About

Hi there! My name is Omar and I've been a pro wrestling connoisseur for 15 plus years. I started this blog in 2018 and I have a blast writing about pro wrestling (specifically WWE and AEW because I got no time to write about everything).

I approach or at least try to, the process of talking about the medium with a movie critic like perspective.

I especially love analyzing the business by talking about the artistic side of it like the stories being told and the characters being portrayed but with a teaspoon of humour mixed in (you had to add your bad culinary skills to your writing, don't you Omar?).

If that's something you're into then do the following thing. Follow the social media profiles by clicking the navigation bar on the top right to get notified of the articles I put out.

Here is the schedule of articles I put out (that could change depending on the circumstances):

  • Sundays: The 5 News Week (or an AEW PPV review).
  • Mondays: Either a PPV review or a monthly essay/editorial.
  • Tuesdays: A Few Thoughts I Guess.
  • Wednesdays: NONE.
  • Thursdays: The Coherent AEW Take.
  • Fridays: NONE.
  • Saturdays: NONE.

On this site, I try to avoid talking about three things. Politics, beliefs and Zack Snyder movies. Until then, stay safe smarks.

WWE RAW 23/3/20 | A Coherent Review.

A good episode from the red brand. This year's road to Wrestlemania doesn't feel like it however, I will give WWE some credit for at least trying to put on a build for us to be intrigued by in a global pandemic right now. Will see how next week's go home turns put which happens to be a filmed episode.  Brock Lesnar' Advocate Gives The World A Certainty.  Paul Heyman in a promo puts over Drew McIntyre as a fighter but he warns the Scotsmen that Drew cannot beat the beast, Brock Lesnar.  Heyman also said that Lesnar will not only make the beating quick but as well as it is not going to be painless and ends the promo by saying that Drew will be like everybody else once Brock Lesnar defeats Drew McIntyre.  An effective segment to start off this episode and at least, Heyman didn't show a video package after they showed up in the ring so that's a positive right there. But, they did an identical promo video before that segment and it didn't b

WWE Smackdown Live 10/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode was okay. Did things pretty decently (if that's a real word) as well as did things that weren't even good.  *Gong, Gong, Gong, Gong* It's The Gobbledy Gooker.   All bad jokes aside, The Undertaker kicked off this week's episode of Smackdown Live to say that he's been in WWE for 30 plus years (his run in WWE is older than most fans in this community including moi). Sami Zayn came out and he did the cliche of "a heel respects a babyface legend but he/she really doesn't" saying that Undertaker shouldn't open this episode and the future is now and the future is Sami Zayn.  Taker then passed the torch or the microphone in this case but Zayn ate a chokeslam from the Deadman. I would describe this segment as not displeasing so to put it in plain unseasoned English, it's aight.  Shane McMahon had a talk with Chad Gable in McMahon's about who's Gable facing in the King Of The Ring Semi-Finals match given that

WWE RAW 10/8/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode when it's good, it is REALLY good but when it's awful, it is REALLY awful. A mixed bag of a show, to be honest. pictures via WWE.com Two Contract Signings? For the first time at least in my lifetime, there are two contract signing for the same one match. Anywho, it's for the Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio match and Samoa Joe is the moderator which by the way, he's the best one yet. Based on Seth's promo telling Mysterio's Hijo that he can use a kendo stick or anything in the toolbox, it sounds like it's a no DQ match. The best part about this engaging segment by far is Joe's promo about how Seth Rollins was a different man ever since the fans booed him. Dominik's line quote, "Seth Rollins' actions change the lives of good men for the worst" pretty much describes Seth's heel run so far and I love it. That led to a match between Humberto Carrillo and Rollins. The match was quick af. Af
