WWE Smackdown 26/3/21 | A Coherent Review.

This episode was great. I had no problems with the show after thinking about it.

Daniel Bryan Mentioned Roman Reigns Tapping Out At Fastlane.

Bryan started off the program by mentioning the truth which was, of course, Roman Reigns tapping out of Bryan's yes lock submission.

Daniel went on to say that in a perfect world, he would've been THE universal champion but Edge's chair shot on DB's back is what prevented that from happening.

So, the man is waiting for an answer regarding a championship opportunity that he earned.

I find it funny that Edge of all people is telling Daniel Bryan that Bryan's doing this the wrong way as if he's always done things the right way (by the way, I'm talking about Edge the character, not the person).

Adam Pearce basically gave Bryan a no for an answer to which Edge came out and called Bryan a "son of a b*tch" for taking his years of hard work to get back into the ring.

The segment ended with a spear and then a chair shot strike on DB.

It's a battle of the sentence "I earn this, I earn that", folks! Who you got, people?

All jokes aside, both of their motivations are a typical heel move however, it didn't turn them fully to the dark side which I appreciate. It gives the character more layers.

Overall, I liked this segment.

Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura.

Aka a rematch from Fastlane and it wasn't as good but it ain't bad either.

Rollins defeated Nakamura once again and it wasn't long after he ate a pop-up uppercut from Cesaro.

In an interview with Kalya Braxton, Rollins challenged Cesaro to a singles match at Wrestlemania and Cesaro responded with a Cesaro swing.

I'm hoping this is an avenue for the Swiss cyborg to actually pick up the W and elevate him into the main event player that he should've been several years back.

Big E And The Street Profits vs Otis, Chad Gable And APOOOOLLLLO.

This 6 man bout was pretty good. That German suplex from Gable to Angelo Dawkins was rough.

The bad guys win with an Olympic slam to Big E. Another match confirmed for Wrestlemania is the Intercontinental champion between Big E and Apollo Crews. Wishing that match is way better than the disappointment at Fastlane.

Sami Zayn Wants Kevin Owens To Be In His Documentary Premiere

Zayn BEGGED Kevin Owens to be in his documentary red carpet premiere featuring the epitome of comedy on Vine, Logan Paul.

Owens answered the offer by giving Zayn a challenge. A match between Owens and Zayn at Wrestlemania aka almost 5 years too late.

This felt like the feud was put together on a whim but so was Kofi's push to the WWE championship picture so I ain't complaining too much here.

If there's one thing I've learned from both guys throughout their WWE tenure is that their series of matches were great so this one is no exception (at least I hope so).

Rey Mysterio vs Dolph Ziggler.

A decent match. Rey Mysterio picked up the W with the 619 despite some outside shenanigans from Dominik Mysterio and Robert Roode.

Bianca Belair vs Natalya.

Belair slapped the hell out of Sasha Banks during the match. The EST of WWE defeated Natalya with ease but she was blindsided with a backstabber from Sasha Banks.

Now, THIS is how you build the women's championship match!

Adam Pearce Makes A Decision Regarding The Universal Championship At Wrestlemania.

Throughout the night, Pearce met with Edge and later, Roman Reigns regarding their Wrestlemania match status and a decision was made in the final segment of the night.

That decision was a triple threat match for the universal championship between Daniel Bryan, Edge and Roman Reigns.

That isn't what Edge wanted as he talked to Roman Reigns about Daniel Bryan stealing their one on one match opportunity before that segment took place.

As they say, "don't trust the ultimate opportunist" because he destroyed Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan with chair shot after chair shot.

In other words, Edge absolutely SNAPPED. I wasn't fully on board with the idea of a triple threat match but after this episode, I'm now all-in on the match.

The intensity of it was definitely needed and I'm glad they didn't go with the "respectable" route with Edge and Daniel Bryan.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: 6 man tag team match, the opening and closing segment, the Smackdown women's championship build is getting better.

Didn't like: Nothing.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
