WWE RAW 30/12/19 | My Coherent Review.

Image result for WWE Raw
I'm back from a two-week review hiatus and honestly, it was refreshing but this ain't about me. You're here for my thoughts on the final RAW of the 2010s and it was decent until the ending.

I'm still in shock as to what did I just witness. I've not been this shocked from seeing an ending like that probably since watching the movie "Schindler's List".

Kevin Owens Wants To Take Seth Rollins And AOP Down.

WWE Photo
Owens in a promo, says that the heel trio are disrespecting Rey Mysterio and shows footage of Mysterio losing the US title to Andrade in a house show even though the luchador wasn't 100%.

Seth Rollins and his friends came out and Kevin Owens immediately tried to attack AOP but that did not fail thanks to Samoa Joe and chaos has ensued to start off RAW.

Charly Caruso showed up to interview Samoa Joe about what AOP and Rollins did to him last week to which a bunch of security guards entered the locker room to get rid of Owens and Joe.

The brawl made sense given how personal this feud got in the past weeks but do I like it though? I actually do. Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe are sick of Seth's BS which Owens saw it coming way before Rollins formed his own posse.

This feud had a month-long build and I'm hoping that it stretches out but just because a storyline has a longer build that doesn't translate to a good feud. Just look at the Rusev and Lashley storyline.

Aleister Black vs Buddy Murphy.

WWE Photo
A rematch from TLC 2019 and it was awesome. Black hits a series of kicks to Murphy that made you feel that you don't want to be in Murphy's place.

Murphy used the ropes to pin Black but the ref saw it and stopped the pin entirely. Aleister Black hits the black mass and wins this bout. Again, an awesome match.

Seth Rollins and The Authors Of Pain left the building with "some assistance of security guards" meanwhile, Erick Rowan had a verbal interaction with Lana of all people regarding her wedding.

Oh, and Rowan squashed somebody in a match because everybody loves Rowan squashing people right?

Charlotte Flair's Announcement Concerning The Royal Rumble.

WWE Photo
Flair told the world that she's in the women's Royal Rumble match but why state the obvious? Well, she thinks that she's one of the greats, so great that she issued an open challenge which Natalya answered the call.

During the match, there were some 24/7 championship shenanigans going on around the ring. The match ended with a figure 8 and Charlotte Flair wins again. A solid match which is expected from both women.

Becky Lynch in an interview with Charly Caruso, made her match with Asuka official at the first Royal Rumble of the 2020s. Then, a Liv Morgan video played and given that I haven't reviewed the show in two weeks, my thoughts on those videos? All I can say is that I'm intrigued.

The O.C Talks About Their Back To Back Victories.

After they went on about their Ws, The Street Profits entered the stage challenging Anderson and Gallows to a match and proceeded to make a reference to the "O.C" TV show from the 2000s because the show and the team have the same initials (no sh*t, Omar). The segment was fine for what it was.

That led to a decent match. The duo that started off their run in NXT won the match with a frog splash from Montez Ford to Karl Anderson.

Drew McIntyre vs Zack Ryder And Curt Hawkins.

WWE Photo
McIntyre cut a surprising entertaining promo and that lead to a W from the Scottish psychopath. They went from being tag team champions to losing from one guy.

Ryder had the pieces of becoming one of the biggest stars the company has ever seen but he was a jobber for quite some time. Shame on WWE.

Randy Orton Addresses His Injury.

WWE Photo
Orton talks about how the business ain't ballet (which I don't get the analogy given that ballet dancers do suffer from injuries. Have you seen Black Swan?) Anyways, Orton mentioned that he promises that he'll RKO somebody at Wrestlemania.

AJ Styles came out and basically was bothering the guy. He also said that he'll be patient for Randy Orton until Wrestlemania but Orton wasn't and he delivered the RKO to Styles.

There’s a reason why the RKO from outta nowhere is still a thing and that segment proved that. I will say this, for the first time, I think ever, Randy Orton as a babyface especially in this segment actually worked for me. He portrayed in a sympathetic setting throughout most of this segment to the point where it made me cheer for the guy.

Andrade vs Local Jobber.

WWE Photo
Andrade was about to hit the competitor with the DDT on the exposed floor on the outside but that didn't happen thanks to Ricochet showing up leading to another match for Andrade this time with Ricochet.

WWE Photo

Surprisingly enough, Andrade won the match with the hammerlock DDT but what wasn't surprising was Zelina Vega's interference. I didn't like the fact that Andrade's first match of the night ended like that but I'm just nitpicking.

Bobby Lashley And Lana Wedding Ceremony.

WWE Photo
If you have been a pro wrestling fan for a minute then you'll know that weddings segments don't end well so if you're thinking of getting married in pro wrestling setting or a wrestling theme wedding, please don't.

So, did this segment break the curse of a pro wrestling wedding? As the saying goes, "Hell Nah to the Nah, Nah, Nah. Hell to the Nah." Lana's first husband and Lashley’s first wife (not Kristal Marshall apparently) showed up and air their grievances as to why they shouldn't get married. Liv Morgan showed up and all she told Lashley was "how could you do this to me?"

WWE Photo
But she wasn't talking about Bobby but rather she was talking about Lana.  Holy Moses splitting the red sea, what did I just watch? This has to be a Vince McMahon idea right?

That being said, I really liked how Lana played with the crowd in the sense that she was cutting promos on the fly.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: opening segment, Aleister Black vs Buddy Murphy, Randy Orton And AJ Styles segment, Lana cutting promos during the wedding on the fly.

Didn't like: The transition from Andrade's first match of the night to the second match of the night.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
