WWE RAW 27/1/21 | A Somewhat Coherent Review.

Another week, another uninspiring and mediocre episode of Monday Night RAW.  By the way, this took place in the go-home show of the f**king Royal Rumble of all shows.  Instead of doing a full-blown review, I'm going to write a half a** review for this half a** show because half a**ing Monday Night RAW is something WWE has mastered for quite some time.  Images via WWE.com This Women's Match.  Charlotte Flair faced Shayna Baszler that ended via a DQ (such an innovative finish) because of Nia Jax.  The good guys in Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke showed up to even the odds only for Lacey Evans to involve herself in this brawl.  You know what that means? A 6 woman tag team match.  This right here tells me why this show sucks off every bit of colour it needs to produce engaging stories.  It felt like the creative had nothing for them and instead went like, "let's play out our "singles match that turned into a tag team match" cliche."  Nobody was highli...

WWE RAW 18/1/21 | A Coherent Review.

Was this episode terrible? No, but that doesn't mean it was great either.  It was in the "meh" side of things.  Images via WWE.com Randy Orton WITH A LUCHADOR MASK!?  The episode started off with Randy Orton wearing a luchador mask because Bliss burned the dude's face last week.  Orton cut a promo about fire and the Royal Rumble match.  "Somebody give this man an Oscar", said Vince McMahon probably after seeing that segment. It was an okay segment.  Lacey Evans was defending her alliance with Ric Flair in an interview with Charly Caruso (Thank God, I didn't say "relationship" instead of alliance).  Charlotte Flair vs Peyton Royce.  Despite some shenanigans between Charlotte Flair, her father Ric and Lacey Evans, the queen won the match with the figure eight and didn't let go of the hold after the match ended.  This entire angle is a no for me, guys.  Bobby Lashley stomped on Riddle's leg.   If I'm not mistaken, I've never seen ...

WWE RAW 4/1/21 | A Coherent Review.

What better way to kick off 2021 than by having Goldberg challenge THE WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble for the title, am I right?  I wanted to throw this piece of programming through the rubbish bin because this wasn't a good episode, I'll tell ya that much.  Images via WWE.com   The Racist Himself, Hulk Hogan, Started Off The Show By….  Repeating his catchphrase using smartphone and social media talk. Cool.  Miz TV. Special Guests, The New Day.   The New Day were pretty much annoying the living hell out of Miz but not John Morrison as he was engaged in the conversation. Out came Teddy Long and he was living the meme by telling Miz and Morrison that they're facing The Undertaka.  Not realizing that Undertaker ain't here, he decided to air his other well-known line.  A tag team match. This time, it features The Miz, Morrison and The New Day.  That Teddy Long bit was funny even though I can admit it was corny like most of the humour that ...
