Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  NXT Superstars Still Expected To Move To The Main Roster? Although the yellow brand is much better in terms of how they approach storylines subjectively speaking, of course, it is still a developmental brand after all even though it doesn't feel like so.  I'm sure you guys have heard of reports (more specifically from post wrestling ) that a draft is coming next month and the NXT Superstars will still be called on either RAW or Smackdown hence not being treated as a third equal brand.  That is all coming from Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WWE NXT Takeover: Toronto | My Coherent Review.

Another month or so, another great NXT Takeover event courtesy of the NXT creative team filled with top-notch in-ring action and storytelling. I know it feels tiresome when you heard people praise highly talk about the Takeover shows but trust me they are that good.  The Street Profits vs The Undisputed Era for the NXT Tag Team Championship. During the match, Montez Ford delivered the people's elbow after hitting a spinebuster on Bobby Fish. The match ended with a frog splash from Montez Ford and The Street Profits continues to celebrate as tag team champions.  I'm very conflicted with this decision mainly because I don't want to see more okay matches between The Forgotten Sons and Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan but I'm going to be optimistic hoping that it's not the case.  Io Shirai vs Candice Lerae.  Io's theme song is simple yet badass at the same time (no shit, Omar). The 5 News Week: WWE Backstage. Cancelled Or Nah?, Liv Morgan's Re-Debut Was Supposed To Be Different!?

I'm back on my BS because it's The 5 News Week where I report on the 5 major or minor news of the week hence the name "T he 5 News Week".  Sorry for the week of absence. I took a week off of social media (except YouTube) due to the sadness I felt when reading those brave women and men tell their stories about the awful, terrible experiences they've had after their interactions with notable people in the industry.  It made me question my fandom and whether I should be in the industry (wrestling media-wise) knowing that they are asshats that will take an advantage on people for no reason other than more power and control.  This week proves that the business needs to wash all the old tropes that make it harder for people to express what's really going on especially when it pertains  to serious issues like sexual assault, racism, sexism etc.  I'm hoping that those stories will lead to a sudden change in every aspect of this profession and other ...
