WWE NXT 25/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

Not as great as last week's show but it was a good effort overall by NXT.

Keith Lee vs Dominic Djakovic.

WWE Photo
A rematch from a fantastic match several weeks ago and no surprise, it was amazing. After a test of strength being implemented by both guys, Lee hits a quick crossbody.

Djakovic then delivered a chokeslam to Lee on the ring apron. Lee countered that devastating moment with an impressive one with a moonsault from the middle rope.

A Canadian destroyer and a moonsault from Djakovic later and Djakovic was shocked that Keith carried him to which Lee delivered a modified jackhammer to win this match.

And yes, it was a 50/50 booking but WHO. THE. HELL. CARES!? That is what I call a wrestling equivalent of a delicious entree.

Dakota Kai vs Taynara.

WWE Photo
Nice seeing Dakota Kai once again. The New Zealander won the match with GTK or the go-to kick.

The Street Profits cut a promo earlier about their tag team title match next week against the Undisputed Era and how they will capture the titles once more. I don't mind it given that the tag team division is kinda weak right now.

Killian Dain vs Matt Riddle. Winner Gets An Opportunity To Face The NXT Champion Next Week For The NXT Championship.

WWE Photo
Mauro Ranallo was right in that the first half of the match was executed as a normal match but that wasn't the case during the commercial break where Riddle hits Dain with a series of strikes via a Kendo stick.

Dain would actually destroy somebody with that suicide dive to Riddle but Riddle managed to get back up.

Eventually, they brawled near the stage area which led to Dain delivering a crossbody to Riddle through a wooden wall. Matt then hits a knee strike through a steel chair to Dain followed by an armbar and he won this match…bro.

WWE Photo
After the match, Adam Cole showed up inside the ring to say that Riddle is not on his league but he shut him up with an armbar and the rest of the Undisputed Era ran to the rescue and fortunately for Matt Riddle, he escaped immediately. A very fun encounter. Can't wait to watch this NXT match title next week though.

Rhea Ripley vs Kayden Carter.

WWE Photo
Formerly known as Lacey Lane. The 2018 Mae Young classic tournament competitor was very impressive but that wasn't enough because she got riptided by Rhea Ripley.

Oney Lorcan And Danny Burch vs Ever-Rise.

WWE Photo
Ever-Rise were surprisingly dominant throughout this match for the most part. Danny Burch makes a comeback with European uppercuts and a series of chops on both members of Ever-Rise which led to a double team DDT finish and won the match.

If they give Ever-Rise more Ws then the NXT might have another legit tag team because they were impressive in this match.

Cameron Grimes vs Raul Mendoza.

WWE Photo

Raul dodged a running stomp from Grimes moments after the bell has rung. They collided with their lower chests. The match has ended with a running stomp from Grimes and the North Carolina native won the match.

This felt like a typical cruiserweight match. It wasn't great but it did its job of executing a decent encounter though.

Kushida And Two Mystery Partners Vs Imperium in Alexander Wolfe, Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel.

WWE Photo
The two mystery partners Kushida brought in were The Fashion Police in Tyler Breeze and Fandango which got a negative reaction from Nigel (that made me laugh).

The babyface team were in the zone throughout the first half of this match but Barthel delivered a vicious European uppercut to Tyler Breeze. Tyler Breeze tagged Fandango and Fandango tore the house down with a dive on the heel team.

WWE Photo
Kushida led his team to victory with a bridge roll up to Barthel he encountered a big boot from Walter. To quote in the style of Asuka, Nobody is ready for Walter.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Keith Lee vs Dominic Djakovic, Killian Dain vs Matt Riddle.

Didn't like: Nothing.

Now, you're probably asking "Are you going to review AEW?" as a matter of fact, yes but I don't want to review NXT and AEW Dynamite separately at the same day hours apart because usually, I put a lot of thought and effort in my reviews and I don't like to rush my reviews like that.

So, I'm here to tell you guys that starting next week, I'm combining my reviews for both shows with a different format called "My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays". The format is simple.

In each show, I'll tell you my highlights, some other things that I thought was fine and stuff that I thought was lame. Hoping that you guys will enjoy the format and this review. WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The State Of Wrestlemania 37.

I usually save those kinds of pieces for my weekly news series, The 5 News Week due to how modern this subject is and how my essays usually dwell on the past.  Usually, it is too early to talk about an upcoming Wrestlemania in October but not this time especially since we're still in a pandemic.  This is a topic I've been thinking about all month and I had to write my thoughts on it.  Let's answer this question right away whether Wrestlemania 37 will happen in SoFii stadium next year?  from CBS Los Angeles The answer is an obvious no. But, I want to try to dig deeper and see exactly where we stand today.  As of me writing this, Wrestlemania: Hollywood edition is still scheduled to take place in SoFi stadium despite an outlet that shall not be named, claiming otherwise.  This is either sheer blind optimism or downright idiotic from Dubya, Dubya E.  WrestleVotes did mention back in July that while the event is still going to take place in the stadium,...
