The "So Bad, It's Good" Matches To Watch.

Guilty pleasures. We all have em. Consuming your favourite guilty pleasure content is so God damn satisfying.

And pro wrestling is of course, no different.

The upcoming matches that I talk about are matches that are not in the 5 stars conversations but rather are so bad that it's good.

(by the way, the list is in no particular order).

Let's have some fun, shall we?

#4. The Shield In Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose and Kurt Angle vs Kane, Braun Strowman, The Miz And His MizTourage. WWE TLC 2017.

Y'all remember this gem? If not, all I can say is that it was an overbooked MESS like most main event matches in the Attitude Era and I ABSOLUTELY love every single second of it.

Braun Strowman being thrown into the garbage truck is a visual metaphor of how they've booked the guy years after this match took place.

This is a PERFECT match for Kurt Angle to be in and that's mainly because it hides his eventual dwindling in-ring style due to old age of course.

Which is what made the mixed tag team match with himself, Ronda Rousey, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 34 all that unique.

If you love some *Woody Harrelson voice* carnage, then give this encounter a shot.

#3. Santino Marella vs Drew McIntyre In A Blind Fold Match. The January 22nd Episode of Smackdown Episode.

Before McIntyre was known as the innovator of the Claymore kick, he was an underutilized performer stuck in lower midcard purgatory which is crazy to think about now.

That doesn't mean he hasn't been part of fun yet admittedly not great matches as seen in this bout with Santino Marella on a random episode of Smackdown in a blindfold match.

Santino's usual goofiness was presented even with the blindfold on and depending on your taste in wrestling, you may or may not like that but I do.

Usually, blindfold matches bore me but this one was a few minutes worth of pure entertainment.

#2. Rebel vs Shelly Martinez On The TNA: One Night Only Knockouts Knockdown 2016.

I was an inconsistent viewer of TNA/Impact Wrestling so my knowledge of the product is pretty limited (pfft. What a WWE shill).

While doing some research for this piece, I came across this encounter and it made me laugh really f**king loud.

This match was the definition of the word, “so bad it’s good”.

Rebel's technical style was badly executed like her submission move on Shelly Martinez that looked like a standard two-leg pinfall.

That of course, led to Shelly screaming, "MY VAG! MY VAG!" and that wasn't even the funniest part.

The funniest part was when Rebel let go of the move and after the referee was asking Shelly if she tapped out, Shelly said, "no, my vag hurts".

God, that was funny. If you haven't watched this match yet, please do. It's worth the laugh.

#1. Shawn Michaels vs Hulk Hogan. Summerslam 2005.

Hulk Hogan. Shawn Michaels. Battle of the "who used backstage politics the most?"

I can't write about "guilty pleasure" matches without mentioning this gem.

The storyline going into this main event encounter sounded like they're going with a bout that isn't what we got in execution which was a match that was unintentionally comedic.

Shawn Michaels selling every inch of Hogan's offensives like a botched spot monkey was great.

And you can't forget about the colour on Hogan's face, BROTHER!

Granted, it wasn't needed but pretty much all of the matches that took place in the Ruthless Aggression era had blood in them so I can't really complain.

Oh, and #F**kHulkHogan.

What are some of the guilty pleasure matches that you would recommend? Sound off in the comments below. Follow me on Twitter @omartheplayaguy as well as the Facebook page @playardwrestlingpost. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Smackdown Live 28/8/18 | My Coherent Review.

Overall, Smackdown Live was better than RAW in terms of having a somewhat good ending. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and the bad parts about this show were none in my opinion. Without further ado, this is my coherent, honest review of this week's Smackdown Live.  WHAT'S GOOD    New day's celebration  You have the new day celebration with their interaction with booker T and the addition of the spinaroonie or the spinaroonie, in this case, was entertaining and an odd but amusing opening segment.  Daniel Bryan vs Andrade "Cien" almas   Daniel Bryan's promo with Brie Bella by his side was like the Naomi vs Billie Kay match, it was there. However, the match itself was pretty good in my opinion. That chop by almas looked brutal bro like damn. Daniel Bryan wins Via DQ by miz beating him, almas hitting the hammerlock DDT, Maryse hitting a brutal looking DDT to brie bella and then miz hitting the skull cru

WWE Smackdown 14/2/20 | My Coherent Review.

Last night was my 2nd anniversary of pumping out written content on this site and I thought since this show has delivered 6 or sometimes 3 out of 10s for 4 months now, I've written some lyrics about my thoughts on Smackdown in the style of the current song opening for the blue brand.  If you wanna put the instrumental version of ACDC's Are You Ready while reading this then that's cool too.  *Cue the intro* Are you Ready?  Are you ready for mediocrity! Then, get ready for disappointment.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.  No one needs it.   Even Bischoff.  Are you ready for mediocrity! *ends with some guitar solos*.  The lyrics may suck but it is at least better than whatever the hell Justin Bieber meant when he sang his current single "Yummy".  Now, on with the review. The Return Of A Moment Of Bliss (Unlike The Return Of The Dirt Sheets, Nobody Really Cares).  Both Bliss and Nikki Cross talked about their c

WWE RAW 6/7/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode of RAW actually made me look forward to Extreme Rules and that's something WWE doesn't do all that well in recent years. It was a great effort by the powers that be.  Dolph Ziggler Picks The Stipulation For The WWE Championship At Extreme Rules: The Horror Show.  McIntyre is waiting for Dolph Ziggler to pick the stipulation for their championship match at Extreme Rules.  Drew got his wish as Dolph Ziggler said that Drew has been stabbing people in the back and that includes the person that Ziggler brought up but not verbally, Heath Slater.  In a very emotional promo, Slater told his former 3MB mate that he was there for Drew McIntyre when Drew was fired from WWE in 2014 but the Scotsmen wasn't there for Slater when he was fired this year.  So, the one-man-band challenged him to a match and the WWE champion accepted. How was the match?  It was a squash bout. Drew wins with the claymore to which Ziggler was picking on Heath and Mc
