WWE Smackdown 17/1/20 | My Coherent Review.

I thought this episode of Smackdown was fine. It wasn't boring other than one segment and it wasn't offensively horrendous in the eyes of a fan like myself either. Smackdown on FOX his improved bit by bit as of late but not drastic as I hope it would be.  Kane Announces His Role In The Royal Rumble Match.  Nothing says that WWE is now moving forward by starting off an episode with Kane. The big red machine tells his story in his record in the Royal Rumble match.  Bray Wyatt showed up via the firefly funhouse and he mentioned that he never forgot Kane while showing videos of Bray's first major feud in WWE with the big red machine almost 7 years back.  The Fiend rose from under the ring and Kane looks at Wyatt saying that he never forgets. That line from Kane was for Daniel Bryan to hit the running knee to The Fiend only for the alter ego to disappear once more.  Bryan in an interview with Kalya Braxton, challenges Bray Wyatt for the unive...

WWE Smackdown 25/10/19 | My Coherent Review.

Another disappointing episode of Friday night Smackdown but it was a bit better this week. Still, a meh episode.  Miz TV. Special Guest, Team Hulk Hogan And Team Ric Flair.  Both team Hulk Hogan and team Flair were guests on the latest edition of Miz TV or at least most of it due to a brand split. Hulk Hogan mentioned in his promo that he's put out the greatest team Hulkamania of all time (are the mega powers and Brutus Beefcake a joke to you brother?)  Ric Flair replied by basically saying that his team will beat Hogan's team at Crown Jewel. Sami Zayn made a short joke and Gable tells Zayn that he embraces who he is.  Roman Reigns called King Corbin stupid to which Hogan proposed a match in the main event of this episode between most of team Hogan vs most of team Flair in a 6 man tag team match.  Sami on behalf of the team, refused to accept that but after Hogan said something to Nakamura in Japanese, Sami told Hogan that the 6 man tag ma...

WWE Smackdown Live 17/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown Live was like Clash of Champions, okay overall. That’s it.  Oh, you wanna know why I feel this way? Okay, well here you go.  The New Day vs The Revival And Randy Orton.  This show started off with a match. A 6 man tag team match in fact which is a nice change of pace. for this show. Wish I could say the same thing about this match. Not that I have a problem with this match but rather it was okay. The match ended with Big E preventing an RKO machine and Kofi delivers the trouble in paradise to win this match but then, out came Brock Lesnar along with Paul Heyman and no, it's not a typo. Heyman said that it's a bad day for the New Day yes it is and was informed that Brock Lesnar challenges Kofi to match for the WWE title on Friday Night SmackDown premiere on FOX. Kofi accepts it and ate an F5 afterwards.  This is no pun intended, big news and Kofi has faced Lesnar before so will the outcome be the same on Friday? Will find out soon. Also, whe...

WWE Smackdown Live 10/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode was okay. Did things pretty decently (if that's a real word) as well as did things that weren't even good.  *Gong, Gong, Gong, Gong* It's The Gobbledy Gooker.   All bad jokes aside, The Undertaker kicked off this week's episode of Smackdown Live to say that he's been in WWE for 30 plus years (his run in WWE is older than most fans in this community including moi). Sami Zayn came out and he did the cliche of "a heel respects a babyface legend but he/she really doesn't" saying that Undertaker shouldn't open this episode and the future is now and the future is Sami Zayn.  Taker then passed the torch or the microphone in this case but Zayn ate a chokeslam from the Deadman. I would describe this segment as not displeasing so to put it in plain unseasoned English, it's aight.  Shane McMahon had a talk with Chad Gable in McMahon's about who's Gable facing in the King Of The Ring Semi-Finals match given that ...

WWE Smackdown Live 3/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

A pretty decent Smackdown Live episode considering that Smackdown Live has been RAW 2018: blue edition in recent weeks so I'm surprised that the episode was not terrible.  Bayley And Sasha Are Tired Of Being Humble. Well, Sasha Banks Is But Not Bayley Yet.  Bayley came out smiling as if nothing happened with some mixed reactions from the crowd. Bayley apparently doesn't get it because she's been humble with her best friend and she basically states that she's not the bad guy and never will be the bad guy (will see about that).  After Bayley talks about how Charlotte is selfish, out came the queen and she says that Charlotte is the queen of selfishness with no hugging but Sasha Banks came out before the queen was going to say about what she's going to do at Clash Of Champions.  Charlotte kicks the Smackdown women's champion and Sasha brawled with Charlotte which led to Bayley hitting Flair with a series of chair shots before Banks got her turn. ...
