WWE Smackdown 22/11/19 | My Coherent Review.

I'm not a fan of the Smackdown on Fox episodes so far except one which was the NXT Invasion episode but this episode was really good thanks to you guessed it, the invasion between all brands.

Will see how SmackDown does creatively following Survivor Series and beyond. Hoping that the shows after this are not a snooze fest.

Smackdown Prepare Their One Last Brawl With RAW And NXT.

WWE Photo
The show opened with Roman Reigns giving his Smackdown troops some motivation few days before Survivor Series.

Sasha Banks as Smackdown team captain for the women's 5 on 5 on 5 tag team traditional Survivor Series match, brought her team members to the ring and called out RAW.

Smackdown got their wish and Team RAW showed up and Charlotte challenged Sasha to a match for old times sake.

WWE Photo
Team NXT entered the house that AJ Styles built in Smackdown and Rhea Ripley wanted this match to be a triple threat match between herself, Banks and Flair and that's the opening match of this show.

The match ended with a W for Rhea when Charlotte did the figure eight to Banks and Ripley applied the crucifix pin while the submission was locked in. That was a cool finish and a big win for Rhea Ripley. I like it.

Sami Zayn Unveils Something.

WWE PhotoThat something was a brand new Intercontinental championship design and it looks fabulous but I would prefer a bit of blue on the main plate however, the title looks fantastic nevertheless.

Sami Zayn then asked Shinsuke Nakamura about the North American champion's name and Nakamura said that he drew a blank. Speaking of the North American champion, out came Roderick Strong and the rest of Undisputed Era which led to The New Day showing up and challenging them to a match.

But given that the SmackDown tag team champions were outnumbered, they brought up Heavy Machinery. Did I mention that the Intercontinental championship looks great? I think I have.

The New Day and Heavy Machinery vs The Undisputed Era.

WWE Photo
Heavy Machinery did a double team manoeuvre which was a throw into a belly to belly suplex to Kylie O'Reilly. Tucker Knight delivered a picture-perfect moonsault to Roderick Strong basically putting Charlotte's moonsault to shame.

The messiah of the backbreaker countered that with a knee to Tucker's face ironically and The Undisputed Era won the match.

AJ Styles delivered a phenomenal forearm outta nowhere to Nakamura and thanks to Sami Zayn, he brought a chair and hits on Styles and Roderick Strong. A very good enjoyable match. AJ Styles cut a typical heel promo of his you know, "I'm the best thing in WWE" basically.

Daniel Bryan Calls Out Bray Wyatt.

WWE Photo
Bryan wants to summon The Fiend aka calling him out. The lights went down and Wyatt didn't show up but instead, The Miz came out and he didn't like the way Bryan treated him last week so Miz slapped Daniel leading to a one on one match.

Bryan was about to hit the yes chant when preparing for the running knee and then, The Fiend stood in Miz's place and choked out Bryan with the mandible claw. An okay match. Looking forward to this match though and I hope they get rid of that stupid red lights.

Oh, and Shayna Baszler and Bayley brawled after the Fiend's appearance.

Mustafa Ali, Chad Gable and Roman Reigns vs King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode.

WWE Photo
Ali delivered a dive on Ziggler and Roode and had a bit of a back and forth with Corbin but the 2019 King Of The Ring winner planted him with deep-six of all moves and the heel team won the match because apparently pinning the hometown guy is a brand new idea to WWE.

WWE Photo
Reigns helped Ali from an additional beating by Corbin with a spear and Seth Rollins along with the rest of the Monday Night RAW roster showed up. Roman and Seth exchanged some rights and lefts and the rest of Smackdown came to save the big dog. The entire NXT roster came with the same vehicle that DX drove back in the late 90s and chaos ensued.

Yes, RAW, NXT and now Smackdown had a similar conclusion but all of all the brand invasion segments, this was by far the best one. All of the shows brought the big guns this time with the exception of some however, it was satisfying to watch (that Braun Strowman and Keith Lee stare down was great).

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos

Like: The New Day and Heavy Machinery vs The Undisputed Era, the ending of this very episode, the way Rhea Ripley pinned Charlotte.

Didn't like: Nitpicking but I'm not a fan of Mustafa Ali being pinned in his home city.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Did NXT Just Delivered Their Best Go Home Show!?, A Fantastic AEW Dynamite Main Event.

Did I just witness the best NXT go home show ever?  The answer my friends is yes.  While I prefer NXT this week, AEW Dynamite wasn't bad either and a big step up compared to the series of bore-fest shows they produced.  NXT   Highlights.  Msk vs Legado De La Fantasma. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament SemiFinals.  God damn. What a way to start off the NXT before Vengeance Day.  Unique offensives from Msk is why that tag team is growing on me pretty quickly.  And luckily for them, they advance to the finals which will be conducted at Takeover: Vengeance Day with a double team manoeuvre.  Xia Li Continues To Dominate.  I've been a fan of whatever NXT is doing with this angle and it's mainly because they're embracing the cinematic scripted nature of the business which is what some consider "unrealistic" for some reason.  And yet, they don't mind The Undertaker shooting lightning-like Static Shock at Royal Rumble 2006 but he...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...
