Since this past week's news was as slow as the time it takes me to wake up every morning, I decided to showcase a few news, I guess?  A Name Change For A WWE SUPERSTAR!!? Elias has been, to quote Justin Timberlake, "dead and gone" for quite some time and it seems like the man with a "lead singer of a band" look, is getting a name change at least if you believe what Al Fightful Bin Select has to say.  In the report, it notes that Elias is getting a brand new character with vignettes being filmed for the *ugh* former 24/7 champion.  Fightful also stated that Elias will remain on the red brand with a name change being "pitched".  Cesaro Trademarked WHAT!?  My man Claudio looked at WWE after negotiations and said, "Nah, I'm good".  Last week, the man with only one singles match at WrestleMania in his decade tenure with the company, filed a trademark for the initial "CSRO" for the use of merchandise and his coffee goods as well as p...

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  Why did Keith Lee JOIN AEW!? Remember what I said about AEW PPVs being too damn long if you've read my previous reviews?  Well, the elite brand did it again.  Besides what happened at the end, AEW once again, delivered a decent show. Oh, and I haven't seen the tag team match with Thunder Rosa, Riho vs Britt Baker and Maki Itoh at the pre-show so I can't speak on it The Young Bucks vs Chris Jericho And MJF For The AEW World Tag Team Championship  The heels were dominant throughout most of the match.  Like, when MJF pulled off certain submissions to slow Nick Jackson down for a bit.  Matt Jackson finally tagged his brother and he nailed the comeback with a bulldog while he showed Chris Jericho the middle finger.  MJF pinned Nick Jackson with a quick roll up to a near fall.  The Jackson brothers grabbed Chris Jericho and delivered the Meltzer driver to retain the AEW tag belts.   Not the most mind-blowing match but it did have its fun moments. Since this past week's news was really slow, I decided to talk about a few news items, I guess?  Charlotte Flair On Her Pitching WWE Of An Alliance With Andrade.  The queen herself recently spoke with TV Insider and during the discussion, Charlotte proposed an idea of an on-screen duo between herself and Andrade:  "I’ve actually pitched that. I would be very much open to that. I’ve done a lot in my career, but nobody has seen me in an on-cam relationship, or in that light. I can come across cold on TV." I love this idea for two reasons. One, the potential chemistry between the real-life couple will definitely shine and could possibly be one of the best acts on TV.  And two, it is a way to revamp Andrade's current status.  The dude is a talented performer and the fact that WWE doesn't have anything for him that is worthwhile is honestly a damn shame.  NXT Developing A Women's Tag Belts?  Major sigh.
