WWE RAW 29/3/21 | A Coherent Review.

Once again, this show was mediocre as f**k.  Images via WWE.com   The Hurt Business Is No More. Why? Because WWE hates friendships. All lame jokes aside, the actual reason is that Cedric Alexander and Shelton didn't get the job done on taking out Drew McIntyre.  Alexander and Benjamin weren't too happy with Bobby's words and it led to a brawl.   Wow. It looks like Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander will go right back to not being on TV for a longer period of time. I don't like this at all!  Riddle suggested an idea to Titus O'Neil of a Wrestlemania roast to which the guy was attacked by Sheamus. Speaking of Sheamus and Riddle…… Riddle vs Sheamus.  I ain't a fan of Riddle but he and Sheamus have incredible chemistry because this match was fun. Sheamus pinned the US champion.  After the match, Riddle pushed Sheamus to the outside. I smell a rematch happening at Wrestlemania.  Shane McMahon Calls Braun Strowman Dumb By Bringing up Strowman's Fifth Grade Repo

The "So Bad, It's Good" Matches To Watch.

Guilty pleasures. We all have em. Consuming your favourite guilty pleasure content is so God damn satisfying.  And pro wrestling is of course, no different.  The upcoming matches that I talk about are matches that are not in the 5 stars conversations but rather are so bad that it's good.  (by the way, the list is in no particular order).  Let's have some fun, shall we?  Images via wwe.com #4. The Shield In Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose and Kurt Angle vs Kane, Braun Strowman, The Miz And His MizTourage. WWE TLC 2017.  Y'all remember this gem? If not, all I can say is that it was an overbooked MESS like most main event matches in the Attitude Era and I ABSOLUTELY love every single second of it.  Braun Strowman being thrown into the garbage truck is a visual metaphor of how they've booked the guy years after this match took place.  This is a PERFECT match for Kurt Angle to be in and that's mainly because it hides his eventual dwindling in-ring style due to old age of c

The 5 News Week: The NWA Champion Explains Why NWA Powerr Is Behind A Paywall.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.   Images via WWE.com Molly Holly Wasn't Interested In Coaching At The Performance Center!?  Recent WWE Hall Of Fame inductee, Molly Holly, recently spoke with the Talking Sass podcast (aka another wrestling podcast).  During the discussion, Molly revealed that she was offered to coach at the Performance Centre but she wasn't interested (from Post Wrestling ): "Yes they have [asked me to coach at the Performance Center] and I just don’t want to. It sounds terrible but I’m just — I’m so far removed from that world. I don’t want to be this like grizzled, bitter, jaded trainer who is like, I don’t know.  They need to have trainers who are passionate about pro wrestling, who love the psychology of it because you can meet certain

WWE Smackdown 26/3/21 | A Coherent Review.

This episode was great. I had no problems with the show after thinking about it.  Images via WWE.com Daniel Bryan Mentioned Roman Reigns Tapping Out At Fastlane.  Bryan started off the program by mentioning the truth which was, of course, Roman Reigns tapping out of Bryan's yes lock submission.  Daniel went on to say that in a perfect world, he would've been THE universal champion but Edge's chair shot on DB's back is what prevented that from happening.  So, the man is waiting for an answer regarding a championship opportunity that he earned.  I find it funny that Edge of all people is telling Daniel Bryan that Bryan's doing this the wrong way as if he's always done things the right way (by the way, I'm talking about Edge the character, not the person).  Adam Pearce basically gave Bryan a no for an answer to which Edge came out and called Bryan a "son of a b*tch" for taking his years of hard work to get back into the ring.  The segment ended with

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Britt Baker Be SPITTING In Her Promo, Shawn Michaels On NXT.

Both episodes were so good that it was hard to pick my preferred show of the week.  So, my pick for show of the night is NXT and AEW Dynamite because why not, right?  Images via WWE.com   NXT    Highlights.  Dakota Kai And Raquel Gonzalez vs Io Shirai And Zoey Stark.  Zoey Stark being in the women's championship scene in her young NXT tenure is odd yet I don't hate it. She was in my opinion, the highlight of the match. A fun opening tag match.  Raquel led her partner Dakota Kai to victory with a modified chokeslam of some sort to which she nailed the same move to Io Shirai on the announce table.  I felt my back just by watching that spot. Tommaso Ciampa challenged Walter To A NXT UK Championship Match At Takeover: Stand And Deliver. Walter accepted the challenge and his Imperium stable gave Ciampa a 3 on 1 beating. "Is this another match you're looking forward to, Omar?" You Goddamn right!  Shawn Michaels Gave Santos Escobar And Jordan Devlin An Certain Stipulatio

WWE RAW 22/3/21 | A Coherent Review.

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW was yet again, a middle of the road type of show. Images via WWE.com   Bobby Lashley vs Sheamus.  Just like their encounter that happened last week, the match was just fine.  Cedric Alexander almost cost Bobby Lashley the match but Lashley somehow dodged a potential L.  Unfortunately for Sheamus, he didn't dodge the Full Nelson submission from Lashley as the former 4-time world champion tapped out.  The Hurt Business attacked Sheamus and out came Drew McIntyre. McIntyre showed up and took out Cedric Alexander.  McIntyre WANTED Bobby Lashley to hit him but MVP convinced Lashley to not do it.  In a backstage segment, Bobby Lashley wasn't happy with Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin trying to help the guy beat Sheamus.  MVP then wanted both guys to think about their recent performances in the ring.  All I can say is, I hope this doesn't lead to a Hurt Business break up.  The last thing WWE needs is breaking up teams (except for Retri
