WWE Smackdown Live 21/8/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown live was overall an okay show. Could've been better in my opinion. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Let discuss wrestling shall we?

WHAT'S GOOD

Becky Lynch's Promo

Two nights after getting pinned by new SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch addresses her shocking post-match attack.
That was great and she carried herself pretty well in this. She basically said that her hard work and her moment was stolen by Charlotte and the fans thinks of becky as an afterthought.

Charlotte's music hit and she stormed into the ring and they both beat the crap outta of each other. If there's one person that's an afterthought, it's asuka. I don't know of that has to do with anything but it is what it is.

Samoa joe's psychological warfare part II.

“Oh Wendyyyyyy,” Joe says.
There was a interview with AJ conducted by renee young and it ended quickly because samoa joe came outta nowhere and choked out AJ, pointed at the camera and shouted AJ's wife's name "OH WENDYYYY!". That was great and the way samoa joe shouted Wendy was hilarious.

Tag Team Title match

That was a chaotic match. Both shows (RAW and Smackdown Live) delivered great main events. If I told you everything that happened throughout this match, this would've been a long post. By the end of the match, Xavier did a springboard elbow drop on harper through the table and pins him to the count of three. The new day won the tag team titles for the 5th time. Congrats to them.

WHAT'S OK

The opening segment

Brie unloads on The A-Lister...
Not a bad segment to be honest. The miz starts the promo with a typical heel swerve. Wow, I've never seen that before. Anyways, he talks about how he "ended" the 8 year saga with him and bryan and how he beat daniel with one punch.

Outcomes bryan and he called miz a coward while the miz was talking which I thought it was funny. Maryse then grabs the microphone and said than daniel is nothing more daniel bella. Brie bella's music hit (unpopular opinion, I actually don't mind her theme song) and she wasted no time and gave some punches to miz.

Daniel then said that he spoke to GM Paige and a mixed tag match is in place at hell in a cell between miz and his wife vs daniel bryan and his wife. Now thinking about it, we've seen a lot of mixed tag matches on WWE this year.

Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton

That match ended quick. During the match, Randy Orton grabbed jeff's ear which was cringe-worthy. Randy wins Via DQ and then Jeff decides to beat the crap outta randy and he put randy on the table near the stage and delivered a Swanton Bomb. This feud warrants a hell in a cell stipulation at least in my opinion.

Naomi vs Peyton royce

Forgettable match but royce did take a big W in this. She wins with the fisherman suplex.

WHAT'S BAD

This match

The difference between this and the tag team title match is that at summerslam, The match ended in a DQ therefore it progressed that storyline. This one was just a rematch for the sake of a rematch. Rusev wins with the accolade.

My question is, what do you think about SmackDown live last night? Let me know in the comments below and make sure to follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
