Fastlane 2021 was…. Good? It had a disappointing start but after 2 and a half hours, I came out of watching this show with a somewhat satisfying feeling.  Oh, and I'm finally glad to see that Retribution is no more.  Images via WWE.com   Sasha Banks And Bianca Belair vs Nia Jax And Shayna Baszler For The Women's Tag Team Championship.  A match that didn't need to happen but alas. The build for the Banks and Belair bout at Wrestlemania is disappointing, to put it nicely.  The women's tag team championship wasn't needed for Banks and Belair to create some miscommunications between two opponents.  As far as the match itself, I thought it was aight.  Thanks to Banks and Belair's lack of communication, Baszler quickly pinned Banks to retain the tag belts (yay for the women's champion getting pinned).  After the match, Sasha Banks slapped Bianca Belair, calling the 2021 women's Royal Rumble match winner a "rookie".  At least the focus of the build ...

Gotta be honest, this show overall was average at best. Didn’t do all that much in terms of building hype for Wrestlemania 35 but in anything, there are exceptions of course. I'm not gonna talk about the pre-show match between The New Day, Rusev and Nakamura simply because I haven't seen it. Here we go.  The Miz and Shane McMahon vs The Usos for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship.  Minutes after the match started, the crowd at one point chanted “this is awesome” which was rather odd. That coast to coast by Shane McMahon to Jey Uso deserved a holy shit moment. The match ended with Miz hitting a frog splash and Jey Uso reversed that into a small package and won the match. A very good tag team match overall. After the match, Shane McMahon turned on the Miz by beating the crap outta Miz. I saw this coming from a mile away (get it? Mile? Fastlane?).  What's next for The Usos? Well, I would love to see a Usos vs The Hardy Boyz match at Wrestlemania but a man ca...
