Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  A quick announcement regarding The 5 News Week. Welcome to the first edition of The 5 News Week of 2021. It's been a month and a half since I updated you guys with the 5 major or minor news of the week.  So, let's get into it, shall we?  Some images via  WWE.com Monday Night RAW's Script From This Past Week Was Not Done!?  This feels like the same old song we've been hearing for what it feels like an eternity.  From PWInsider and Mike Johnson , the script for this past week's episode of RAW wasn't done even after 7 pm Eastern time hit with only "outlines for hours two and three are (were) done".  The reason why the script wasn't finalized this time around?  Well, it was due to Drew McIntyre testing positive for Covid. This a piece of news that isn't avoidable  (yea, no sh*t, Omar).  After the news broke out that Zelina Vega was released from world wrestling entertainment , there were reports of WWE's reason as to why she was let go.  Dave Meltzer On Wrestling Observer Radio (From WrestlingInc ) basically said that it was either WWE or Twitch and she obviously chose Twitch due to the fact that she makes "a lot of money on Twitch".  Dave also mentioned that Vega apparently "failed to comply with the third party edict handed out by WWE last month" by opening an Only Fans earlier in the month.  PWinsider noted that Vega is on the usual 90 day no-compete clause and she was informed about her...

The Recent Episode Of Monday Night Had Rewrites For What Reason?  It is not a shocker to most fans that Monday Night RAW, as well as Smackdown, gets a LOT of rewrites in their programming. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. Why Did The Sasha Banks And Asuka Match Have A Head Scratching Ending? The boss and the empress of tomorrow had a match of the night at Extreme Rules this past Sunday but the ending is a different story.  So, why did an over-complicated type of an ending like this was written into the PPV?  Well, good old Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez stated on Wrestling Observer Radio (From Cagesideseats ) that the finish was layed off like that so that the rematch (which was announced on the recent episode of Monday) will happen.  The hope for that is to "pop a number" in the ratings.  In other words, it was a reported marketing decision (no f'ing sh*t, Omar). An Update Regarding Kairi Sane Coming Back To Japan.  There were reported stories about Kairi Sane going back to Japan whether it's serving as a WWE ambassador in Japan according to Fightful select (because the company wants to open an NXT performance centre over there).  Or planning to stay with WWE for another year or so until she retires and goes back to Japan and be with her husband essentially according to Alex McCarthy of TalkSport.  Or as Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter believes, Sane wants to leave the company once her contract expires.  And now, a reputable site has a say in this story. Tokyo Sports stated that Kairi Sane is going to return to her home country but the news will be announced around SummerSlam time...
