Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.   WWE Getting A Fresh New Start For The Network.  When the WWE Network launched 5 years ago (holy crap, 5 years?), it was a blessing and it's still is to this day. Fans have already said hello to WWE's little price friend of 9.99 dollars a month (that was surprisingly not corny) and ditched the routine of buying WWE PPVs for 40 to 50 dollars (unless you're a bar owner to which I say, I feel ya).  Now, WWE has announced a fresh interface for the network that has already launched as of writing this. Here's a statement from WWE about this quote:  "WWE Network has been updated this week with a sleeker design, simpler navigation and smarter search tools to help you enjoy all of WWE’s award-winning programming". This episode of Smackdown Live was okay. Much better paced show than RAW because Smackdown doesn't have a third hour.  The showed started off with a backstage segment. What year is this? 2019 or 2002? Anyways, in it, Shane was in his office until Elias showed up and he mentioned that he will be in McMahon’s corner at Super showdown. Shane replied by also saying that he will be in Elias’ corner for his match with Roman Reigns on this very episode.  New Day Introduces Their Best friend Back.  You know who they brought up? A light-skinned version of Big E (I'm not kidding, they actually brought that guy up by accident of course). No, they introduced Big E back after weeks and weeks of sitting at home recovering.  Big E then sniffed Xavier hair and Kofi’s armpits and they were entertaining as usual in those types of segments like how Kofi joked about not taking himself seriously as champion.  This was a  night and day difference between RAW and Smackdown Live this week because that  show is by far the best episode of Smackdown Live of 2019 so far and did a great job of building hype towards the Elimination Chamber PPV. Now, on with the review.  Opening segment.  The show started off with the titantron playing the end segment of RAW last night that transitions into Charlotte's entrance which I thought was clever. Charlotte cut a promo basically saying that this is her destiny to face Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania.  She also that Vince McMahon chose the right decision. The queen ended the promo by telling Ronda Rousey good luck in her match with Ruby Riott this Sunday. I love this segment and I love the fact that she's honing her character like that. Don't turn Charlotte babyface again, please?  The IIconics vs Naomi and Carmella vs Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Loser enters first in the Elimination Chamber match.  ...

The Smackdown Live episode before the Royal Rumble was pretty good. However, it did things that I like and did one thing that I didn’t like. I will try to shorten my reviews from now on because looking at my reviews, it feels like I’m writing a mini novel.  Opening segment.  Becky Lynch was on the ring and she cut a promo basically saying that Asuka took her title without pinning her clean and Becky is confident that she will take her title back this Sunday.  Asuka then approached to the ring without saying a word until Charlotte Flair came out and basically said that she’s going to win the Rumble. That led to a sneak attack from Asuka which led to a brawl between Asuka and Becky. I get that they wanna set up a brawl between Asuka and Becky but the sneak attack made no sense to me.  Naomi vs Mandy Rose.   After the distraction, Mandy Rose pinned Naomi to the cut of three and won the match.   Smackdown Live was a very good show with most of the show focusing on the wrestling aspect which is always a plus depending on the matches of course and here's why.  Daniel Bryan Goes Insane And It’s Awesome.  The show started off with Daniel Bryan walking around the arena basically describing how people are consuming nothing but toxicity into themselves and the environment (God, I love crazy social justice Daniel Bryan). Then outta nowhere, R Truth jumped on Bryan and put the mugging out of him which led to a match between R Truth and Daniel Bryan. Speaking of which……………… Daniel Bryan vs R Truth.  This was a quick one. Truth was going for a splash on the turnbuckle but Daniel reversed that and hits him with the running knee to win this match. As Daniel was leaving the stage area, AJ came out and hits him with straight right hands to Daniel Bryan until security was able to separate Styles.  Rey Mysterio and Mustafa Ali vs And...

Whether RAW, Smackdown Live, 205 Live or NXT were enjoyable or not in 2018, those shows did gave us some of the best matches on free TV and I’m gonna rank 7 of the best WWE TV matches. Keep in mind that this countdown is based on opinions only.  7. Rey Mysterio vs Andrade “Cien” Almas | Smackdown Live Nov. 6th Episode.  Even though Rey Mysterio right now has been doing alright since returning and staying on the Smackdown Live roster permanently two months ago, there’s no denying that he still can deliver a classic and this one was no exception.  Andrade however, hasn’t been in a major feud for several months now but that doesn’t mean that when he is on a match, he can’t give us a classic either.  Great spots and near falls, this match could do no wrong except the finish and that’s why this match was lower on the list. Let’s hope that 2019 is Andrade’s year to shine.  6. The New Day vs The Bar and The Miz | S mackdown Live May 29th Episode. ...

Smackdown live was overall an okay show. Could've been better in my opinion. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Let discuss wrestling shall we?  WHAT'S GOOD  Becky Lynch's Promo  That was great and she carried herself pretty well in this. She basically said that her hard work and her moment was stolen by Charlotte and the fans thinks of becky as an afterthought.  Charlotte's music hit and she stormed into the ring and they both beat the crap outta of each other. If there's one person that's an afterthought, it's asuka. I don't know of that has to do with anything but it is what it is. Samoa joe's psychological warfare part II. There was a interview with AJ conducted by renee young and it ended quickly because samoa joe came outta nowhere and choked out AJ, pointed at the camera and shouted AJ's wife's name "OH WENDYYYY!". Smackdown live was a decent show that has it's problems but again a decent show nevertheless. Why you ask? Well i'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Let's discuss wrestling shall we? WHAT'S GOOD The Miz's "Funeral" segment Started odd but ended pretty great. He shitted all over daniel bryan which is typical but awesome miz and i liked the fact that the funeral symbolizes how the reunion of daniel bryan and kane was dead within few weeks. Hence the funeral itself which i thought it was clever in my opinion. Great stuff by the miz.  AJ styles vs Andrade "Cien" Almas This was a damn good match. I could watch these guys wrestle all day and i hope the rematch will have a stake or a sense of importance like challenging for the WWE championship or something in the future.
