The 5 News Week: Vince McMahon Has Wrestlemania 39 Plans?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

Roman Reigns THE PART-TIMER!?

I guess he followed John Cena's promo 5 years ago saying that he may do it part-time better than he does it full time.

He's heard from his snitch that when discussing the tribal chief's part-time schedule, the success of the first night of this year's Wrestlemania, convinced Titan Towers that they don't need to feature their top champion on every PPV since the Peacock money is "guaranteed" (the fact that I laughed at the line, "Peacock money" should tell you how immature I am).

Kota Ibushi BREAKS UP With NJPW!?

To quote Chris Hero's WWE theme song, "Oh no. Oh no. OH NO!" Speaking of the F4WOnline guys, Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Wrestling Observer Live that Kota Ibushi "burned his bridge" with New Japan and the entire Japanese wrestling scene.

The reason? Well, to keep it brief, it stems from Kota Ibushi's issues with bad NJPW management which include sexual harassment, one of the executives, Kikuchi and "cheater-guns" (shout out to @golden_kuma for the translation).

F**K EM!

An Update Regarding Leyla Hirsch's Injury.

PWInsider and "why's my headline written by Oney Lorcan" Mike Johnson, noted that Leyla Hirsch's Injury sustained on AEW Dark last month was believed to be an "ACL and/or MCL tear".

Wishing her nothing but the Willy West level speedy recovery.

Brief Thoughts on Smackdown Yesterday.

I surprisingly like it. Yes, it felt like a continuation of Wrestlemania Backlash but they did show some unique match-ups and arcs (hence the sentence, "leftovers with fresh salad on the side").

Vince McMahon Has Wrestlemania 39 PLANS!?

Long term storytelling on its way back via the crazy white old man himself? Remember that Money In The Bank commercial where Cody Rhodes said something along the lines of "winner of the MITB contract gets a championship opportunity at Wrestlemania"?

Well, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (from WrestlingInc) has heard from multiple sauces that the commercial was a mistake.

However, they've mentioned that Vinnie Mac has plans set for next year’s Wrestlemania that isn't related to the Money In the Bank contract regarding a guaranteed title shot.

To quote an overused line, "will see what happens."

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy? Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
