My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Wardlow Shows Up, Kay Lee Ray Joins Team Shayna.

I don't know if NXT does the recap highlight video with their theme song regularly or not but I really like it and it's a great way to give newer fans of what to expect on the yellow brand.  As far as my opinions for both shows overall, I gotta give NXT the win for my favourite show of the night not that AEW wasn't bad. It was fine with a few good moments.  NXT  Highlights.  Angel Garza vs Lio Rush For The NXT Cruiserweight Championship.  Garza took off his pants in front of Rush's wife and kids which was great. However, Lio says otherwise and he almost damaged Garza's back hard with the suicide dive.  Angel then countered that with a moonsault powerslam from the top rope leading to a butterfly driver of some sort mere minutes later and Rush kicked out.  Garza tried to deliver that move from the top rope but Rush escaped and hits the final hour (which is a frog splash) and Garza survived that one.  The move Angel Garz...

AEW Full Gear 2019 | My Coherent Review.

There's an old saying of "one look is worth a thousand words". Well, this PPV held in Baltimore, Maryland is a great example of that proverb.  AEW once again has planned and executed a great show and that's all thanks to everybody that worked this PPV.  If this is your first time reading this then you'll definitely not know that I don't talk about the pre-show match not because I purposely avoid them but rather I always miss them for some reason and this show was no except.  The Young Bucks vs Santana And Ortiz.  The team from NYC locked in a double team submission (yea, you read that right) that included a camel clutch and a Boston crab. Nick Jackson then plants Santana with an elbow drop.  The Rock & Roll Express were on ringside and helped Matt Jackson go back to ring action and my goodness he did.  Matt delivered a northern lights suplex to Santana and Ortiz at the same time (the only appropriate time for a "this is ...

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Finn Balor Explains Himself, New AEW Tag Team Champions Being Crowned.

Via AEW A very decent night of wrestling is under the history books along with, a review that talks about this particular night of professional wrestling. Let's get to it.  NXT  Highlights.  Finn Balor Explains Himself.  This was rather a short promo however, it did a good job on explaining his actions last week  (which I wish that I would've talked about that heel turn last week but unfortunately, I didn't review the show).  He tells the audience that a wrestler that sits backstage and watches the shows are destined to be sitting with the fans the next day. Finn Balor then further elaborates that he's the hottest act in WWE at the moment.  Balor ends the promo warning Johnny Gargano that Johnny will go from Johnny Wrestling to Johnny Watches Wrestling which has a surprising ring to it.  Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai vs The Kabuki Warriors For The WWE Tag Team Championship And A Special Announcement.  Boy, that was...

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Djakovic vs Lee Delivers Once Again, Darby Allin Showing Off His Athleticism.

via AEW. I know technically this is the third week of NXT and AEW's Dynamite airing at the same time but it's my second week because I skipped last week's showdown due to personal reasons.  Will see how Dynamite and NXT TV did this week my coherent wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT  Highlights.  Oney Lorcan And Danny Burch vs Imperium.  This was a straight fast-paced action. So many suicide dives from Lorcan later and Lorcan, unfortunately, ate a double team manoeuvre powerbomb position into an uppercut from Imperium and they won the match. A very entertaining match, yes indeed (why does it sound like what The New Day would say?).  An Io Shirai And Rhea Ripley Stare Down. Io won her match with Kayden Carter and then, Rhea Ripley came out and told the genius of the sky that Ripley has no problem shutting Shirai's mouth. That stare down alone was great and Ripley is going to face Bianca Belair on next week's episode so I'm excited abou...

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Three Big Returns, A Great Inaugural Women's Championship Match.

If you have been a fan of this site since January, then you'll know that I've completely rebooted my review process and now, I'm doing that again.  Don't worry, the format for my RAW, Smackdown and PPV reviews will still be the same but not on Wednesdays. So, here it is, My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT The Highlights. Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle For The NXT Championship.  A match that opened this episode of the yellow brand, the original bro and the leader of The Undisputed Era tore the house down.  Whether it's Cole reversing the fireman's carry from Riddle into a backstabber, Cole hitting a Panama sunrise twice, a floating bro or the crowd chanting "Adam Cole, bro", it was a visual statement by NXT that the yellow brand is THE brand to watch.  Unfortunately,  Riddle felt short and ate the last shot but there was another highlight I wanna talk about….. Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...
