A Few News I Guess: Charlotte Flair On Her Pitching WWE Of An Alliance With Andrade, Quick AEW Revolution 2021 Predictions.

Since this past week's news was really slow, I decided to talk about a few news items, I guess?

Charlotte Flair On Her Pitching WWE Of An Alliance With Andrade.

The queen herself recently spoke with TV Insider and during the discussion, Charlotte proposed an idea of an on-screen duo between herself and Andrade:

"I’ve actually pitched that. I would be very much open to that. I’ve done a lot in my career, but nobody has seen me in an on-cam relationship, or in that light. I can come across cold on TV."

I love this idea for two reasons. One, the potential chemistry between the real-life couple will definitely shine and could possibly be one of the best acts on TV.

And two, it is a way to revamp Andrade's current status.

The dude is a talented performer and the fact that WWE doesn't have anything for him that is worthwhile is honestly a damn shame.

NXT Developing A Women's Tag Belts?

Major sigh. From the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Davey boy Meltzer (shout out to Fightful), the black and gold brand is planning to create an NXT women's tag team belts.

NXT kind of teased it after William Regal revealed that he has an announcement this Wednesday.

I'm going to assume the motivation for this is that NXT wanted to do its own thing while not having to clash with the creative team over at the big shows.

Either way, I don't like this. Part of the appeal of the women's tag team championship is that the champs can appear on any WWE show (although we're not seeing a good example of that).

Creating another set of belts for NXT kinda kills that intrigue.

Quick AEW Revolution 2021 Predictions.

Like I mentioned in the opening piece, this week's news was kinda slow. So, I've decided to nail my quick predictions for AEW's Revolution PPV later today.

By the way, the predictions are highlighted in bold letters:

Jon Moxley vs Kenny Omega For The AEW World Championship In A Barbed Wire Death Match.

Sting And Darby Allin vs Brian Cage And Ricky Starks in A Street Fight.

The Young Bucks vs Chris Jericho And MJF For The AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Hikaru Shida vs Ryo Mizunami For The AEW World Women's Championship.

"Big Money" Matt Hardy vs Hangman Page.

Miro And Kip Sabian vs Best Friends In Orange Cassidy And Chuck Taylor.

Cody Rhodes vs Penta El Zero Miedo vs Scorpio Sky vs Lance Archer vs The Mystery Opponent (Don't know who's it going to be but I'm picking that person) In A Ladder Match With The Winner Facing the TNT Championship.

A Casino Battle Royal For An AEW Tag Team Title Opportunity (I think it's either FTR or Pac and Rey Fenix).

PPV Length time: 3 hours vs an eternity.

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy? Anyways, stay safe smarks.

Should Dave Meltzer Get Rid Of His Rating System?

So a few weeks ago, good old Dave Meltzer of the wrestling observer newsletter gave the Kazuchika Okada vs Kenny omega match at dominion 2018 a 7-star rating. According to the interent wrestling database , this match is by far his HIGHEST match rating ever (i don't blame him because the match was amazing). So statistically, this is his favourite match of all time . Now, why I'm writing this now?  Well, his best match ratings have been a consistent 5 stars since 1983 with the exception of all the Omega vs Okada matches and the Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada match at AJPW's Budokan hall show in June of 1994.  There are fans that take his match ratings as an offence somehow like "Why he rates X match better than Y match?" or thinks that he "hates" WWE which is ridiculous considering that he gave three WWE matches a 5 star ratings just this past year. One was the ladder match to crown the first ever NXT North American champion, the Johnny Garga...

WWE Smackdown Live 10/7/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown live was a bad show that did nothing as a wrestling fan to gain any excitement for extreme rules. Why you ask? Well i'm gonna give you what's good. No scratch that, i'm gonna give you what's ok and what's bad. Here we go. WHAT'S OK The opening segment and the brawl after that The opening segment was meh. And the brawl after that was fine. Didn't make me go "OHHHHHHHHHHH" or anything like along those lines. That brawl leads to a TEN MAN TAG TEAM match (Ummmmmm no shit omar). I will say this, the segment kinda teased the fact that maybe kane will turn on his best friend? I don't know. Should be interesting.  Andrade "cien" almas vs Sin cara The match was surprisingly decent. At one point andrade delivered a devastating stomp to sin cara on the ring apron. Andrade wins with a running knee to sin cara on the middle rope. Hoping andrade can move on to bigger and better things.  WHAT'S BAD ...

WWE Smackdown Live 19/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

This show was overall, a skippable show just like RAW yesterday and here's why.  Opening segment.  The show kicked off with Shane McMahon with his usual cheap pop. After that, Shane McMahon announced that Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet and Tommaso Ciampa will be on SmackDown Live just like RAW last night (click here to read my RAW review).  Out came The Miz and he said that he hasn't stop thinking about their match at Elimination Chamber. Miz also said he admitted that he used Shane because Miz wanted to make Shane McMahon understand where's Miz's coming from.  Miz then wanted a rematch between him, Shane McMahon and the Usos for the SmackDown Live tag team championship to which the Usos came out and insulted The Miz.  That led to Shane McMahon saying that the rematch is on but at Fastlane in two weeks. So we got the first official match scheduled for Fastlane and considering that Shane is a McMahon and has all the Authority, I do...
