THE Coherent AEW Take: I Ain't Tellin' You No Lie, The Hook Brings You Back

PAGE AND BRYAN! HOOK! HOOK! HOOK! PAGE AND BRYAN! HOOK! HOOK! HOOK!

That's it. That's the intro.

Rampage.

Highlights.

HOOOOOOOOK!

I mean, I gotta support the man himself named Hook, DUHHH!

What can I say, I like a man that is built different, quick, agile and hard……..in professional wrestling, of course.

Suffice to say, Hook does something that Kalya Braxton doesn't and that is, making all biracials proud.

FTR vs Lucha Brothers for the AEW world tag team championship

Two of the best tag teams I've ever witnessed as a wrestling fan (yes, they're THAT darn good) battling it out in an opening match so banging, not even your Beats headphone can replicate it, ya feel me?

The Lucha Brothers get to walk out of this episode of Rampage still as the reigning world tag champs.

Some Other Things That Happened.

Adam Cole defeated Wheeler Yuta - Adam Cole appreciation comment.

Dynamite.

Highlights.

Hangman Page vs Bryan Danielson For The AEW World Championship.

You know this match is good when it starts with a collar elbow tie-up, you know, like Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 20.

And you can definitely tell because, to quote Usher, they like it nice and slow. Obviously, the encounter did pick up and despite the hard-hitting action at the end, the match ended via a draw.

While yes, the finish sounds pretty underwhelming in concept, seeing the entire context gave me the exact opposite feeling.

Now thinking about it, the main reason why I don't mind the ending is that it aids in further character development especially for Bryan's new arrogant persona.

In other words, I smell a rematch (no f**king sh*t, Omar).

Some Other Things That Happened.

Wardlow defeated Matt Sydal - Shawn Spears gave Matt Sydal a series of chair strikes. Shawn Spears proved to us once again that he's still kinda there.

Serena Deeb lost to Hikaru Shida - A decent match is all I'll say.

MJF won the Dynamite diamond ring - Again!? Oh, and CM Punk as well as Sting and Darby Allin brawled with FTR and MJF. Eh.

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

WWE Smackdown 14/1/22 | A Coherent Review.

WOAH, WOOOOOAH *Insert drums* BURN IT DOWN *insert more drums* Don't know why I just quoted Seth Rollins' theme song. Probably because I'm bored and have nothing else better to do on a Saturday afternoon (which explains the Smackdown review).  Now, how was the show? It was aight.  The Viking Raiders vs Angel And Humberto Carrillo vs Jinder Mahal And Shank vs Mansoor And Cesaro. Winner Gets A Blue Tag Belt Opportunity.  The best part about all of this was The Usos introduction of all 4 members. Gotta say, they're pretty natural at this and wouldn't mind them doing ring announcing full time.  The only thing they should avoid is threatening somebody with WWE lawyers.  The Viking Raiders won the whole thing and all I can say is, finally! No more Viking Raiders vs Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss matches.  Why WWE Be Messing With Sami Like That!?  That "InZayn" stunt show is sad to watch. He should've been doing so much better than trying to do knockoff Jacka**...

The 5 News Week: Bret Hart. The Next Guest On Stone Cold's Broken Skull Sessions?, WWE Made How Much From YouTube!?

We're back. Well, I'm back given that I do this all by myself but in any case, The 5 News Week has returned to your feeds wherever ever it may be. In case you're new here, basically, in one article I share the 5 major or minor news of the week. Now, there were a lot of news that I've missed in 3 weeks including a story of a WWE shareholder suing WWE and Vince McMahon (how the hell didn't I report about this?).  I'm rambling on so without further useless explanations, here are the 5 News Week.  Bret Hart. The Next Guest On Stone Cold's Broken Skull Sessions? Steve Austin has interviewed some of the wrestlers he has faced over the years on his Broken Skull Sessions show with the exception of Goldberg other than a few stare downs in a feud that everyone wishes to forget.  Another person that is no stranger to the rattlesnake is the hitman himself Bret Hart and he's reportedly the next guest. From PWInsider and Mike Johnson, Bret was in the City ...
