WWE RAW 21/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

It's been a few weeks since I recapped the visual Nyquil that is Monday Night RAW and it didn't make me question my daily consumption so that's nice, I guess.  Paul Heyman Announces That Brocky Brock Is…….  Defending the title against Bob the lash man on March 5th at Madison Square Garden.  I don't mind a rematch since their previous encounter was decent and there's no way in Joe Pesci's universe that Bobby is taking back the big WWE belt.  The Street Profits vs Alpha Academy.  A decent tag team affair between all four talented individuals.  The academy of alphas defeated the former tag champs thanks to Otis's weight crashing down on Montez Ford which led to Chad Gable grabbing Ford's foot for the victory.  Finn Balor And Tomasso Ciampa vs Dolph Ziggler And Robert Roode.  Ciampa's theme song should be the main theme for Monday Night RAW in that no one will survive the visual atrocity that fans consume on a weekly basis.  He led his tag partner in Fi

The 5 News Week: NXT Stand And Deliver Happening HOURS Before WRESTLEMANIA!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  Jaxson Ryker On The Advice He r…….  WHO GIVES A SH*T!?  News On AEW's Talent Budget.  Everybody's got a budget, right? That includes a multi-million dollar private entity founded by a billionaire that has more announcements than Fightful Overbooked.  Dave Meltzer of wheresmypaycheckraj.com, mentioned on the Observer Radio (via WrestlingInc ) that they do have a talent budget (no sh*t) and two performers were offered a contract by the Florida men in Jacksonville but they weren't "huge deals".  If their TV deal is bigger at the start of 2024 then the company will likely sign new talent.   Elimination Chamber 2022 Quick Thoughts.  This is technically my 4th Elimination Chamber recap but it's not a full-fledged rev

THE Coherent AEW Take: NO MORE WHITE SAVOUR CODY! YAYYY!

For the third week in a row, I haven't reviewed a RAW episode while I'm recapping AEW. Does this mean that I'm now, THE AEW Shill!?  To my 1 viewer who's concerned (thanks Mom), the RAW reviews will be back with more bad comedy material than ever.  Rampage.  Highlights.  The Young Bucks vs Trent Barreta And Rocky Romero.  This match rocked harder than a Trust Company song. What a darn opener this was.  Trent went suplex city on the Jackson brothers with the amount of German suplexes being delivered.  Unfortunately for the best friends, The Young Bucks stood tall in this opening contest with a double knee strike on Ricky Romero.  Oh, and Jay White is here. Nice.  Some Other Things That Happened.  Britt Baker defeated Robyn Renegade - Eh.  My man Hook had hooked up the victory over Blake Li - The title says it all.  Jurassic Express retained the world tag belts over The Smoking Son Gunns - Woah, Woah, Woah?  Dynamite.  Highlights.  NO MORE WHITE SAVIOUR, CODY! YAYYYYY!  F

A Few News I Guess: WWE INTERESTED In Jade Cargill!?

Since this week's news is slower than my Halo Infinite multiplayer progress, I decided to showcase a few news I guess? Apollo Crews Wanting to COME BACK to NXT!?  Apollo Crews may want to show up back to the brand formerly known for its black and gold anaesthetic but if he did appear on NXT, it wouldn't take as long as Veer COMING to Monday Night RAW.  In an interview with a Spanish outlet Vicente Beltran , *in the style of his theme song* APOLLOOOOOOO was asked whether he would like to return to NXT. Here's what the Nigerian royalty had to say (from WrestlingInc ): “I would love to go there, work with some of the guys they have down there, I’m always open to anything, you know what I mean? And there’s so much talent down there that I could mix it up with and have a good time too.” Shane Royal Rumble 2022 Story Got EVEN WORSE!?  According to credible reports from the likes of Fightful Select ( from comicbook.com ) , Shane McMahon has become a naughty, naughty boy as of la

WWE Smackdown 11/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

Other than the women's championship match, this episode (as per usual) didn't do it much for ya boy.  White Ally, Vince McMahon CANCELS Sonya Deville.  Vince McMahon is protecting black women by declining not only Sonya's fine over Ronda Rousey but also ordering the WWE official to not interfere in the Smackdown women's championship bout between Naomi and Charlotte Flair.  Unfortunately, Vinnie Mac didn't say those words in person as he told Adam Pearce to read his statement but you read the title, he's still a white ally to me DAMN IT!  The New Day vs Los Lotharios.  Big E and Kofi Kingston going back to their old ways just don't feel right. We all had high hopes for the big man but WWE loves to kill momentum like a slasher horror movie.  At least the tag match was actually good. Los Lotharios picked up the W with a roll-up from Angel to Kofi Kingston.  Roman Reigns said during an interview with Michael Cole regarding Goldberg's WCW undefeated streak th

The 5 News Week: Is Rey Mysterio RETIRING!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  The IIconics SUPPOSED to APPEAR at The Women's Royal Rumble!?  Admittedly, this piece of news is a week and a half old but you may think it isn't all that bad.  Well, because of how the wrestling news cycle moves faster than an MCU Disney Plus show, this story might as well be 5,000 years old.  From Fightful Selectrinos , the current Impact knockouts tag team champions were offered to be part of this year's stinker that was the Royal Rumble show, more specifically the women's Royal Rumble match but they refused.  Mustafa Ali Has A YEAR LEFT In His CONTRACT!?  My man Mustafa Ali be begging for his WWE release like Oliver Twist (can't blame the guy, I guess).  And kinda bad news I guess for the talented performer and a

WWE Smackdown 4/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest guys, this episode didn't do it for me.  Besides the announcement of Ronda Rousey challenging Charlotte Flair for the blue women's belt at Wrestlemania as well as another challenge proposed by Goldberg aka NoBerg to the tribal chief, this, like last week's show, was as skippable as an anime filler episode.  Paul Heyman Was Like, "F**k That Brock Guy!"  Brock and Paul legit need some counselling because they've broken up and reunited together like my relationship with the Call of Duty franchise. To quote Gordon Ramsey, "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!"  All lame banter aside, Paul Heyman's promos before Goldberg's appearance was the only good thing throughout the entire show.  As far as how I feel about the idea of Goldberg facing Roman Reigns at the upcoming Elimination Chamber show, major Ls on this one.   Ricochet vs Ridge Holland.  Yay, the "one on one match that later turned into a tag match" cliche. The difference is t

THE Coherent AEW Take: AEW Kinda Lame!?

IT'S TIME FOR SOME RAMPAGE USING THE DYNAMITE!  I tried being clever with the intros y'all. Another thing that isn't all that clever to mention I guess is that both episodes were pretty underwhelming in that they didn't do much for me other than point out, "at least there wasn't a bunch of rematches I've seen way too many times." Let me describe my feelings toward both episodes in a short rap song so bad, it might as well have come out of Max Caster's mouth.  Yo, yo, this sh*t is so lame, I don't know who else to blame (TOONYYYYY!). MJF be catching Ws but not as hard as AEW (at least this week).  Rampage. Highlights.  Lee Johnson And Brock Anderson vs FTR.  Gotta say, this was pretty fun to watch. I know the commentators have mentioned it many times but Brock Anderson wrestling inside the ring is like watching his own father wrestle.  Unfortunately for Brock, FTR defeated him as well as his tag partner with the spike piledriver.  Some Other T
