful both critically and financially.  And yet, due to the unique times, we're living in, Double Or Nothing managed to score a second W in the show's history. This was an entertaining 3 and a half hours of professional wrestling. Oh, and I've not seen the preshow match so I can't talk about it.  Frank Kazarian vs Joey Janela (replacing Rey Fenix due to an injury) vs Scorpio Sky vs Darby Allin vs Kip Sabian vs Christopher Daniels vs Orange Cassidy vs Colt Cabana vs Luchasaurus vs Brian Cage. I was supposed to post this review two hours after the show aired but my internet connection went down for several hours and I got extremely frustrated and if you’re addicted to the interwebs, that is probably the scariest thing ever other than your worst fear of course. Anyways, I, unfortunately, haven't watched the two pre-show matches because I was out working. So, the million dollar question, was AEW's Double Or Nothing a great show? I'm happy to announce that it was an outstanding PPV overall. One of the problems I had with ALL IN is the match card placements and they fixed it in this PPV.  Oh, and I'm warning you guys that this PPV review is longer than my Wrestlemania 35 review (which you can click here ) just because a lot of things happened on this show.
