Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  The Parking Lot Brawl On AEW Dynamite Was Shot In One Take!?  This week saw a parking lot brawl on AEW Dynamite that had me thinking whether this bout belongs in the conversation of best TV matches of all time.  But, you might be surprised that the match was filmed in one take if you watch a sh*t tone of WWE or some action movies according to Tony Khan in a tweet reading….. It was all shot at once in one take. No edits other than dropping the audio on the F word. What's With The Reports Of AEW "Kicking Journalists Out Of The Post Media Scrum"?  Let's talk about this news because that is an example of how interpreting a narrative through one lens is extremely dangerous.  Last week, AEW All Out happened (click here to read my review for it) and so did the post-show scrum.  The aftermath of it saw a few publications running a story of All Elite Wrestling "removing scrum access to journalists that ask challenging questions". In the article itself, they quoted a now-deleted tweet from a Bleacher Report writer, Jonathan Snowden saying:  'They are actively removing access from people who ask any challenging questions to them.' I'm back on my BS because it's The 5 News Week where I report on the 5 major or minor news of the week hence the name "T he 5 News Week".  Sorry for the week of absence. I took a week off of social media (except YouTube) due to the sadness I felt when reading those brave women and men tell their stories about the awful, terrible experiences they've had after their interactions with notable people in the industry.  It made me question my fandom and whether I should be in the industry (wrestling media-wise) knowing that they are asshats that will take an advantage on people for no reason other than more power and control.  This week proves that the business needs to wash all the old tropes that make it harder for people to express what's really going on especially when it pertains  to serious issues like sexual assault, racism, sexism etc.  I'm hoping that those stories will lead to a sudden change in every aspect of this profession and other ...

For those wondering, yes, a new instalment of The 5 News Week will be up next week (if you're new, basically every Sunday, I report on the 5 major or minor news of the week hence the name "5 News Week").  It's just something I'm releasing given that I haven't reviewed RAW yesterday. But for now, here are a few news I guess?  NXT Japan Ain't Happening?  The Japanese wrestling scene is something I'm not all too familiar with (I mean, you're the resident WWE shill, Omar, what do you think?).  But, I've been keeping an eye on news regarding NXT's latest expansion in the land of the rising sun for several months now and trust me, there are so many reports dating back several months about this topic that will easily fill 2,000 words.
