WWE RAW 17/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was a mediocre show that had some redeeming qualities but for the most part again, it was a mediocre show. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.

WHAT'S GOOD

Dean Ambrose vs Drew McIntyre

Good match. It was surprisingly hard hitting in my opinion but there was a dumb babyface moment where dean jumped from a ring post and Drew reversed it and instead Dean hit himself on the barricade. After that, Drew hit the claymore kick and wins the match.

The opening segment

Overall, the segment was pretty good but the most interesting thing I've noticed in this segment was Roman Reigns' promo before Strowman showed up. In my opinion, he has come a LONG way in terms of mic skills. Don't get me wrong he's not "the best talker in WWE right now" but he has improved a lot. But that didn't stop me from thinking that the main event of that show was boring as hell.

Lio rush. That is all.

My goodness, him reversing and dodging moves from Elias and Kevin Owens like I'm playing the spiderman ps4 game all over again was entertaining to watch. By far, the best thing on that show. Kudos to Lio Rush.

WHAT'S OK

Chad Gable vs Victor of the Ascension

This match was one big meh. Chad wins with his modified German suplex with a bridge. After the match, Connor of the Ascension beats both gable and Roode and walks out of the ring. Whatever.

Undertaker shows up on RAW

The promo he cut was okay but the noteworthy moment in that promo was that Shawn Michaels will be on Triple H's corner while the mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee Kane will be on Undertaker's corner because it is a possibility that Michaels will interfere in that match and Kane being there to even the odds actually makes a lot of sense and for that I'm fine with it.

However, I hope to God that Michaels will not come out of retirement just so he could be in a tag team match with Hunter as his partner vs the brothers of destruction at the crown jewel event on November 2.

Seth Rollins vs Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental championship

The Kingslayer is still Intercontinental Champion!
Honestly speaking, they had better matches. It's an Okay match in my opinion. Seth Rollins wins here and retains the championship with the stomp.

WHAT'S BAD

Bayley vs Dana Brooke

WWE Photo
Why? Because it is a waste of my time that's why. Bayley wins with the Bayley to belly finish.

Another AOP squash match.

The title above says it all. They win with that double powerbomb signature move. I mean I get the tag team division is very thin in terms of credibility and the fact that they got little to no teams but come on. Have them at least face against teams like the B team but what can you do?

Ronda Rousey's "open challenge"

WWE Photo
The reason why I use air quotes in the word "open challenge" is because Natalya's music hits and instead it was the riott squad dragging her and Ruby accepted Rousey's challenge until Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan got involved. To my surprise (sarcasm of course) the Bella twins came out to ring and saved Ronda. Can WWE just do something creative with their women's division on RAW right now because at this point, I'm beyond uninterested.

Roman Reigns vs Baron Corbin for the universal championship

Spear for the win!
Like I said earlier, the main event was boring. It was so boring that I actually almost fall asleep during this match. Roman Reigns wins with the almighty, the all-powerful spear.

WWE RAW 9/5/22 | A Coherent Review.

Yes, I didn't review Wrestlemania Backlash because one, I knocked out after a long day and two, why not? I did watch the show and it's like an episode of a Telltale game in that it's short and sweet.  How was the red brand this week?  Even though Wrestlemania Backlash is over, it still feels like I'm watching a build toward that show. It's like eating yesterday's leftovers with some fresh salad on the side, ya know. I'm hoping Hell In A Cell concludes everything.  The Street Profits vs RKBRO For The RAW Tag Team Championship.  Hey, look. A good tag team match, playas! Yes, they've fought each other more times than Call Of Duty sequels but like I said, I enjoyed it. RKBRO retained the championship with an RKO from Riddle to Montez Ford.  Rhea Ripley Is Now An Evil Goth Girl.  She said, "f**k them, kids". Also, why's Edge rocking the "I believe in white genocide" look? Ripley had a match with Liv Morgan and of course, she won the w...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...
