WWE Smackdown 4/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest guys, this episode didn't do it for me.

Besides the announcement of Ronda Rousey challenging Charlotte Flair for the blue women's belt at Wrestlemania as well as another challenge proposed by Goldberg aka NoBerg to the tribal chief, this, like last week's show, was as skippable as an anime filler episode.

Paul Heyman Was Like, "F**k That Brock Guy!"

Brock and Paul legit need some counselling because they've broken up and reunited together like my relationship with the Call of Duty franchise. To quote Gordon Ramsey, "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!"

All lame banter aside, Paul Heyman's promos before Goldberg's appearance was the only good thing throughout the entire show.

As far as how I feel about the idea of Goldberg facing Roman Reigns at the upcoming Elimination Chamber show, major Ls on this one.

Ricochet vs Ridge Holland.

Yay, the "one on one match that later turned into a tag match" cliche. The difference is that you don't get to hear Teddy Long's theme music only for the guy to announce a tag team match, Playas.

Ricochet won the singles match to which Holland came back with a W in the tag team match. Nice!

Aliyah vs Natalya.

I've seen this match so many times, my autocorrect literally filled the "Aliyah vs Natalya" line for me.

Aliyah defeated the queen of hearts with a count-out.

Erik vs Jimmy Uso.

A decent match is all I'll say. One half of The Usos defeated the Viking man with a splash Samoa style.

Drew McIntyre DEMANDS To Hear Some Jokes.

Drew McIntyre is me after seeing Dave Chappelle's recent comedy special.

This segment was far from a Chappelle show skit and more so the sh*t your classmate came up with because they'll remind us all that they're funny even though they're not.

Sami Zayn got his IC title match in two weeks on the February 18th episode of Smackdown while Natalya gets yet another rematch (Inshallah, the last) from Aliyah in a dungeon style pinfall and submission only encounter. Coolirnos.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jinder Mahal.

Seeing this match one more, I was reminded of that God awful segment where Jinder Mahal made fun of Shinsuke Nakamura's accent because nothing screams WWE than a good old fashioned xenophobia.

That sh*t ain't no reminder but rather a f**king nightmare. Nakamura wins with Kinshasa. F**king great, guys!

The New Day vs Los Lotharios.

Just like his tag partner, Big E went right back to his old position in the card instead of getting a WWE championship rematch and you know what? I absolutely hate it.

But. But. But. At least, they won a match here, right?

Like I said in the opening statement, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair will face each other at the Mania of Wrestles for the blue women's belt.

I mean, they had a fire match a few years ago so why can't this be the case? I would prefer Ronda facing Becky Lynch but it is what it is, I guess.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Paul Heyman's promo.

Didn't like: JUST CANCEL THE ENTIRE F**KING EPISODE!

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Three Big Returns, A Great Inaugural Women's Championship Match.

If you have been a fan of this site since January, then you'll know that I've completely rebooted my review process and now, I'm doing that again.  Don't worry, the format for my RAW, Smackdown and PPV reviews will still be the same but not on Wednesdays. So, here it is, My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT The Highlights. Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle For The NXT Championship.  A match that opened this episode of the yellow brand, the original bro and the leader of The Undisputed Era tore the house down.  Whether it's Cole reversing the fireman's carry from Riddle into a backstabber, Cole hitting a Panama sunrise twice, a floating bro or the crowd chanting "Adam Cole, bro", it was a visual statement by NXT that the yellow brand is THE brand to watch.  Unfortunately,  Riddle felt short and ate the last shot but there was another highlight I wanna talk about….. Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...
