THE Coherent AEW Take: AEW Kinda Lame!?

IT'S TIME FOR SOME RAMPAGE USING THE DYNAMITE!

I tried being clever with the intros y'all. Another thing that isn't all that clever to mention I guess is that both episodes were pretty underwhelming in that they didn't do much for me other than point out, "at least there wasn't a bunch of rematches I've seen way too many times."

Let me describe my feelings toward both episodes in a short rap song so bad, it might as well have come out of Max Caster's mouth.

Yo, yo, this sh*t is so lame, I don't know who else to blame (TOONYYYYY!). MJF be catching Ws but not as hard as AEW (at least this week).

Rampage.

Highlights.

Lee Johnson And Brock Anderson vs FTR.

Gotta say, this was pretty fun to watch. I know the commentators have mentioned it many times but Brock Anderson wrestling inside the ring is like watching his own father wrestle.

Unfortunately for Brock, FTR defeated him as well as his tag partner with the spike piledriver.

Some Other Things That Happened.

Jon Moxley defeated Anthony Bowens - This might as well be the Anthony Bowens match because this was basically a showcase of Bowens' in-ring skills. And it was decent.

Jade Cargill defeated Julia Hart - Yea, this was rough.

Private Party lost to The Jurassic Express for the AEW world tag team championship - I hate putting this match on here given that I love those days but this didn't do it for me.

Dynamite.

Highlights.

There is none because it wasn't a good show.

Some Other Things That Happened.

Jon Moxley being offered to join Bryan Danielson - I smell a feuuuuuud!

By the way, Moxley was supposed to face a guy who later, was released by AEW due to the fact that he sounded like somebody out of an Andrew Callaghan Channel 5 video but WAY WAY worse.

DAN LAMBERT SIDES WITH MISOGYNY PART 23467788 - Brandi with the least effective slap I've ever seen.

Death Triangle lost to the Knights Of The Black Throne - A decent match is all I'll say.

Ruby Soho pulled out the L over Nyla Rose - Al Cool Bin Tamam.

Hangman and Lance Archer brawler before their match - Nothing screams AEW then with brawls.

MJF rolled up to victory over CM Punk - Don't tell me that AEW wouldn't pull the "wrestler lost in their hometown" cliche again, you hear me!?

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
