THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance.

And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.

Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.

As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday.

Rampage.

Highlights.

Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.

And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.

The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"

With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.

Eddie Kingston (with the most New York fit I've ever seen) ain't too happy With CM Punk.

Eddie Kingston gave CM Punk a verbal BEATING. That promo showcases how Eddie Kingston is legit one of the best pure dialogue executioners in this industry.

Side note, I will say, It's nice to see an in-ring CM Punk segment that isn't the old "I'm glad to be with the fans".

Some Other Things That Happened.

Red Velvet lost to The Bunny - Meh.

Adam Cole defeated John Silver - The anti smarks looking at this match like, "is this AEW's version of the cruiserweight division? Bunch of vanilla midgets".

Dynamite.

Highlights.

Matt Sydal And Lee Moriarty vs Dante Martin And Lio Rush.

I like this match a ton. This is my second time seeing Lee Moriarty and he keeps on impressing me a lot as a performer. He's just that damn good right now.

And It's been a while since I've seen Lio Rush wrestle with ease and God damn, the match made me appreciate his in-ring presence.

The man of the hour, along with Dante Martin, walked out of this week's episode of Dynamite as the winner of the match with a beautiful looking moonsault from Dante Martin.

Some Other Things That Happened.

Bryan Danielson defeated Rocky Romero - A decent match is all I'll say.

A beatdown from Dan Lambert's posse to Inner Circle - This is your weekly reminder that Dan Lambert is literally the epitome of annoying wrestling fans.

Dr Britt Baker, Rebel And Jamie Hayter lost to Tay Conti, Anna Jay And Thunder Rosa - Another reminder that WWE really messed up on not utilizing Tay Conti on weekly television.

Jungle Boy defeated Anthony Bowens - Speaking of Max Caster's awful freestyle rap but I will say, this was the least offensive of the bunch. Oh, and Bobby Fish gave the young man a SUPLEX BEATING.

Wardlow gave Wheelchair Yuta powerbomb destruction that led to the big man's victory - The night just couldn't get any worse for Best Friends as Matt Hardy's big money crew took Yuta's loss as an advantage to give Vest Friends an a** whopping. Meh.

Dax Hardwood lost to Pac - the other half of FTR (Cash Wheeler), Andrade El Idolo, Malaki Black gave Pac some foot stomps until Cody Rhodes and the Lucha Brothers (aka three POCs) came to the rescue.

AEW loves their multi-person brawl more than WWE loves their women's division as of late.

The contract signing with Hangman Page and Kenny Omega was bloody - Ya Allah, please don't let Louis Dangoor's booking plan come true for Hangman Page as a transitional champion. Ameen.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

WWE Smackdown 4/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest guys, this episode didn't do it for me.  Besides the announcement of Ronda Rousey challenging Charlotte Flair for the blue women's belt at Wrestlemania as well as another challenge proposed by Goldberg aka NoBerg to the tribal chief, this, like last week's show, was as skippable as an anime filler episode.  Paul Heyman Was Like, "F**k That Brock Guy!"  Brock and Paul legit need some counselling because they've broken up and reunited together like my relationship with the Call of Duty franchise. To quote Gordon Ramsey, "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!"  All lame banter aside, Paul Heyman's promos before Goldberg's appearance was the only good thing throughout the entire show.  As far as how I feel about the idea of Goldberg facing Roman Reigns at the upcoming Elimination Chamber show, major Ls on this one.   Ricochet vs Ridge Holland.  Yay, the "one on one match that later turned into a tag match" cliche. The difference is t...
