Super showdown 2020 was dull, boring and even frustrating at times. The two previous Saudi shows from last year were surprisingly okay but this was just a flavourless taste in my mouth and this is coming from the resident WWE shill. By far, the worst PPV of 2020 so far.  PRESHOW: The Viking Raiders vs The O.C. In Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson.  A skippable match that we've seen for the gazillionth time. Yay for unwanted repetition! The O.C wins. Cool.  MAIN-SHOW: AJ Styles vs. Andrade vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Erick Rowan vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio. Gauntlet Match for the Tuwaiq Trophy.  R Truth and Bobby Lashley started off this match and Truth wins via a roll-up. Lashley then attacks R Truth (like we've not seen that spot before) to which out came the second opponent of the night, the returning Andrade and the way that encounter ended was odd yet somehow not horrible.  Both men hit each other with their heads and Truth pins the guy to keep fight...

Via WWE.  Since I've not done a predictions piece in many moons and how this episode of RAW was one big meh, I thought it would've been an appropriate time to write down my predictions for the first Saudi show of the year.  Now, how was the build for Super Showdown 2020? It was 50/50. The RAW side did a decent job while the current face of the word "mediocrity", Smackdown's build was skippable at best and uninteresting at worst. Without further ado, here are the predictions.  The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) vs. The Miz and John Morrison For The SmackDown Tag Team Championship.  As much as I enjoy both tag teams, this wasn't a good build and a great example of me not caring anything on what's going on the blue brand. Hello my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to my coherent review for WWE Super Showdown and overall, WWE Super Showdown was an entertaining four hours of pro wrestling and here's why.  The New Day (c) vs The Bar for the SmackDown Live tag team championship  I do like the fact that this match opened the show but was it any good? Not really and the way it ended was weird? The match ends with Woods hitting the backstabber followed by a chest double stomp by Kofi to Cesaro and just like that, the new day wins. Decent match but not as great as the other matches they had on SmackDown Live.  Becky Lynch (c) vs Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Live women's championship  Big "Let's go Becky Lynch" chants. I've not done a predictions post since extreme rules 3 months ago the reason being is because I simply don't have time but enough with the excuses, let's go over my coherent, honest predictions for WWE super show-down.  Cedric Alexander (c) vs Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight championship To be frank with you, I've not watched a lot of 205 live but their match on the May 30th edition of 205 live was very good and this one will be no exception. However, I do think that Cedric has a lengthy title reign and what better way to take the title off of him then the hometown boy in Buddy Murphy.  WINNER: Buddy Murphy  Asuka & Naomi vs. The IIconics This is in my opinion, a throwaway match considering that the build was variations of singles matches on Smackdown.
