WWE RAW 6/5/19 | My Coherent Review.

This is where I feel about how RAW is a hit or miss for me. Last week was a weak hit but a hit nevertheless but this week. This week was a definite miss. In other words, this was a bad show and also a skippable show too.

Opening segment.

“You’ve had your spoiled little children running around here running the show,” Reigns said.
The show kicked off with the madmen himself, Vince McMahon. He came out to say this RAW episode will be one for the ages because of him until Roman Reigns showed up with Michael Cole saying “here comes the big dog”.

Roman, please stay on SmackDown Live, please? Vince asked him that why Roman is over sudden on RAW? Roman brought up how the McMahon Family told the fans that the fans are now the authority and he's gonna listen to the WWE universe now.

The returning Daniel Bryan showed and the former planet's champion said that he's owed a rematch for the WWE championship with chants of “Kofi, Kofi, Kofi” which made me laugh. Out came Kofi Kingston (what the hell is going on?). Kofi and Daniel were arguing with each other until Vince said that the three SmackDown stars showing up was his plan all along.

Here came the Scottish psychopath (I know it's lame but it's much better than how Micheal hypes up Roman Reigns) and threatened Roman to beat the crap out of the big dog. Vince then made two Wrestlemania matches in Roman vs Drew and Kofi and Daniel for the WWE championship.

AJ vows to win the Universal Title at WWE Money in the Bank.

After that, AJ Styles came out and he asked why the SmackDown Live stars showed up on RAW? Vince then replied with that it's a wildcard rule, three superstars of RAW can go to Smackdown and vice versa and out came Seth Rollins. (By the way, I gotta ask. if you wanna invite stars from RAW to Smackdown and vice versa then why can't you invite all of the stars instead of three?).

Just like Kofi and Bryan, Both guys were arguing with each other about what happened last week which led to Vince putting two of those guys together in a tag team match. As you can tell by reading this, that was a LONG opening segment and they should've made that tag team match without that segment.

Seth Rollins and AJ Styles vs Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin.

Do you know what happens when two guys who are feuding with each other teaming up for a tag team match? They stay on the same page but that didn't last long and costs his teammate the match so that the opponent has a big advantage for a win.

Oh, you thought that it went differently this time? You have to been naive if that's the case. I don't mind if something goes in a predictable direction as long as it is something to make you as a viewer, wanna watch the next week's show.

Sami Zayn Aka The Critic Of The Critics Talks About His Hatred For The Fans.

Zayn wonders what the WWE Universe will complain about tonight when Roman Reigns is here from SmackDown, and Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan will battle for the WWE Title.
After Sami Zayn was crapping on the fans once again, out came the monster among men in Braun Strowman and just like that, Sami Zayn retreated but Strowman was chasing him all throughout the arena until Strowman catches him and puts him in a big trash can. What the hell was that? If that's how this storyline is heading then I’m not impressed so far.

Lucha House Party vs Local jobbers.

WWE Photo
Lucha House Party won the match with a shooting star press from Lince Dorado. That's it.

Ricochet vs Robert Roode.

WWE Photo
Well hey, at least they acknowledged Ricochet’s loss two weeks ago. It was also a much better match then their match two weeks ago. The match ended with a W from Ricochet with a 630 splash. Good old 50/50 booking.

After the match, Rey Mysterio and his son Dominic were near Rey Mysterio’s locker room and Rey told his son to get some water. Samoa Joe followed Dominic then minutes after the commercial break, Samoa Joe scolded on Dominic’s face that he's gonna beat Rey Mysterio at Money In The Bank.

Lacey Evans vs Local jobber.

WWE Photo
After Lacey Evans invited the competitors in the Women's Money In The Bank ladder match, The match ended quickly with the woman's right.

Lacey then cut a promo basically telling those women that something is gonna happen to those women until Becky Lynch came out and brawled with The Sassy Southern Bell. Whatever.

The Viking Raiders vs Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins.

WWE Photo
The Viking Raiders won the match with the Viking Experience. Impressive but that wouldn't make me like this show.

Another instalment of the firefly fun house and in it, The blizzard ate the talking rabbit from last week's segment and Bray told the Blizzard that he should be forgiven for what he did.

The segment ended with Bray decided to put on a picnic filled with unhappy kids sitting on the floor of the firefly fun house. By far the best thing about this show and I can't wait what they have in store next.

Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre. Wrestlemania Rematch.

WWE Photo
The matched ended in a DQ because Shane McMahon and Elias came out and they were beating him until The Miz showed up with a chair in hand and Shane ran away. Meanwhile, in the ring, Elias grabbed Roman Reigns so that Drew could hit him with the claymore kick which that's exactly what happened.

Shane McMahon was stopped by Charly Caruso so that she could ask a question. Shane obviously didn't say anything until The Miz from behind, hits McMahon with that steel chair. Michael Cole brought up a good point that Elias showing makes him the 4th superstar from SmackDown Live coming out on RAW. Like I said earlier, why they can't invite all the stars instead of 3? Nevertheless, this was a decent match.

The Revival vs The Good Bros.

WWE Photo
The Usos came out and told them that they put something in their wrestling trunks which made them go absolutely mad. I hate throwing that word around but The Revival just got buried.

No Way Jose vs Who?

WWE Photo
No Way Jose came out with his conga line until Lars Sullivan (the 5th SmackDown Live star that showed up on this episode of RAW by the way), came out and destroyed No Way Jose. Lars then met with Vince McMahon and Vince made the wildcard rule from 3 stars showing up to 4.

Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan for the WWE championship.

WWE Photo
At one point, Daniel Bryan threw Kofi to the ring apron that landed on his head onto the outside. Don't know how he survived but he did. He also survived this match with a win over Daniel Bryan. Oh, and it was a decent match.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Ricochet vs Robert Roode, firefly fun house.

Didn't like: The stuff with The Usos and The Revival, the wildcard rule contradicts itself, the AJ Styles and Seth Rollins segment and their tag team match, good old 50/50 booking from the Ricochet and Robert Roode match but that's to be expected.

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: A Broserweight Road Trip To Portland, Britt Baker Addresses Her Attack On Yuka Sakazaki Last Week.

While this was a typical night for AEW, NXT, however, had a go-home show to deliver just days before the next anticipated Takeover show in Portland, Oregon.  But, NXT's final show before the second Takeover of 2020 didn't bring it, unfortunately, in terms of quality as the 20th episode of AEW Dynamite was the better show this week even though AEW Dynamite is a hit or miss program.  NXT    Highlights.  Roderick Strong vs Bronson Reed. Before the match, a pissed off Roderick Strong demanded an apology from the Velveteen Dream given that Dream put his wife and child's face on his trucks.  By the way, Bronson Reed's theme song is killer and so is this match. A slow, technical, old-school type of match that wouldn't fit the big man on paper but the execution was a different story.  The lights turned purple and Reed hits the suicide dive but he missed a Samoan splash that led to a knee strike from Strong and wins the match.  Then,...

Top 3 BEST Distraction Finishes EVER!

Distraction endings to a wrestling match in WWE depend on one another if you think about it. It's like the peanut butter and jelly or the chicken and the basmati biryani rice or Dan Lambert and sexism.  "Why top 3", you may ask? Because one, I'm different and two, well, I'm different, so be gone to the mofos that think it's shorter than Brock Lesnar's bout with Kofi Kingston.  (WARNING: This piece is mostly sarcasm).  Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus. Wrestlemania 28.  I know this made your eyebrows raise as high as Rocky Maivia but think about this. The kiss from AJ Lee that led to a brogue kick from Sheamus, has in some way, led to the general audience seeing how Daniel Bryan should be WAY higher in the overall arc than where he was at that time.  Also, this was also the year where Bryan showed off his comedic chops with his "NO" catchphrase and his tag team run with the big red conservative, Kane.  If anything, this distraction finish was a great chara...

Roman Reigns Relinquishes The Universal Title Because He Has Leukemia.

I have a sad and unfortunate news to break. Two hours ago on RAW, Roman cut a great promo pretty much stating that he's been living with leukemia for over 11 years and the disease's return forced him to give up the universal championship. The segment ended with both shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins gave a group hug to Roman and did the triple shield fist pump. Ever since that, fellow WWE superstars reacted to the news on Twitter and here are the tweets so far. An amazing human being, an incredible performer & a man I’m proud to be friends with. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. Get well soon, champ! #ThankYouRoman https://t.co/jL1Q5dVvzs — #WOKEN, yet #BROKEN, Matt Hardy (@MATTHARDYBRAND) October 23, 2018 My heart right now ....
