The 5 News Week: Jason Jordan Injury Update, Ronda Rousey Rumoured To Play She-Hulk?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

Jason Jordan's Injury Update.

Jason Jordan has worked as a producer moments after getting neck surgery in February of last year and remained hopeful that he steps into the square circle once more.

From The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (shout out to WrestlingInc for the quotes), his career is most likely over but Jordan was reportedly "doing pretty good" back in January but he had trouble holding his fist.

He has however been doing pretty well as a producer even viewing his opinion as "high regard" according to WrestleVotes tweet back in March.

I remember at one point, liking where his character was heading towards. It's a shame that we don't get to see that conclusion considering that he is very talented in the ring.

How Vince Reportedly Feels About Chad Gable.

Now, you may read this headline like "that's obvious, he doesn't see any star power in the guy" but you are actually wrong…….. reportedly. From Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (again shout out to WrestlingInc), Vince actually "likes and appreciates" the former Olympian and has a game plan (get it? Game plan you know because he's running the XFL?) to continue his feud with King Corbin.

(Also, Dave didn't actually say game plan. That was something I added there to summarize what he said in case you were wondering).

I'm glad he feels this way and I'm so far really appreciating on what type of story they're telling with Chad Gable.

Ronda Rousey Rumoured To Play She-Hulk!?

Ronda Rousey has been doing some acting work as of late such as appearing on FOX's 9-1-1 as a firefighter but this piece of news is something that you should take with a grain of salt.

Just to get on track, She-Hulk is getting a series for the upcoming Disney Plus streaming service. From We Got This Covered (which if you don't know, they're basically Ringside News in terms of exclusive news reporting), their sources told them that Ronda Rousey of all people is eyed to play the lawyer crime-fighting heroine.

I would've dived in as to why they're not reliable but that would be a 5-page essay and I'm not doing all that because life. Just life.

Former Wrestlers Appearing On Big Show's Sitcom.

Sticking to a theme of wrestlers in a series, Big Show is currently filming his sitcom that is set to launch on Netflix and on a recent Instagram post, it seems that Mick Foley, Rikishi and Mark Henry are part of that show. Honestly, I like watching sitcoms so I'll give this a shot.

RAW And Smackdown Getting A New Entrance Stage?

RAW and Smackdown Live entrance stages doesn’t look like it was made with much life put in when it comes to their design stages since 2008 but WrestleVotes is getting my hopes up in a tweet that says….

"This coming week of TV is the final week with the current entrance stage. Both RAW & SmackDown are getting an updated, fresh feeling set."

Hoping that it’s actually true.

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Three Big Returns, A Great Inaugural Women's Championship Match.

If you have been a fan of this site since January, then you'll know that I've completely rebooted my review process and now, I'm doing that again.  Don't worry, the format for my RAW, Smackdown and PPV reviews will still be the same but not on Wednesdays. So, here it is, My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT The Highlights. Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle For The NXT Championship.  A match that opened this episode of the yellow brand, the original bro and the leader of The Undisputed Era tore the house down.  Whether it's Cole reversing the fireman's carry from Riddle into a backstabber, Cole hitting a Panama sunrise twice, a floating bro or the crowd chanting "Adam Cole, bro", it was a visual statement by NXT that the yellow brand is THE brand to watch.  Unfortunately,  Riddle felt short and ate the last shot but there was another highlight I wanna talk about….. Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...
