WWE NXT 20/7/21 | A Coherent Review.

How about the L that magician jujitsu master took last night, am I right?

Oh wait, that wasn't even mentioned other than his appearance on RAW and not the ending?

Can't say that I blame NXT for that.

This episode is really good, which is usual with the yellow brand.

Samoa Joe Calls Out Karrion Kross.

NXT is starting off hot, people!

Now, this is how the segment went. Samoa Joe was like, "I want to beat the crap out of Karrion Kross" to which NXT gm Willie Man said, "Uh, no. You're not allowed to do so because Kross attacked Samoa Joe the referee and not Joe the NXT management".

After that statement from Regal,  Joe replied, "Nah. I'll find that piece of sh*te himself".

Towards the end of the show, Samoa Joe came back to the ring and called out the NXT champion.

Karrion Kross did respond via the titantron and proceeded to show a down and out Steve Regal.

Joe tried to chase the champ but Kross quickly got away.

I was listening to Solomonster's idea of where this story is heading and he sees the narrative directing to Kross being stripped of the championship and how the rubber match between Cole and O'Reilly will be contested for the NXT championship.

Which is a move that I could definitely see happening. But, the obvious lead-in is a match between Joe and Kross in an unsanctioned encounter.

I do think that the feud doesn't need the NXT championship. The rivalry is so personal that the championship itself will be overshadowed by the sheer intensity of this storyline.

Oh, and those segments with Joe were great.

Kushida And Bobby Fish vs The Diamond Mine's Tyler Rust And Roderick Strong.

A decent bout. The good guys win with an armbar from Kushida to Tyler Rust.

Kyle O'Reilly vs Austin Theory.

A pretty fun match. O'Reilly tapped out Theory with a kneebar.

Hit Row Wasn't Having With Legado De La Fantasma's Mariachi Music.

Santos was sh*tting on Hit Row's musical performance and how Escobar will bring the North American championship with class and heritage.

Out came the stable themselves and they brawled with Legado De La Fantasma. So, overnight, Hit Row are a babyface team and I do not mind it.

Two former Lucha Underground competitors battling out for the North
American championship? I'm in!

Odyssey Jones vs Andre Chase. NXT Breakout Tournament First Round.

I'm not too keen on Andre Chase but Odyssey Jones? The dude impressed me here.

Jones advanced to the tournament.

In a sit-down interview with Wade Barret, Bronson Reed stated that he'll defeat Adam Cole next week on this very show. Looking forward to the encounter.

Imperium calls out Msk aka the heels according to the CWC crowd.

LA Knight vs Drake Maverick.

Sad to see that Maverick isn't with Killian Dain anymore but the dude did get a win thanks to this thing called a distraction finish by Cameron Grimes.

LA Knight forced Grimes to attack the winner of the encounter and attack the butler, Grimes did with regret in his eyes.

LA Knight is an a**hole. Not surprised here.

The show before the final segment with Samoa Joe and Karrion Kross, ended with two women's matches.

One was a squash win from Franky Monet. The other was a women's title match between Xia Li and Raquel Gonzalez with Gonzalez obviously retaining the championship.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Samoa Joe segments, Odyssey Jones that is all, interstable warfare between Hit Row and Legado De La Fantasma, Kyle O'Reilly vs Austin Theory.

Didn't like: Nothing bruf.

(By the way, there won't be an AEW Dynamite review tomorrow and for the foreseeable future since AEW Rampage is coming soon and I'm bringing a familiar format back specifically for AEW coverage).

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

The 5 News Week: WWE Backstage. Cancelled Or Nah?, Liv Morgan's Re-Debut Was Supposed To Be Different!?

I'm back on my BS because it's The 5 News Week where I report on the 5 major or minor news of the week hence the name "T he 5 News Week".  Sorry for the week of absence. I took a week off of social media (except YouTube) due to the sadness I felt when reading those brave women and men tell their stories about the awful, terrible experiences they've had after their interactions with notable people in the industry.  It made me question my fandom and whether I should be in the industry (wrestling media-wise) knowing that they are asshats that will take an advantage on people for no reason other than more power and control.  This week proves that the business needs to wash all the old tropes that make it harder for people to express what's really going on especially when it pertains  to serious issues like sexual assault, racism, sexism etc.  I'm hoping that those stories will lead to a sudden change in every aspect of this profession and other ...
