The yellow brand might be the multicolour brand soon. I'm curious, where are the people that don't see colour, think about this change, huh?  All lame jokes aside, this is the weekly coherent NXT review and I thought the episode was just fine.  Images via WWE.com Sarray vs Mandy Rose.  Mandy Rose looked impressive in this bout. Rose "had a broken face" and was escorted to the backstage area while the ref counted to 10.  As a result, Sarray won the match via a count-out. I wouldn't mind a rematch between those two women.  Kyle O'Reilly vs Duke Hudson.  Call me shocked but I never knew before last week or so that Duke is an Aussie. I assumed that he's a Floridian or something (did you just assume that all tanned white dudes are from Florida? That's problematic, Omar!).  Hudson tapped out of the kneebar from Kyle O'Reilly.  The next few weeks should be eye-opening given the NXT as we know it, might be dead after those taped episodes.  Depending on how NXT going forward is being presented, I may end my run of reviewing the yellow brand.  Will see what happens but for now, the question is, how was NXT this week?  I thought it was decent but it didn't blow me away either.  Images via WWE.com Cameron Grimes Celebrates His Million Dollar Championship Victory.  The title above pretty much described the gist of the opening act other than some cash was thrown around the CWC that has Grimes' face on it.  The true babyface move is to give out some actual 100 dollar bills but y'all know that WWE can't write babyfaces properly.  Overall, this was fine for what it was.  Ridge Holland vs Timothy Thatcher.  A short but solid encounter.   The leaf isn't looking too green for NXT as reports emerge that the brand is going back to filming episodes and apparently, the USA network ain't too happy with the decision. If that doesn't scream, "I'm kinda screwed" I don't know what is.  Now, Last week's episode was probably the worst NXT episode in recent memory? The question is, did the ties change this week? Not really.  It wasn't bad but at the same time, it wasn't noteworthy either (besides one particular moment). Dragonov won here (thank the lords) with an uppercut to which he calls out Walter (bro, you just wrestled a brutal match and the last thing you want is a beating. I've been enjoying NXT for the most part since the show moved its date to Tuesdays.  But, with the mass release that happened this past Saturday, the way Karrion Kross' has been written (can't forget about Dakota Kai losing to Aliyah on Main Event) and how mediocre last week's episode of NXT was, the yellow brand is getting the opposite of the word "momentum".  And this episode kinda proved my point. Should've had someone else take the pin instead but to be fair, the NXT roster was thanosed. After Kai's win, Raquel Gonzalez showed up and warned the number one contender that she'll tear Dakota apart. NXT this week was a good show. It's just that it isn't as good as the previous ones.  Images via WWE.com Samoa Joe Requested 3 Things From William Regal.  In this segment, Samoa Joe was like, "Regal, sign these 3 contracts. One, I leave NXT management. Two, I join the NXT roster once again and three, I face Karrion Kross for the NXT championship at NXT Takeover: 36".  And the GM replied with a, "fine". I mean, this is an outcome that pretty much everyone saw coming and I'm fine with it.  Joe coming back to the squared circle is probably the most intriguing part about this whole thing.  In other words, Karrion Kross is getting a demotion in officially joining the main roster after Takeover: 36. Tommaso Ciampa And Timothy Thatcher vs Pete Dunne And Oney Lorcan.  A fine match for what it was. The bad guys picked up the clean victory to which the returning Ridge Holland showed up and literally took out both Ciampa and Thatcher with a shoulder tackle like it...

Samoa Joe was like, "I want to beat the crap out of Karrion Kross" to which NXT gm Willie Man said, "Uh, no. You're not allowed to do so because Kross attacked Samoa Joe the referee and not Joe the NXT management".  After that statement from Regal,  Joe replied, "Nah. I'll find that piece of sh*te himself".  Towards the end of the show, Samoa Joe came back to the ring and called out the NXT champion.  Karrion Kross did respond via the titantron and proceeded to show a down and out Steve Regal.  Joe tried to chase the champ but Kross quickly got ...
