The 5 News Week: News On WWE Network Removing Some Content.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

WWE Draft Date Changed According To Reports.

This ain't a brand split without a cohesive draft show, right?

From Andrew Zarian of "listen to my podcast now!" Mad Men Wrestling Podcast, the set of shows that will host this year's draft (RAW and Smackdown for all of you slow mofos) will possibly be delayed to a month.

The draft was supposed to be conducted on the 31st of August and the 9th of September.

The possible delayed date is now either the 1st of October and the 4th of October or the 4th of October and the 8th of October.

I am not a fan of the draft that is taking place right in the middle of the Survivor Series/October PPV build.

A draft that is scheduled weeks after Wrestlemania would've made sense since Wrestlemania signalizes the finality of storylines (I'm speaking in theory and not in execution) and having a draft weeks after would freshen both main roster shows.

News On WWE Network Removing Some Content.

Mike Johnson of "I hate mobile users" PWInsider has noted regarding some content that is removed by world wrestling entertainment.

The specific programming pulled out of the Network was on the documentary side of things and one of them was an untold documentary about the one-hit-wonder that was the Nexus stable.

The reason for the sudden decision to pull content from the service is quote, "strategy and rollout for original content on the streaming service as it adjusts to its new place in the WWE hierarchy under the TV department".

Well, sh*t.

Chris Jericho Trademarked The Word "God Of War".

Chrissie Irvine decided to do something really smart and that is to trademark the word "God Of War".

The trademark details are as follows:

"G & S: Hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts”, as well as “G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”

For all of the uncultured folks, God Of War is a well-established video game franchise owned by Sony which the first game, was released in 2005 at the tail end of the Playstation 2 generation (aka the year of Mariah Carey).

Will the old man pull an upset? The answer is a simple no. So, good luck with that, the human embodiment of a Canadian Billy Ray Cyrus that loves leather.

Money In The Bank 2021 Quick Predictions.

Since this week's news was slower than the pacing of an AEW PPV show, I've decided to write down my quick predictions for this year's Money In The Bank program. My predictions are highlighted in bold letters.

AJ Styles And Omos vs The Viking Raiders For The RAW Tag Team Championship.

Rey And Dominik Mysterio vs The Usos For The SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley For The RAW Women's Championship.

Bobby Lashley vs Kofi Kingston For The WWE Championship.

Roman Reigns vs Edge For The Universal Championship.

Ricochet vs. John Morrison vs. Riddle (unfortunately) vs Drew McIntyre vs Big E vs Kevin Owens vs King Nakamura vs Seth Rollins. Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Asuka vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss (she has powers, of course, she's going to win) vs. Nikki A.S.H. vs Liv Morgan vs Zelina Vega vs. Natalya vs. Tamina. Women's Money in The Bank Ladder Match.

NXT To Air On The SyFy Network!?

The yellow brand is going to air on the SyFy Network aka a huge rating drop but anything can happen.

The July 27th episode, as well as the August 3rd episode of NXT, will air on SyFy due to the Olympic coverage for NBCU.

It has been said that the black and gold brand is filming episodes at the CWC starting next week (from F4WOnline).

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy? Anyways, stay safe smarks.

A Guide On How To Improve Wrestling Criticism.

Now, before you all verbally eat me alive like a hippopotamus (yes hippos eat humans, look that up), understand that I’m just an average dude writing about pro wrestling and doesn’t claim to be an expert in anything and that includes professional wrestling (except cooking. I’m damn good at cooking).  However, what I’ve been discovering as a pro wrestling blogger for over a year is that there are some wrestling criticism out there that just make me wanna scratch my head to the point where my hands turn into an electric shaver if that makes sense. For instance, “Why is Ricochet’s trunks red instead of white?” or “Why’s Andrade wearing his Luchador mask for his entrance every week?”  In other words, they’re nitpicking and trust me I do that ALL THE TIME in my wrestling reviews. There’s nothing wrong with nitpicking certain things but the difference is that I acknowledge that I’m nitpicking and those guys clearly don’t.  There are fans out there on the interweb that b...

WWE RAW 30/12/19 | My Coherent Review.

I'm back from a two-week review hiatus and honestly, it was refreshing but this ain't about me. You're here for my thoughts on the final RAW of the 2010s and it was decent until the ending.  I'm still in shock as to what did I just witness. I've not been this shocked from seeing an ending like that probably since watching the movie "Schindler's List".  Kevin Owens Wants To Take Seth Rollins And AOP Down.  Owens in a promo, says that the heel trio are disrespecting Rey Mysterio and shows footage of Mysterio losing the US title to Andrade in a house show even though the luchador wasn't 100%.  Seth Rollins and his friends came out and Kevin Owens immediately tried to attack AOP but that did not fail thanks to Samoa Joe and chaos has ensued to start off RAW.  Charly Caruso showed up to interview Samoa Joe about what AOP and Rollins did to him last week to which a bunch of security guards entered the locker room to get rid of Owens ...

AEW Double Or Nothing | My Coherent Review.

I was supposed to post this review two hours after the show aired but my internet connection went down for several hours and I got extremely frustrated and if you’re addicted to the interwebs, that is probably the scariest thing ever other than your worst fear of course. Anyways, I, unfortunately, haven't watched the two pre-show matches because I was out working. So, the million dollar question, was AEW's Double Or Nothing a great show? I'm happy to announce that it was an outstanding PPV overall. One of the problems I had with ALL IN is the match card placements and they fixed it in this PPV.  Oh, and I'm warning you guys that this PPV review is longer than my Wrestlemania 35 review (which you can click here ) just because a lot of things happened on this show. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find pictures for each match so y’all are only going to see the writing.  Double Or Nothing started off with the Hamilton stars sang the American National anthem (omg, can Ja...
