WWE Super Showdown | My Coherent Predictions.

I've not done a predictions post since extreme rules 3 months ago the reason being is because I simply don't have time but enough with the excuses, let's go over my coherent, honest predictions for WWE super show-down.

Cedric Alexander (c) vs Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight championship

To be frank with you, I've not watched a lot of 205 live but their match on the May 30th edition of 205 live was very good and this one will be no exception. However, I do think that Cedric has a lengthy title reign and what better way to take the title off of him then the hometown boy in Buddy Murphy.

WINNER: Buddy Murphy

Asuka & Naomi vs. The IIconics

This is in my opinion, a throwaway match considering that the build was variations of singles matches on Smackdown. Asuka hasn't felt special since she was on RAW and even on that show, they manage to book her right in my opinion which is surprising coming from a stale overall wrestling show on Monday nights. Unfortunately, I don't see the IIconics winning, mainly because Asuka and Naomi for that matter need some momentum.  In other words,...

WINNER: Asuka and Naomi

The New Day (c) vs The Bar  for the SmackDown Live tag team championship

The build has been lacklustre because like the build for the Asuka and Naomi vs The IIconics It was with the exception of that awful segment on Tuesday, variations of singles matches but they're going to give us a great match to remember given that both The New Day and The Bar are great teams. I'm not entirely surprised if The Bar takes the W and the championship.

WINNER: The Bar

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz

The build has been decent in my opinion. The addition of a number one contendership makes this match interesting. I could and wouldn't mind seeing Daniel Bryan winning or The Miz winning this match and go on to face the WWE champion but If I had to choose one, I'll pick.....

WINNER: Daniel Bryan

John Cena & Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens & Elias

Another throwaway match. However, when Elias and Kevin Owens got booed out of the building as if Roman was there was amazing.

WINNER: John Cena & Bobby Lashley

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Live women’s championship

Even though I would love to see Becky be the babyface in this, her heel work so far has been great. This storyline other than AJ Styles and Samoa Joe is the best storyline on Smackdown Live right now. The match their gonna give us will be great just like this storyline.

WINNER: Becky Lynch

Ronda Rousey & The Bella Twins vs. The Riott Squad

I honestly don't care about this match or this feud but I was creative, I would have both Nikki and Brie turn on Ronda setting up their match between Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey at Evolution for the RAW Women's Championship. However, It is highly unlikely that this scenario will happen.

WINNER: Ronda Rousey & The Bella Twins

AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe  for the WWE championship

This storyline has been going on since late July and I've been enjoying it every single minute of it. The way Smackdown Live ended last week with Samoa Joe saying "Daddy's home" was just some of the Brilliant things going on in this storyline. I see AJ is going to take the L in this so my pick is.....

WINNER: Samoa Joe

The Shield vs. Braun Strowman, Drew Mcintyre and Dolph Ziggler

I'm still not getting over with Braun's heel turn which was a dumb idea by the way. Since there's a triple threat match between Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman, I predict that the dogs of war will win this match considering that Braun needs to look dominant going into crown jewel next month.

WINNER: Braun Strowman, Drew Mcintyre and Dolph Ziggler (No shit, Omar)

Undertaker vs. Triple H

This match for me went from "I don't care" to "I'm intrigued". The build for this match has been good in my opinion and yes it is likely that we're going to get a tag team match between DX and The brothers of destruction on crown jewel next month but I hope I'm wrong. I'm going with Triple H to win this match mainly because this is not the same undertaker as like 8 years ago.

WINNER: Triple H

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The White Rabbit In The Room.

I haven't reviewed last year's show mainly because it was so good and clearly as extreme as any ECW match and I'm happy to tell all 3 of y'all that this one is better by several inches or so. Why? *slaps my bald head* HERE'S WHY. The opening match between Sheamus and Gunther's crew ruled harder than the Mongolian empire.  It was basically an enhanced version of Sheamus' match with Gunther last night on Smackdown and I loved it.  The Brawling Brutes' victory means one thing that is clearly obvious, a rematch between Sheamus and Gunther for the intercontinental championship aka the only series of rematches I don't mind.  Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan delivered in what was a wrestling match equivalent to the X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.  While Bianca Belair and Bayley had their equivalent to the first Iron Man movie in that it was decent.  Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross had an okay edition of the "Meaty men slapping meat".  That spear from Edge to...

A Few Thoughts On RAW And Smackdown: RAW wasn't GREAT!?

Since this blog will be less of a priority now considering I'm focusing on my podcast now (hit the 5 stars on Apple Podcast you sons of b*tches), I decided to share my few thoughts on RAW, Smackdown, I guess?  Smackdown.  The blue brand delivered yet another good episode this week and it's probably due to the fact that Braun Strowman taking out the Maximum Model is high-key funny as f**k.  The folks over at Titan Towers are bringing back the essence of their characters whether it's Kevin Owens, Shayna Baszler or in this case, Big Braun himself.   As a fan, you gotta love it, especially since in the case of Strowman, the dude hasn't been the same since he turned heel 4 years ago when feuding with Roman Reigns for the universal title.   Other noteworthy segments include Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns for the big world universal multiverse galactic cinematic championship.  Imagine they pulled that match off 7 years ago back when Logan was on V...
