Apologies for avoiding talking about AEW's flagship shows this week. Luckily, my avoidance of sorts wasn't as bad as when my man Hangman Page took the blackout from Lance Archer on top of the chair.  That's a Will Smith type of pain that I just cannot handle because back pains are the worst.  I did enjoy what the elite brand had to offer this past week so let's get to it.  Rampage.  Highlights.  Adam Cole vs Trent Beretta.  I bet Cole looked at Trent's military buzz cut and said, "thank God it ain't me."  What I would bet on is this match because it's the best encounter of the entire episode.  The person calling himself "TheChugs" on Twitch, won the match with the last shot.  Some Other Things That Happened.  Shawn Spears sends a message to CM Punk - Wait, Spears' alive!?  Leyla Hirsch, Kris Statlander and Red Velvet lost to Nyla Rose, The Bunny And Penelope Ford - It doesn't include a monarch character with a bad oie bruf accen...

 I was about to talk about this week's AEW line of shows, were as mid as any Flo Rida song but then…………..YOU KNOW IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BOOM!  The Elite brand's flagship show literally made the save like the "babyface shows up to rescue their partner from a brawl" cliche.  Rampage.    Highlights.  Well, there is none as this week's show was pretty darn skippable. It was "multi-person matches with babyfaces making the save post-match".  Some Other Things That Happened.  Dan Lambert continues to be as annoying as an anti-smark on Reddit - This is the only time where I'm cheering for the white saviour, Cody Rhodes. Oh, and Sammy Guevara made the save for Rhodes against Lambert and his lackeys. The Elite guys lost to Orange Cassidy, Best Friends And Rocky Romero - That brainbuster into a double superkick from Cole and the Young Bucks was cool.  Tay Conti defeated Penelope Ford - Could've lasted a tiny bit longer but it was a decent encounter....

PAGE AND BRYAN! HOOK! HOOK! HOOK! PAGE AND BRYAN! HOOK! HOOK! HOOK!  That's it. That's the intro.  Rampage.   Highlights.  HOOOOOOOOK!  I mean, I gotta support the man himself named Hook, DUHHH!  What can I say, I like a man that is built different, quick, agile and hard……..in professional wrestling, of course.  Suffice to say, Hook does something that Kalya Braxton doesn't and that is, making all biracials proud.  FTR vs Lucha Brothers for the AEW world tag team championship Two of the best tag teams I've ever witnessed as a wrestling fan (yes, they're THAT darn good) battling it out in an opening match so banging, not even your Beats headphone can replicate it, ya feel me?  The Lucha Brothers get to walk out of this episode of Rampage still as the reigning world tag champs.  Some Other Things That Happened.  Adam Cole defeated Wheeler Yuta - Adam Cole appreciation comment.  Dynamite.  Highlights.  Hangman Page...

The Elite brand has once again delivered a solid program this week. I don't have a witty thing to say about it because I am as unfunny as Kalya Braxton's Twitter timeline.  Rampage.    Highlights.  Adam Cole And Bobby Fish vs Orange Cassidy And Wheeler Yuta. A fantastic opener is all I'll say. The team that consists of former Undisputed Era members, wins with a Falcon Arrow to Yuta.  Some Other Things That Happened.  Riho defeated Britt Baker - I guess Britt Baker got DE. FE. ATED.  Daniel Garza lost to Eddie Kingston - Chris Jericho cleaned house as he got rid of 2 point 0 following their beatdown to Kingston. Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'm so sorry that I haven't done a "Coherent AEW Take" in *checks the archives* ALMOST 2 MONTHS but I'm back and another week, another decent episode of both Rampage and Dynamite.  Rampage.  Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Matt Jackson.  Bryan Danielson. If you can't tell already, this is the first-ever article of THE Coherent AEW Take where I simply recap the two flagship shows for the elite brand.  The show named after a movie that nobody saw and the show named after a song straight outta 2010 (shout out to Taio Cruz) aka Rampage and Dynamite.  What are my overall thoughts? I had a good time watching both shows. The AEW crowd is literally the best thing about those shows.  By the way, one hour shows f'ing rules.  So, let's get into it, ya smarks.  Rampage.  Highlights.  Christian Cage Wins The Impact And The TNA Title.  What a way to kick off this show? Christian's wrestling style really mixed well with Omega which feels like, at times, they've wrestled each other many times before.
