WWE Smackdown Live 21/5/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode of Smackdown Live was okay. Much better paced show than RAW because Smackdown doesn't have a third hour.

The showed started off with a backstage segment. What year is this? 2019 or 2002? Anyways, in it, Shane was in his office until Elias showed up and he mentioned that he will be in McMahon’s corner at Super showdown. Shane replied by also saying that he will be in Elias’ corner for his match with Roman Reigns on this very episode.

New Day Introduces Their Best friend Back.

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods kick off SmackDown LIVE!
You know who they brought up? A light-skinned version of Big E (I'm not kidding, they actually brought that guy up by accident of course). No, they introduced Big E back after weeks and weeks of sitting at home recovering.

Big E then sniffed Xavier hair and Kofi’s armpits and they were entertaining as usual in those types of segments like how Kofi joked about not taking himself seriously as champion. Out came Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and Zayn basically said that he didn't get anything when he was out for 9 months to which Big E said that he will get what Kevin Owens got at Money In The Bank and that's nothing.

Sami also said that Kofi’s night wouldn't end in fun and Kofi countered back by saying that he will throw down when's it all set and done. This was aight. Nothing really memorable other than New Day's banter.

After that, Carmella was looking for R Truth until she found him with a white coloured wing and she told him to hide somewhere else.

Andrade vs Ali.

Decent match but if given more time, they could deliver a great match (No shit, Omar). Andrade was aiming at Ali's back and was almost successful at putting him down but he lost with a small package from Ali.

I mean, Andrade should've won the match considering that he's a title match coming up in a few weeks.

Mandy Rose vs Carmella.

Carmella came out with a pimped out version of R Truth and she brought up a good point earlier about how he should've not been on this show because of obvious reasons like how he's a 24/7 championship. Her point was proven because the entire superstars and referees stormed to the ring and both Truth and Carmella ran as fast as possible.

Kayla Braxton interviewed Bayley about her big moment at Money In The Bank and asked her about what the competitors need to know about Bayley? She replied by saying that she hopes for the superstars to bring their best.

Kofi Kingston vs Sami Zayn.

Before the match happened, Big E was sitting on the ground along with refs, the medical team and Xavier Woods checking on him and he said: “it was Owens”. Anyways, the match was okay. Kofi won the match with the trouble in paradise.

After the match, Paul Heyman came out and teased a cash in from Brock Lesnar until Dolph Ziggler came from outta nowhere and he was beating up Kofi. I'm just as confused about this as the commentators like what's his motivation for putting the mugging on Kingston? Find out in a few scrolls.

Then, Roman Reigns was walking outside the arena until Elias was singing about Roman Reigns on the top of the production truck.

Bayley and Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair and Lacy Evans.

WWE Photo
This was okay. The team of Bayley and Becky Lynch won the match with the small package from Bayley to Charlotte.

After that, Dolph Ziggler took a microphone and he aired his motivations for his vicious attack. Basically, he said that he should've been him being replaced by Ali at Elimination Chamber a couple of months ago and not Kofi Kingston. He ended the promo by saying that he will beat Kofi for the championship at Super showdown.

We got another match confirmed for Super Showdown because if you have been on social media, you'll know why. So, they're playing the jealous trope in this feud and I don't mind it actually.

Roman Reigns vs Elias. Money In The Bank 2019 rematch.

WWE Photo
This was okay. Elias hitting an elbow will always impress me. Roman Reigns won this match with the spear and then, Shane delivers Roman with series of bad punches until Roman came back with a superman punch. Drew McIntyre returned out of nowhere with a claymore kick. Still not a fan of this feud. If this is how they wanna build up Roman then they're not doing a decent job.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The New Day's banter in the opening segment.

Didn't like: The ending was poor, Andrade losing.

WWE RAW 28/12/20 | A Bit Late Coherent Review.

Before I start this review, I wanna say rest in peace to Jon Huber better known as the person behind the character of Luke Harper and Brodie Lee.  It was a tough, painful 3 days for the pro wrestling industry and I certainly felt that.  If there's one thing I've learned from the number of great stories being told by the people he has worked with is that Jon is a charming, funny and overall a fantastic human being that loves his family.  After reading the countless amount of fantastic tribute posts (including from the likes of Molly Belle of Wrestle Inn and Andrew Thompson of Post Wrestling ), that bit about Jon as a family man made me think of my current relationship with my father and the ways I'm trying to improve from my standpoint.  I know this is a cheese pizza saying but tell the people you cared about that you love 'em because that line might make their day.  So. Thank you, Jon Huber, for being the light that brightens everybody's darkness.  Now, Ho...

WWE Smackdown Live 30/10/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown Live yesterday was a skippable show other than the opening segment and match in my opinion. Now usually on my RAW/Smackdown Live review, I break down what's good, what's ok and what's bad. For the first time, I'm only gonna tell you what's ok given that this show was again a skippable show and here we go.  WHAT'S OK The opening segment  This is the probably one of if not most noteworthy moment this week mainly because as you might know, there were reports going around that John Cena and Daniel Bryan were out of Crown Jewel and the reports are indeed true and it makes sense, especially for John Cena considering that he's an actor now and he needs to maintain his PR status. The segment itself was decent. Loved both guys' intensity and that segment leads to a WWE championship match and speaking of which............. Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles  Decent match. Expected a better from these two but again, decent nevertheless but...

WWE Smackdown 24/4/20 | A Coherent Review.

This week's Smackdown show was decent but it wasn't as strong as the previous weeks and *hits his head a few times* here's why.  The New Day Celebrates Their Title Victory. The show kicked off with the now 8th time WWE tag team champions, The New Day and like the title above, they were celebrating their big title win last week (No sh*t, Omar).  During the segment, Kofi mentioned that there's nothing wrong with pointing out that they have more title reigns than The Hart Foundation, Edge and Christian, Demolition, The New Age Outlaws etc because it's them being proud of their accomplishments.  Out came Lucha House Party, The Miz and John Morrison and they pretty much said that they deserve a title shot. The Forgotten Sons showed up to tell The New Day, Lucha House Party and every other tag team watching that they will never be forgotten.  They lived up to that statement as the Forgotten Sons destroyed Lucha House Party and The New Day.  ...
