WWE RAW 19/7/21 | A Coherent Review.

Not gonna lie, this episode of RAW was f**king bad. It did have its moments but as a whole, it was the typical Monday Night RAW content I've been watching but with fans now.

John Felix Anthony Cena Explains His Motivation Behind His WWE Return.

The reason why the former 16-time world champion came back to world wrestling entertainment is quite simple.

He wants the blue belt that Roman Reigns is currently holding.

Why? Because according to Jacob Toretto, Roman Reigns is a piece of sh*te. Side note, Cena will be on Smackdown this week to confront the tribal chief so there's that.

I ain't mad that Cena showed up to RAW instead of Smackdown to air his motivations since the gut wasn't part of last year's draft.

This current iteration of Roman Reigns vs John Cena is a dream match that somehow feels like it was leading to that big destination and not a random face that WWE wants to put against the universal champion.

Overall it was simple, to the point segment that did its work on building this universal championship bout.

Riddle And The Viking Raiders vs AJ Styles, Omos And John Morrison.

Omos' lack of cooperation with The Miz, led to a victory for the opposite team with the Viking Experience. A good opener is all I have to say.

Jaxson Ryker vs Elias In A Symphony Of Destruction Match.

This match kinda surprised me in the sense that it wasn't horrible as I thought it would be.

Jaxson Ryker wins with not a superplex but a MAGAplex through the table (what can I say? I love to laugh).

Rhea Ripley Asked For A Rematch For The Red Women's Belt.

Charlotte Flair basically said about how she doesn't tear a page of a book because she created the book.

Out came the Aussie herself, Rhea Ripley and like the title stated above, Ripley wanted a rematch because that's the WWE way of creating a story.

WWE is like that kid that spams the rematch button every time they lose a game of Fifa in kick-off mode.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville made the rematch official for later in the episode. However, something really surprising happened.

The match ended via a DQ due to Charlotte using the belt to strike on Ripley (we've seen her beat Ripley clean last night. So, why would Flair pull that move?).

Ripley hits the riptide on the queen and then Nikki A.S.H runs to the ring and hits the crossbody to become the first-ever women's champion.

WWE definitely did this because the crowd is back and they wanted to give the audience "the shock".

I do not hate this ending. But, I did hate the ending of the women's championship match before the cash for the reason I just stated in brackets above.

Natalya And Tamina vs Nia Jax And Shayna Baszler.

The women's champion won thanks to, you guessed it, a distraction from Shayna Baszler.

Jax then told Reggie to go F himself and the dude was left all alone until he picked up the 24/7 championship from Akira Tozawa. Cool.

Sheamus vs Humberto Carrillo.

Speaking of rematches. Sheamus wins with the brogue kick.

Bobby Lashley's Open Challenge.

The person that accepted Lashley's challenge is the returning Keith Lee.

And on his first night back, the dude already took an L with Bobby Lashley.

I wouldn't mind a loss here but the issue is that the match was so one-sided for the most part that it felt at times like a squash and WWE shouldn't especially be doing that to Keith Lee.

Speaking of returns. Goldberg showed up and confronted the WWE champion. Big yawn.

After a fantastic build that Bobby Lashley had for the previous PPV, this was a big step down in terms of storytelling and overall interest.

Jeff Hardy vs Karrion Kross.

Jeff Hardy kept his word because "no more words" is back and I love it.

To quote Peaches And Herb, "reunited and it feels so good".

Hardy prevailed with a roll-up using the ropes.

Pretty lame to have the champion lose like that. Kross looked like an amateur compared to the way he's been written in NXT.

Alexa Bliss had the usual "scary yet optimistic" speech in her playground towards Eva Marie and Doudrop. Cooool.

And the final segment of the night before the cash-in was Drew McIntyre just destroying Jinder Mahal and Indus Sher with chair shots.

Am I the only one that doesn't give two sh*ts about this rivalry? Of course, I'm not the only one because it's Monday Night RAW.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Opening segment, the 6 man tag team match, "no more words" is back.

Didn't like: Rematches that I do not care about, Keith Lee getting the squash from Bobby Lashley, the ending of the women's championship match before the cash in, Karrion Kross looking like a loser after his loss from Jeff Hardy, *yawn* Goldberg.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
