About

Hi there! My name is Omar and I've been a pro wrestling connoisseur for 15 plus years. I started this blog in 2018 and I have a blast writing about pro wrestling (specifically WWE and AEW because I got no time to write about everything).

I approach or at least try to, the process of talking about the medium with a movie critic like perspective.

I especially love analyzing the business by talking about the artistic side of it like the stories being told and the characters being portrayed but with a teaspoon of humour mixed in (you had to add your bad culinary skills to your writing, don't you Omar?).

If that's something you're into then do the following thing. Follow the social media profiles by clicking the navigation bar on the top right to get notified of the articles I put out.

Here is the schedule of articles I put out (that could change depending on the circumstances):

  • Sundays: The 5 News Week (or an AEW PPV review).
  • Mondays: Either a PPV review or a monthly essay/editorial.
  • Tuesdays: A Few Thoughts I Guess.
  • Wednesdays: NONE.
  • Thursdays: The Coherent AEW Take.
  • Fridays: NONE.
  • Saturdays: NONE.

On this site, I try to avoid talking about three things. Politics, beliefs and Zack Snyder movies. Until then, stay safe smarks.

The 5 News Week: WWE Ditching Full Script Promos? NXT Superstars Still Expected To Move To The Main Roster?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  NXT Superstars Still Expected To Move To The Main Roster? Although the yellow brand is much better in terms of how they approach storylines subjectively speaking, of course, it is still a developmental brand after all even though it doesn't feel like so.  I'm sure you guys have heard of reports (more specifically from post wrestling ) that a draft is coming next month and the NXT Superstars will still be called on either RAW or Smackdown hence not being treated as a third equal brand.  That is all coming from Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. I really enjoyed when the main roster guys like Tyson Kidd in 2014, Brezzago, Apollo Crews for a bit move to NXT and those moves makes that brand more legit but I and you guys should keep i...

WWE NXT Takeover: Toronto | My Coherent Review.

Another month or so, another great NXT Takeover event courtesy of the NXT creative team filled with top-notch in-ring action and storytelling. I know it feels tiresome when you heard people praise highly talk about the Takeover shows but trust me they are that good.  The Street Profits vs The Undisputed Era for the NXT Tag Team Championship. During the match, Montez Ford delivered the people's elbow after hitting a spinebuster on Bobby Fish. The match ended with a frog splash from Montez Ford and The Street Profits continues to celebrate as tag team champions.  I'm very conflicted with this decision mainly because I don't want to see more okay matches between The Forgotten Sons and Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan but I'm going to be optimistic hoping that it's not the case.  Io Shirai vs Candice Lerae.  Io's theme song is simple yet badass at the same time (no shit, Omar). The match started off with Candice rushing to the ring and brawled on the outs...

The 5 News Week: Florida Men In Government Talks About The Relationship Between WWE And The State.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 .major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. Tony Khan Wrote All Recent Episodes Of Dynamite All By Himself?  I've talked about Tony's other position as a writer for AEW on the February 16th edition of this very series and it's always interesting to read the stories involving the creative process of AEW television.  AEW's Dynamite show had recently aired its last set of filming and for the most part, they were fantastic and it's all thanks to one man, Vince Russo * stutters * I mean, Tony Khan.  From PWInsider and Mikey Johnson , The owner of AEW wrote all of the Dynamite scripts that were eventually taped in Georgia after he realized that the show was going to have a small crew because of the shut down across the country of US of A. The American nightmare himself, Cody has als...
