The 5 News Week: WWE Comes Back To MSG In 2020, An Update On Aliyah's Injury.

A rare Saturday edition of 5 news week but if you're new here, I publish this weekly news article every Sunday and the format goes like this. I report on 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately and I put them in one post. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

An Update On Aliyah's Injury.

Aliyah's heel persona is something I'm really warming up to. Unfortunately, Aliyah is taking time off due to her nose being broken but that kick from Xia Li to Aliyah's face last week on NXT TV was a work at least according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio earlier this week.

Meltzer mentioned that the spot from Li was done to explain Aliyah's absence inside the square circle and the reason why Aliyah is taking an absence is that she's getting surgery on her nose. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Jimmy Havoc Fined For Using A Staple Gun.

On this past week's episode of Dynamite, we saw Jimmy Havoc use a staple gun on pretty much everybody during the diamond dozen battle royal match. On the Twitta, AEW management has now "reprimanded Jimmy Havoc for utilizing a staple gun on Wednesday night in Indianapolis."

They then went on to say that he's fine for his actions and he'll be fined again if he used a staple gun. I literally thought this was real when I read the headline but now it wasn't.

WWE Comes Back To MSG For A Live Show In 2020.

WWE returned to Madison square garden in early September for two nights in Monday night RAW and Smackdown and now, they're coming back to the garden for a RAW live event according to PWInsider and Mike Johnson

The date for the MSG show is on March 22nd, 2020 which is two weeks before Wrestlemania 36. The RAW and Smackdown Show on MSG was good so will see what WWE has in store for us on that show in 2020.

An NXT Takeover Pre-show Match Is Set.

Angel Garza is set to face Isiah "Swerve" Scott on the Takeover Wargames pre-show match following Garza's fantastic performance in the cruiserweight championship match last week against Lio Rush.

This is the first time that an NXT Takeover pre-show will showcase a match so that's a no shit, Sherlock moment for you.

Lacey Evans About Fans Thinking That She Moved To The Main Roster Early.

The Sassy Southern Bell recently spoke with 101WKQX (that looks like a password) radio in Chicago with Kevin Kellam promoting the festivities that are going on with Survivor Series and Evans talked about how she didn't feel being called up to the main shows early (from Fightful):

"Too early? Sweetheart. No such thing. People get what they deserve. I'm a hard worker and they saw that I could bring many things, including class to the main roster to Raw, to SmackDown on any brand that I'm put in," she quipped. "And that is exactly what I did. So, I mean, a lot of people may be mad because they're not in my position making the money that I'm making, but that has nothing to do with me."

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Three Big Returns, A Great Inaugural Women's Championship Match.

If you have been a fan of this site since January, then you'll know that I've completely rebooted my review process and now, I'm doing that again.  Don't worry, the format for my RAW, Smackdown and PPV reviews will still be the same but not on Wednesdays. So, here it is, My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT The Highlights. Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle For The NXT Championship.  A match that opened this episode of the yellow brand, the original bro and the leader of The Undisputed Era tore the house down.  Whether it's Cole reversing the fireman's carry from Riddle into a backstabber, Cole hitting a Panama sunrise twice, a floating bro or the crowd chanting "Adam Cole, bro", it was a visual statement by NXT that the yellow brand is THE brand to watch.  Unfortunately,  Riddle felt short and ate the last shot but there was another highlight I wanna talk about….. Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...
