WWE Smackdown 24/4/20 | A Coherent Review.

This week's Smackdown show was decent but it wasn't as strong as the previous weeks and *hits his head a few times* here's why.  The New Day Celebrates Their Title Victory. The show kicked off with the now 8th time WWE tag team champions, The New Day and like the title above, they were celebrating their big title win last week (No sh*t, Omar).  During the segment, Kofi mentioned that there's nothing wrong with pointing out that they have more title reigns than The Hart Foundation, Edge and Christian, Demolition, The New Age Outlaws etc because it's them being proud of their accomplishments.  Out came Lucha House Party, The Miz and John Morrison and they pretty much said that they deserve a title shot. The Forgotten Sons showed up to tell The New Day, Lucha House Party and every other tag team watching that they will never be forgotten.  They lived up to that statement as the Forgotten Sons destroyed Lucha House Party and The New Day.  ...

WWE Smackdown 7/2/20 | My Coherent Review.

This episode of Friday night Smackdown was (not counting commercials) an hour and 26 minutes and it felt twice as long. Boy, what a boring show.  The Return Of The Dirt Sheets.  John Morrison and The Miz showed off their cinematic skills for a trailer they've made, a skill that they're still trying to be somewhat good at.  Out came their Super showdown opponent in The New Day and they laughed at the notion of Miz and Morrison capturing the tag team titles from them.  The Usos came out to tell the hosts of the dirt sheets that they'll put them in The Usos Penitentiary but Dolph Ziggler's music distracted The New Day which was an opportunity for Miz and Morrison to hit the tag champs from behind. The segment started off great but it had a lacklustre end to it.  That Dirt Sheets intro narrated by Howard Finkel took me back though to a time that I didn't know what bills were (yes, I'm that young). WWE Smackdown Live 26/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was overall an okay show that did a decent job at building some intrigued for what is a waste of a PPV in Fastlane. By the way, There's no women's match on this show which is rather odd.  Opening segment.  The show kicked off with Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Rowan and Daniel Bryan all in the ring for a contract signing which is rare that a contract signing actually starts a wrestling show. Shane McMahon then showed Kofi Kingston career highlights which led to Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon introducing Kofi Kingston.  Kofi Kingston cut a promo saying that he finally got a one on one WWE championship match after 11 years and he's gonna beat Daniel Bryan for that title. After that, Daniel Bryan signed the contract and Kofi was about to sign the contract but Vince McMahon randomly showed up.  Vince announced that he's replacing Kofi with the returning Kevin Owens. First, Vince screwed Becky Lynch and now he screwed Kofi Kingston. That's odd b...
