The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: An Emotional And Fantastic Brodie Lee Tribute Show.

I know this is the Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays where I recap NXT and AEW Dynamite.  But, NXT was such a meh show that I had to only talk about a show that paid a great tribute to Jon Huber aka Mr Brodie Lee.  Yes, it is a cliche saying but it was everything that I wanted and more.  The show got me right in the feels, man.  Kudos to AEW for not only providing us with a great tribute show but as well as supporting Jon Huber's family.  AEW Highlights.  Pretty Much Everything. I usually write bullet point notes during a show but this one was an exception.  I put down my tablet and just watched the show without worrying about whether I wrote everything about the episode ya know?  You wanna know the highlight of the episode? Brodie Lee Jr aka -1. When he hit MJF with that kendo stick, I marked the F out man and if you guys have been a fan of mine, y'all know that I'm not a fan of the MJF character.  The opening match absolutely KICKED A**. I sometimes forget how agile Colt Ca

WWE RAW 28/12/20 | A Bit Late Coherent Review.

Before I start this review, I wanna say rest in peace to Jon Huber better known as the person behind the character of Luke Harper and Brodie Lee.  It was a tough, painful 3 days for the pro wrestling industry and I certainly felt that.  If there's one thing I've learned from the number of great stories being told by the people he has worked with is that Jon is a charming, funny and overall a fantastic human being that loves his family.  After reading the countless amount of fantastic tribute posts (including from the likes of Molly Belle of Wrestle Inn and Andrew Thompson of Post Wrestling ), that bit about Jon as a family man made me think of my current relationship with my father and the ways I'm trying to improve from my standpoint.  I know this is a cheese pizza saying but tell the people you cared about that you love 'em because that line might make their day.  So. Thank you, Jon Huber, for being the light that brightens everybody's darkness.  Now, How was the

Top 7 Best TV Wrestling Matches Of 2020.

2020 was to quote the 5 News Week Look Back article , "eventful, awful, wild and surprisingly quick."  That doesn't mean there weren't some good wrestling to watch on television so here it is.  My and I repeat MY top 5 best TV matches of 2020. some images via WWE.com #7 Cody Rhodes vs Darby Allin. AEW TNT Championship Semi-Finals Bout.  This list includes two matches that starred two people with fantastic chemistry. One of them is this gem of an encounter between Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin. All elite wrestling has introduced a brand new championship for the mid-card and was contested via a good old fashioned tournament.  The matches were fine but one of them stood out amongst the rest.  That, of course, being the Cody Rhodes vs Darby Allin bout at the tournament's semi-finals.  Allin actually pulled off a crossrhodes that looked so good that I don't mind him adding it to his arsenal.   The finish was executed a bit poorly which is why it is lower on the list.

WWE RAW 21/12/20 | A Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW was, no surprise, not very good but surprisingly, not as skippable as I thought it would be.  However, I'm sure the RAW Legends show in a few weeks will be a “can't miss” episode *major sigh*.  Images via WWE.com Charlotte Flair And Asuka Celebrate Their Tag Team Title Victory And Then……. Out came the former tag team champions in Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler and Jax pointed out Charlotte Flair's arm injury that Jax damaged 6 months back (wow, WWE actually not disregarding their continuity?).  The team that you accidentally thought that there were the tag champs for a second in Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, wanted a fight between Jax and Baszler and they got it in the form of a tag team match.  I see what WWE is doing with Charlotte Flair teaming with Asuka.  They're basically going to extend that friendship only for the queen to backstab the empress.  I'm willing to bet that Flair in the kayfabe realm, doesn't respect Asuka and only wants one thing,

WWE TLC 2020 | A Coherent Review.

Yes, this is the 4th time this year that I've taken a week off of writing for this site but to be fair, 2020 was a God damn Hellmouth!  Anyways, I thought that WWE's last PPV of 2020 was fantastic.  I had little to no expectations going into this show and I came out of watching it liking the PPV the more I thought about what I just saw for 3 hours.  As per usual, I haven't seen the 8 man tag at the pre-show so I can't tell how I feel about it.  Images via WWE.com Drew McIntyre vs AJ Styles For The WWE Championship In A Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match. The last time AJ was in a TLC match, it was actually great.  The question is, was this match even better? Yes.   During the match, McIntyre ABSOLUTELY damaged AJ's ribs with that throw on the top barricade.  Meanwhile, the phenomenal one aims to damage Drew's leg with a series of chair shots and a calf crusher using the ladder as well as a chair.  Another notable thing about this is when The Miz himself cashed i

The 5 News Week Look-Back: A Look Back At How WWE Messed Up Naomi's Push, Why WWE Hasn't Aired Content For FS1 Anymore?

For those who are new, I did 3 look back articles that spanned throughout December last year.   But, this year, I'm only gonna do one as I'm taking Sundays off for the entire month and the first few weeks of January because it is the holiday season, after all, right?  Nevertheless, we all can agree that 2020 was eventful, awful, wild and surprisingly quick.  The amount of content I can fill out about pro wrestling in 2020 is so wide, it would last months.  In any case, this is the 5 News Week look back where I look back at the 5 major and minor news of 2020 so here we go.  The 5 News Week look-back 2020 edition.  Why WWE Hasn't Aired Content For FS1 Anymore?  Other than an occasional Smackdown episode, have you guys noticed that there is barely any WWE content on FS1?  If you have then you ain't the only one.  WWE's YouTube channel specifically for content on FOX is dead other than some interviews with Ryan Satin.  T hey were airing old PPVs on FS1 that did around 1
